Cloud Strife - streetlevel or above? (Please read the OP)

Am I a fanboy for thinking he's the strongest videogame character, and/or can compete with comicbook characters?

Please explain your post. I don't care if you merely write just a complete one sentence reason saying you plain think he's not that good and provide no evidence or reasoning. Just please please please give more than a post such as "Cloud gets stomped" or "Cloud sucks" when you reply. Thanks. I want a debate and/or a discussion, not name-dropping and one word posts.

hes above street level, he saved a whole planet from destruction, hes beaten monsters that can destroy the planet, like the ultima weapon, i would say hes city, or state level

i think he can compete with comic characters as well, he can use magic, summoning, limit break, items, basically everything in the game, and in the movie

Not the strongest video game character for sure, but he's definitely strong. How strong I'm not sure, been a long ass time since I played the game.

@ReVamp: I can't decide if I like vanilla Advent Children better than Advent Children Complete on Blu-ray or not.

Well above street level, but not the strongest video game character out there.  
 
That said, he's extremely fast, strong, agile and has a potency for magic. In combat, you'd have to be faster and stronger than Spider-Man to best him. He could probably take down someone like the Hulk, really. 
 
Big Guard + Omnislash = Dead anything without extremely high durability. 

@ReVamp: About a half-hour's worth of extra movie, and the fight at the end plays out a bit differently.

Yah he's pretty OP compared to some marvel heroes.

I believe his fights in Advent Children prove that he's well above street level, he may not be the strongest video game character, but he's certainly stronger than a lot of them.

He's pretty cool character but not the strongest videogame character. He strong, very fast, agile, and good at using magic. He could take down some Marvel and DC characters for sure including streetlevels character as well. He written very well and is a consisted character. He use his head properly and fight with his head on his shoulders. The strongest videogame character mite go to one of the DBZ characters. Very interest character indeed.

As far as DBZ characters in videogames? I consider them Manga/Anime characters primarily. I have no doubt they're stronger than Cloud.

Cloud at his maxed out potential surpasses Dante in my opinion. He could stop time, slow it down or speed it up. Cast every element known to nature and even absorb them. Can instantly heal people at full strength. Summon monsters who are city busters and is one with the Life Stream.

 @The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia: You're not a fan boy but I'd like to know why you think so. There are 4 RPG characters who come to mind that can beat him. Those being Ryu from Breath of Fire , Yuri Hyuga from Shadow Hearts (who has killed gods in his universe) Fei Fong Wong (who has also killed a god) and Ashley Winchester (He stopped a demon god from swallowing his universe.)

I actually think Vincent at the end of Dirge of Cerberus became more powerful than Cloud. KOS-MOS and chaos from the Xenosaga series are also very powerful.

cloud is strong and he's around city level and he has very good durability but my strongest video game character would be zeus(GOW)

Yeah, he learned to control Chaos which was related to Omega. Chaos was supposed to wipe out all life on the planet.

He's way above street level. He's at least around town level in terms of destructive ability.

He is definitely above street level. He can give Sephiroth a good fight.

Cloud is nowhere near street-level. And by that i mean he's way above it. Even with zero or little materia, he's still above street-level.
