Megatron gets smashed to pieces. Colossus is more articulate, and definitely stronger. A better fight would have ol' Metalbutt going up against the Constructicons.

Where did this "fanboy" ignorance come from? If anything, you guys are the fanboys. You know nothing of the comic megatron, do you? He's far above 100 tons in strength and add in his extra weapons, he'll win.
I would say colossus but I've heard Transformers in the comic books are really strong so until somebody that reads Transformers comes along I'll make my judgment then.
Megatron has serious firepower he very strong and he is extremly intelligent. In all hail megatron he held is own against devastator in the IDW run he took on a powerd up starscream and beat has if he was nothing. Megatron fussion cannon acts has a nuclear fussion which draws various atoms and then release it has nuclear energy he can further increase the power of his fussion cannon by drawing energy from the black hole which allows him fire anti matter energy which is more powerful then his normal fussion cannon blast. Colssus might be able to hurt Megatron but Megatron is to skilled he has thounsand of years of hand to hand combat fighting due being a Gladiator and he is the greatest pit fighter in cybertron.
Question IMO is ... how much damage can megatrons lasers in human-like transformation do? If it can harm colossus megatron wins. If not ... (megatron gun form doesn't count ... as unless I am mistaken (thinking old school transformers) mega tron needs someone to fire him in gun transformation). If in human-like transformation megatron can pick him apart shooting him while in flight ... assuming it hurts colossus. If it goes hand to hand colossus owns.
I think Megatron could match Colossus in strength and invulnerability and his arm cannon would wreck Colossus. The TV cartoon Megatron was semi-weak, but the comics (and card on the back of the toy) versions were tough.

Colossus beating Sentinels isn't his only feat, He has wailed on Juggernaut, knocking him down and such.....I'm pretty sure Cytorrak > Decepticon

O I kno that, I'm just sayin I don't read transformers but in the movie they were damaged by human weapons so even regular colossus would tear through them like a can let alone current colossus. So the only chance is if their stronger in the comics

The movie is not really related to the cannon real Transformers. It's like comparing Juggernaut from X3 vs Cannon Classic 616 Juggernaut.
@GLforHIRE: this is generation 1 megatron, not michael bayformmers megatron, gen 1 megatron has a fusion cannon capable of destroying a small planet if need be. he can fly and create shields! in episode 1 starscream fired at megatron with his back turned, soundwave shouted to megatron . megatrun turned around creating a energy shield blocking starscrems blast with super reaction.
His energy cannon will kill collossus! or he can form a energy mace or other weapons they dont call him megatron for nothing
