Darth Sidious orders Dooku to bring him the symbiot so that he may turn it into a sith weapon. Count Dooku hunts down Venom but before he can collect a sample he has to kill its current host.(Eddie Brock)

Dooku has all the edges, Brocks strength is outmatched by Dooku's tk which is probably in the 50 to 80 ton range compared with Venom's upper limit of 25. Venom, who's stated to have worse reflexes than Spider-man and no spider sense, can not keep up with an excess of 20 strikes per second, In fact the main edges Venom had over Spiderman was strength and the ability to bypass the spider sense, he can't do the same with Dooku's force based Clairvoyance.

Basically, Dooku trashes him.

Dooku levitates Brock into the air, and then throws a lightsaber threw him until he dies.

Dooku bisects Venom and electrifies him.
