Round 2.: Skynet DOES NOT have time travel tech at their disposal

How does time travel tech help take down the Cylons? Would the battle be more even if I ruled out time travel?

If you take time travel away it's spite in favor of the cyclons

And the reason time travel tech is useful because Skynet can send machines back into the future revealing all the advantages the cyclons had over Skynet allowing them to prep for it they'll just keep sending machines into the past making Skynet more knowledgeable and giving them ways to fight the cyclons eventually with time travel tech they can make space ships to fight the cyclons.

@agentxx: Yeah, actually that makes a lot of sense. Still, with out time travel I don't think it would a be "spite." We've seen alot of interesting flying mech's and giant robots at skynets disposal, particularly at the beginning of T1 and in T4.

It's true in ground forces Skynet is a bit better, but air force dominates all and the cyclones have thousands of space ships which can bombard earth from orbit with 50 mega ton bombs.

@agentxx: Hmmm, but skynet should still have nukes as well no? In any case their in control of all nuclear silos on the planet and certainly capable of creating more right?

@Onemoreposter: nukes can only get you so far, and in theory nukes won't be so effective on space ships (saw it on a documentary as in what if aliens invaded) they can produce nukes but it will take some time to get the resources and than manufacture the nukes mean while the cyclons already have stock piles of missiles and bombs on their battle ships

Nope, they'll be powning the skynet but with time travel tech and some time Skynet will be powning the cyclones

round 1, terminators win because of time travel

sound 2, cylons could win if they have their basestar ships. then the just park in space and nuke the planet from orbit

Not the cylons, offensive ability goes to the terminators as well as tech advantages.
