Current Strange VS Sentry

Random encounter that takes place in an uninhibited planet. Both characters are bloodlusted. Sentry can go Void. No outside help. Who wins and why?

He reformed three times instantly in Dark Avengers, and once when Sentry was killed with Marvell's gun.

I promise I can lowball worse if you want. An unstable Sentry already defeated Dr. Strange, at a time when the Sentry laidd down and allowed Strange to ensnare him with his magic.

Plus Dr. Strange allied himself with the Avengers, the X-Men, The Inhumans and Black Bolt, The Fantastic Four, Namor and Shield, and they were still no match for the Void in New Avengers. They all had a ton of prep as well.

Strange even said that he is more fearful of the Void than he is of God.

He also said that Sentry/ Void would destroy the universe.

Strange need prep, artifacts, an outside help to win here.

The Sentry doesn't need to be the Void in order for him to reform. He was the Sentry when he instantly reformed everytime I mentioned above.

Sentry at the beginning of the MM fight took a handful of panels to reform. This was because he was just learning his new powers, just like he said in the comics. The list time MM brought Sentry into the air and ripped him to pieces, Sentry reformed in the next scan. It was either the next one or the one after that. Basically instant. More instant than anyone else in Marvel has shown to reform themselves on a constant basis.

Strange couldn't blast the Sentry to pieces, anyways. He's already used magic on him, and the Sentry just shrugged it off.

Sentry and Photon, when they fought in the New Thunderbolts, was releasing power that would of destroyed multiple worlds. This is why they took the fight to the Microverse. Sentry took this power like it was nothing.

Strange doesn't have anything for the Sentry.

Sentry would just speedlitz Strange before he could even think about murmuring a word. This is bloodlusted fight, and the Sentry has speedblitzed all of Asgard before Thor could even let out a word. Then the Sentry would rip him to pieces, just like he has done to symbiotes, Gods, etc.

I don't get how this a stomp. Current Strange is disintegrating people with words and soloed the Great Society without breaking sweat. I get that Sentry could just come back but he has admitted himself that he has died before. Can someone explain?

@sly_141: Nah, that's basically all there is to get; it's popularly upheld that if Sentry's killed/taken out, he'll pop right back up in less time it takes you to say "wack a mole".

Strange isn't stomping without prep or artifacts. Sentry could just speedblitz him with little effort.

Sentry will win a solid majority against Strange. He's basically unkillable....and his speed and reaction advantage over Strange is enormous.

@pooty: He was. It seems like his auto-shields should have prevented that. Slightly PIS (they needed a non-lethal way to take down Strange and the team was pretty wrecked after tangling with The Great Society).

Current Strange hasn't really demonstrated any feats (post Battleworld). Pre-Battleworld he had the Words (all of 'em), Demon Possession (the thing that allowed him to wreck TGS), Blood Bible knowledge, all his regular items/artifacts as Sorcerer Supreme, and seemed to be in top form. I'm pretty sure the Words would allow him to literally unmake The Sentry. The Words allowed The Black Priests to annihilate the defenders of many alternate earths and to blow up those planets. What is to stop him from summoning the Vishanti to three-way devour his body and soul?

Where exactly does The Void rank in the power hierarchy? Skyfather? Above?

I'm leaning Strange.

@nothingclever: In our reality The Void conquered Earth once. Recently Sentry defeated Molecule Man. Sentry is above Silver Surfer. He does have some high feats like destroying planets. In an "What if" where Uatu said it was exactly like our world. Sentry again took over the world and even conquered Asgard. I think he beat Odin. With bloodlust, it really depends who gets first attack. I could see either of them winning

@pooty: Thanks. I read The SIege and Dark Avengers and while The Sentry going full Void seems pretty epic but beating Odin seems like PIS. His fight against Molecule Man was really PIS.

Strange's auto-shields should protect him long enough to us a Word or two and some spells from some forbidden book.

I would love to see the demon possessing Strange vs The Void.

I dont read much Strange. I've heard of the auto-shields but rarely see them being.....automatic. do you have any scans?

Sentry is above Molecule Man who is Cosmic Cubes,that puts Sentry low-mid Celestial level.

And for people who don't know Void is just a symptom of Bob's shizophrenia,and Void doesn't have even a half of Bob's power.When Bob(Sentry) is stable he curbstomped Void with ease,even when he is stable he is mentally ill so not at full power,and has to hold Void in control,while Death seed Sentry is the most powerful version because no Void,no mental illness and he is stable.That's why DSS>Stable Sentry(because even when he is stable he is still menatlly ill and needs to hold the Void so not at full power).And for who don't know Death seed freed Sentry's mind from mental illness(no Void no problems) and unlocked full potential.It didn't boost Sentry's power only freed his mind and unlocked potential.

And being freed from mental ilness(no Void to check and instability,so at full power),i put that version of Sentry at mid-high celestial level.

But for this battle dunno who wins.

It's a good question.

Between high herald and low - mid tier transcendant I guess.

He has some weaknesses.

A spell of silence disabled his spellcasting against Dr Doom.

I thought current strange is above skyfathers,if he is high heral level,Sentry wins,even stomps.

I don't know exactly.

He don't have the physicals of a skyfather and he has weaknesses that Skyfathers don't have.

Seems Strange is overrated.

Maybe ^^

But still not as overrated as Flash.
