Ra's has resources. With prep he should win.

PS: How is Laurel able to beat multiple assassins at once with a couple months experience in fighting?

Lately on Arrow, they having using Meryln to reveal some impossible pieces of information. Meryln can do that because the League knows a lot of things, I think that he could discover that Eiling has plans to take on Metas and he with his League contacts can find him.

@black_arrow: Those would be detective/smart/info feats for Meryln then. Not Ras. In fact Meryln has proved time and time again he in fact is smarter than Ras, is more resourceful, & is a the better prep master(since his plan actually worked).

Merlyn just used the connections that the League had already established. Ra's Al Ghul managed to get the alpha omega virus thanks to the League. So Ra's has been shown to get what he wants through the League.

@black_arrow: Ras wasn't very competent and Meryln has shown a much better grip on things and has a lot more accomplishments; including being able to complete his plan in season 1, being able to manipulate Oliver during season 3, and succeed in getting rid of Ras.

Malcolm is more accomplishied than Ra's don't get me wrong. But it's clear that the League could get tons of secret information, Malcolm may know how to use that information better but using a grenade that dihabilitates the powers of the opponent is a no brainer.

@black_arrow: Ras is not dumb, but not a great leader or prepster. He wouldn't get the job done, even after a month.

Well he did managed to lead the League for over a hundred years and he did manage to make people loyal to his cause, something that Malcolm is currently having problems with. So I am not so sure that Malcolm is a great leader, he is more of a prepster. I think that he could use his League connections to dig up something, he had people like Maseo under him that were already secret agents, so he doesn't need to be a great detective nor prepper to do this.

@staticdwanyemcduffie: I don't really have much to say here. I'd like to think Ra's would win, especially with this scenario. But it's kind of hard to argue, I just feel like that is what would happen in-universe. A rookie like Firestorm can't singlehandedly defeat the most dangerous man to ever live.

ra's isn't good with prep because hes an archaeic kind of person. hes all about honor, fair combat, blood must have blood, and dying by the sword. he won't use his prep. he'll march up to firestorm and try to kill him with a sword. because that's how things have been done in the league for countless centuries.

ras has no chane at all. he gets burned to a crisp. the only reason savage is any kind of threat is due to the fact that he is immortal.

that is actually a fix i agree with. every time they actually face him, they wind up winning. this series can be over in one episode. they just go back in time, tear his limbs off, and then stick him in a vault for years.

No kidding. I liked when Rip shanked Savage to a point of total incap then just randomly decided to leave him there.

Why didn't he just have cold freeze him, then take him to get killed by Hawkgirl? This happens every time too. All they need to do is capture him then kill him later, but they always seem to leave him there. PIS is ever present in this series.

With a month to get his hands on the countermeasures Eiling employed against Firestorm, I could see Ra's having a chance. But, without those countermeasures, no amount of arrow timing, Arrow fanatic fanwank, or "I am Ra's al Ghul" monologues will save him.
