Thanos. Old Thanos laughed at Odins powers. Plus it was Odin and Surfer vs Odin. One on one (current Thanos) wins.

I would have to say in Asgard,Odin would still win but Gugnir did turn the tide in their first battle.But Thanos is far to smart to let the same weapon beat him twice.Thanos power is sky father level now,In fact it just seems to get greater as the years pass.And even Odin(who is the most powerful sky father I.M.O)Would now lose to Thanos,in a long draughn out epic battle.

Thanos still isn't on Odin's level..he can tank quite a bit of damage but as far dishing out enough damage to hurt Odin he can't compare.

Not sure why this outcome would be any different than it was when they fought before.

Pfft Current Odin is a joke, could not even lift or destroy Mjolnir.

And before you start bitching, yes i know that Mjolnir was made by Odin and he could wish it out of existence or cancel spell on it, but current one can't even do that.

Let's not forget that Odin headbutt and cracked Galactus Astral form, arguably PIS though.

Old or new version does not make much of a difference as Odin is still vastly more powerful character of the two.

Wow I can`t believe,all of the Odin answers,I know even Surtur said his powers are beyond belief.But thanos powers have grown through Death and other means since than,and I think that battle happened on the rainbow bridge to Asgard.in neutral territory,I think Thanos can now barely eclipse Odin.And I am and always will be a big Odin fan!

Classic Odin was close to Galactus. Contemporary Odin is certainly not.

I know that Odin was begged during The Infinity Gauntlet and the 1990s. I havennt seen him nerfed anymore than Galactus in the last ten years.

@jagernutt: During Fraction's run, Odin head-butted Galactus and KO'd himself, comparatively Galactus got up by the next page with relatively little damage.

How about this. Instead of what Odin did to Galactus. How about you tell me what Galactus did to put down Odin.

@jagernutt: I'm not trying to use it against Odin. Odin is a multi-Galaxy Buster, I very much acknowledge his power.

I do however, cite that example because it's a contrast in the power between Galactus and Odin.
