Deathstroke is superior to Luke Cage in many ways but the latter's physical superiority is too much for him to overcome, i think. Swords and guns wont do much to him, and Deathstroke can't outsmart his fists forever.
So how small are the chances that a professional merc like DS is not carrying some kind of smoke or gas grenade or pellet in case he needs cover from gun fire or needs to pacify someone in a hurry?
And with it only being Luke's skin that's indestructible, what are the chances of him choking on either grenades after DC notes how his sword isn't doing anything. (He already faced a man who regenerated faster than Wolverine and still managed to kill him).
Plus there is that small item that Slade is still trained in combat and has used that a lot longer than Luke's been making do with his.
@outside_85: If deathstroke killed someone who "regenerated faster than Wolverine", then how did that person die? Wolverine tanked a nuke, DS doesn't have that kind of output.
@jacthripper: The man could regenerate from anything as long as he wanted to. What DS did was setting an entire village on him, which he couldn't handle, so rather than live through years of torture at the hands of the villagers he chose to die. Deathstroke didn't beat out the healing, he out-thought it.
@jacthripper: Maybe not, but just because DS has to abandon his sword and gun, doesn't mean he can't pull off a win, he just has to work a little harder to do it.
