Current Thor without hammer vs Magneto

One does not simply hold together without electromagnetism.

Mags still stomps Thor.

Thor doesn't have anything that can really pierce Magneto's force field, therefore he would win.

Why and how?

I am a huge fan of Thor but you Thor-fanatics are something else. Magneto wins against a hammerless Thor...heck Magneto has a decent chance to defeat Thor when he has his hammer since Mjolnir is metal.

Magneto wins around 7 out of 10 times against a hammerless Thor.

However, Thor wins 6 out of 10 times when he has his hammer....and Magneto only takes these 4 battles because Thor's greatest weapon can easily become his greatest liability against Magneto.

I prefer Thor but seeing as magneto can control the em spectrum shouldn't he be able to handle Thor's lightning. He also has aerial advantage and Thor even wears metal armour into battle.

What is Thor without his hammer? Magneto wins this with ease.

Can he fly without his hammer? Concerning issues raised here on the thread if he does need his hammer for flight....well that's something that is very debatable.

Ok now putting that aside, can Thor "jump" to high levels like "for say" Superman (as in leap over tall buildings in a single bound) or leap like the Hulk if he can't fly? And that is without the aid of his hammer? Hmmm, let's see here:

@alligatian: he can fly and use abilities without the hammer. Scans on the net available easy which, in narrator panels, point out that thor isn't in need of mjolnir to use his abilities, plus others which displays thor flying without mjolnir.

Agreed but you have to know he has feats where it's stated on panel (and sometimes by himself) that he does need his hammer to flyand I can post quite a few scans to back this. Like I said before, it depends on the writer.
