Wolverine, as Gambit would later die from lung cancer...while Logan would heal most likely.

Well both of them are heavy smokers. I know that Wolverine's HF will prevent him from passing out, but the objective is who can smoke the most the fastest. They can put multiple cigs in their mouth if they have to.

Well knowing Gambit's sarcasm and Logan's temper, it will end up in a battle.

Ok all i'm saying is, if I made a thread based off a smoking contest, eating contest, drinking contest or whatever, I'd put it probably on the off-topic catagory.

Alot of people do arm wresting, racing, and other contests on these probably because "Vs" in the title. So I'm just following the bandwagon.

Healing factor takes care of the toxins and asphyxiation and nicotine overdose.

Wolverine wins.

Ok so I edited it to 200 cigarettes. Each pack contains 20 so that's like 10 packs of cigarettes in under 1 hour. I'm sure gambit can take it up to the end.

Healing factor won't do anything for this.

How can a healing factor help lack of oxygen?

It will protect his cells from the damage cause by low oxygen levels and protect it them from the damage caused by oxidation from too much CO2 build-up by healing the cells.

It's Wolverine. Do we need to ask? He's has his throat ripped out and was thrown in a river for an unspecified amount of time. His body seems to be fine with the oxygen it already has at least for an extended period of time.

So Wolverine can actually pass out here given the scenario?

@god_spawn@TheSwordsman: He was also nearly drowned and has actually shown that he needs oxygen at several periods.

I don't think that's likely. But really, this is a silly thread.

@Ferro Vida: I'm not going to argue that he doesn't need oxygen cause I know he does. However to really think he can't deal with smoke is a little silly IMO and can't go extended periods of time without oxygen cause of his HF, he has several times, Interesting note though is I believe the whole drowning/lack of oxygen thing was changed up not that long ago and Erik explained it to me that Wolverine fears drowning not because he would die, but because he would be weighed down and his healing factor would constantly keep bringing him back so he would basically be stuck in a perpetual drowning limbo.

Isn't this what you told me before?

Yeah I am the source for that and it was from Wolverine: Weapon X where it stated it.
