Chunin Exams Arc Sasuke vs Gaiden Kakashi

Sasuke wins. Skill wise, Kakashi is much better, but Sasuke still has superior powers and abilities. Sasuke's curse mark might make the difference though. If the curse mark is working right for him, then Sasuke takes this, otherwise, Kakashi.

@generator2000: Sasuke isn't allowed to use the curse mark. Wolverine you should update the OP with that.

Sasuke has better feats in almost every category.

@princearagorn1: I'm flip flopping. They are about even. I'd give it to Sasuke, but only if it;s very end of Chunnin Arc Sasuke.

I'd still give it to Kakashi.

He demonstrates some speed, very good agility and tactical skill here:

Defeated a young Yamato, while he was holding back and Yamato was going all out:

And his Earth Wall should defend against Sasuke fire attacks:

Speed and stamina between the two are about equal.

Sasuke has greater range ability, while Kakashi has the means to counter.

Kakashi's lightning blade should be stronger, given that by the time he fought Orochimaru, he was using Raikiri (Chidori's stronger variant).

Kakashi has the superior tactical mind and is more skilled, so that's what'll give him the win here, along with a more powerful Lightning Blade. The sword helps a lot, too.

Sasuke and Kakashi should have about the same level of speed and skill

but because of strategy and being a bit smarter in a fight Kakashi Gaiden arc should win mid difficulty

With filler feats Kakashi stomps Sasuke. He's shown multiple jutsu of different variety and his use of clones and tactical skill would easily overwhelm him. All you have is a statement saying Sasuke is about as fast as unweighted lee...whereas we see Kakashi and Guy sparring in higher level taijutsu casually.....

You could give Sasuke CS1 and he'd still lose by a very convincable margin.
