I'll take Thor. He is durable enough to tank Alan's energy based attacks long enough to get off a hit. He can also use his lightning to block Alan's energy projection as it's been capable of blocking world destroying beams. Alan's constructs are not going to protect him from Thor's blows nor is Ni's durability going to hold up.

Maybe Thor.

Thor's going to shatter any construct he throws at him, he'd be able to put scott down relatively quickly.

Also, judging by the pictures alone, I'll take the God of Thunder over the red purple and green clown looking guy...

@chimaera: Alan is the most powerful of all the popular Green Lanterns if you didn't know. And his costume is a bit goofy because of how old he is. Had the same get-up since the 40's.

Alan Scott is one of the best Lanterns, I think he can win this one.

Thor isn't durable enough to handle Alans blasts. He's one-shotted Obsidian twice when he'd enveloped the planet, cut Mordru in half and stalemated him for a few pages and 2-shotted Hal Jordan.

Thor's lightning is nothing compared Alans blasts. Planet busting blasts are good and all, but Alans blasts have occassionally approached Multiversal in sheer power.

Alans constructs are actually pretty weak in comparison to the other human GL's, but he should be able to restrain Thor. He's restrained Etrigan, and the consensus on the vine is Etrigan>Thor. Direct hits from Mjlnor should handle most of them bar the insanely powerful ones which Thor can't even dent(I'm talking about green gorillas that can grapple with Mordru).

That's not even counting Alans size manipulation, time manipulation, and matter manipulation. Most human lanterns beat Thor, Alan is completely out of his world
