Pokemon Master Gym

By winning you become a pokemon master and receive all the pokemon gym badges!

Overall Gym Rules:

• Challenger has the right of selecting the limits (within the tier), and selects who they are using first.
• Gym Leader chooses the set up, whether a solo character or team.
• The Gym Leader is allowed to select a second to fill in for them in case of time constraints.
• If the Challenger wins the debate by votes, they earn the badge. However, if they lose the vote, the Gym Leader can still bestow the badge if he/she so wishes.
• The Challenger can only match one gym at a time.
• The Challenger has 60 hours (2 Days, 12 Hours) to respond to the gym leaders post, before forfeiting.
• The Gym Leader creates the battle in a separate thread.
• The Challenger can contest for taking over the gym if they defeat the Gym Leader 3 consecutive times, or if the Gym Leader has become inactive with permission from the voters and the commissioner (@spector_rand currently).
• Votes are counted by the commissioner, not the Gym Leader.
• The commissioner has the final say in any dispute.

Specific Battle Rules:

• Choose any team of characters from any franchise that is high street/low mid tier level (spiderman for example) the main thing is they must have elemental powers. you can choose up to 6 members on a team and choose 1 character to coach the team during battle
• coaches will not be harmed in battly by any means
• your team gets 1 day of preparation
• in character
• Matter/Molecule Manip., Time Manipulation. Reality warping, Transmutation, soul attacks, telefrag, instakills, and intangibility are restricted
• All Characters are in character but trying their hardest to win, this does not mean they are bloodlusted or Morals Off.
• Characters are aware of all the rules.

@those_eyes Really just shoulda called it the elemental gym or something. Would make for less confusion.

But im going to use pokemon for my team. so it does have pokemon in it.

U use any occasion you can do rep pokemon, its quite admirable :D

Fair enough. But since the challenger is free to pick any elemental, I'd just recommend calling it that so they aren't confused.

It's your gym tho, do as you please.

Sadly I have to agree. It's a very cool idea and one that I would like to participate in when I have more time but so many other tournies have tried to keep it up till the end and rarely do they make it to the finish. Keep up the good work whilst it lasts though to those involved.

I think it's too much of a work-load.

@lpnq: If it has sturdy it loses wonder guard. If you lose wonder guard you still take damage from attacks...

No give or take you can be a bit below or a tad bit above spirdeman. Like say for instance venom or carnage are considered a tad bit above spiderman level in some stats but still within range of spiderman to compete against.
