The OP said pre-new 52 but appears to have changed his mind...doesn't really matter though.

Kyle could hold seven entities if I remember correctly, I think he can control himself from the telepathy

WL or Original. Kyle if WL, MMH if Original.

But he was never a White Lantern Pre New 52. Still, White Lantern Kyle doesn't have any indication he has good enough TP defence feats to resist J'onn. Especially since MMH has casually mind wiped him along with the rest of the League before.
