CW Malcolm Merlyn vs Mystique

This is CW Malcolm Merlyn vs the movie version of Mystique. Her feats can come from any of the X-Men movies she has appeared in. Both are in-character and the fights are to the death. They take place in an abandoned warehouse in Starling City.

Round 1: Standard gear, start 20 yards apart (Mystique has a pistol, Merlyn has his bow and both normal & trick arrows)

Round 2: Strictly H2H combat, start 10 yards away

Who wins each round and why?

Merlyn both rounds. I haven't been impressed with Mystique in any of the films.

Mystique in round 2. She seems far stronger and faster.

Merlyn stomps in the first round. His arrow shooting is OP.

Could go either way. If Mystique is allowed to morph, she'd probably take it. I'm torn here...

Merlyn could possibly win round 1, but I'm taking Mystique in round 2. From what I've seen, she's faster, stronger, and superhumanly agile. @risingbean: What say ye?

@indomitableregal: I'm in agreement. Merlyn has vastly superior ranged feats so he takes that without question.

Mystique trumps him at h2h distance. She probably kicks him in the balls just to piss him off.

mystique gives him a run for his money but they never explained her training where we know merlyn is a trained assassin.

@allstarsuperman: personally, other than the opening fight in X2, X-Men films aren't the best for fight scenes, And I think Mystique is a hard character to make look good in live action.

I'm just curious, does he even use trick arrows though? Unless you mean his Curare laced ones.

If Mystique has her powers she wins both rounds...
