CW Battle: Captain Cold vs Malcolm Merlyn

Scenario: After Oliver's departure from Starling City, Thea has taken up the responsibility of protecting the city. Meanwhile, Captain Cold has decided to move shop to Starling City, where he goes on a crime spree.

Speedy enters a ransacked jewelry store at night, ever alert for the thief who set off the alarm... only for a blast of absolute cold to suddenly impact her hands, shattering her bow and freezing her hands solid. Thea feints, and Captain Cold walks closer to administer the finishing blow, only for a dark, black arrow to suddenly impact his gun.

"Stay away from my daughter." The Dark Archer has arrived.

Leonard Snart picks up his gun and fights back.

All other conditions are normal. Emotional level, gear, etc. And just for clarification, these are the live action versions being used.

Dark Archer. Cold's tactics are good, but his combat feats aren't too impressive.

This is more or less like Arrow vs Cold. Whoever gets the first shot in will win, which would more than likely be Malcolm. On the off chance he doesn't get it, he misses, or Cold somehow stops the arrow, there won't be a whole lot of room in this setting for Malcolm to dodge the Cold Gun. Not a stomp, but Merlyn gets a solid 8/10 majority.

If Merlyn dodges Cold's first shot then he probably wins, via an arrow to the heart, eye, chest or wherever. If that doesn't kill him then Merlyn runs over and tears him apart for hurting his daughter.

@nickzambuto: want to go with Merlyn, he is too skilled and can take Cold out at a longer range. Plus, if he can use stealth to close the gap, it is game over. Any chance I can be added to Arrow callouts? I'm a huge fan of the show and am current on all episodes

@nickzambuto: Merlyn. He's smart. He knows the capabilities of Cold's gun. He'd probably beat Cold on the fast draw and throw a fletchette before he could pull the trigger. If not, Merlyn could probably just take cover and close the gap through stealth.

In the given scenario, Snark has gone out of his way to start committing crime in Starling so could anticipate the arrival of Merlyn and prepare for such an inconvenience. He's shown himself to be a gifted strategist, I could see him winning in the given scenario.

However in a random encounter, Malcolm should win.
