both at full power. Can also be used feats from Demonbane for Nyarlathotep. For info on Nyarlathotep see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyarlathotep, and also check the Outer God page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outer_God for further info. So who takes it ?

Chthon.Noone below LT should be put in a fight against this guy.It took the combined might of the other Elder Gods to banish him and The Vishanti who have only 1 Elder God member have been shown to show little respect for the LT.

Bah, they were scared of Cyttorak, elder gods are nothing to LT.

yet Cyttorak has never displayed any feat comparable to that of any Elder God.. the Vishanti were not scared of Cyttorak in the conventional sense, but rather, they would not want to cross his path because of his destructive nature.. but that doesn't mean they are less powerful than him.. the Vishanti has faced threats as big as Shuma-Gorath and Slorioth, both has more credible feats than Cyttorak can ever muster.. but you are correct though that Elder Gods are nowhere near LT's level, but one thing is, the Vishanti was able to directly summon LT even in a realm not of their own..

true enough.. but some characters has shown significant feats even when appearing in 5 or less issues.. such as Agamotto and Gaea.. most of Cyttorak's feats can only be based on his avatar Juggernaut.. and if we would compared the feats of Cyttorak and Chthon's avatars, Chthon wins hands down due to the feats displayed by the mortal who possesses a mere fraction of his power, the Scarlet Witch..

but most of them are insignificant.. her only impressive feats were shown in two or three issues, one is on Doctor Strange II #8-9 where she banished Dormammu and Chaos War #4 where she gave Hercules the power and mastery of the nigh-omnipotent powers in order to defeat the Chaos King.. most of her other appearance are either cameo or virtually feat-less..

Marquis of Death had only 16 issues and Abraxas only 9. And they still are universal level threats.

What was the name of the issue when the "Death" ran away from Gaea? I cannot remember.

true enough.. Chaos War somewhat messed up the cosmic hierarchy like revealing Gaea to be the fountain head of creation and all life in the multiverse and her being the first being to be born out of the chaos which was Amatsu-Mikaboshi.. nevertheless, Elder Gods are indeed power in their own right, comparable to any cosmic abstracts.. Elder Gods are far more powerful than most characters associated with the cosmic pantheon such as Mephisto, which was always present in most cosmic tribunals and Dormammu, who possess sufficient power to challenge Eternity himself.. Agamotto alone, who is an Elder Spawn being the child of the Elder Goddess Oshtur is of sufficient power to held his own against Galactus himself..

Elder Gods, even though only spawned from the Earth possesses power on at-least a universal scale or even beyond.. Set is capable of influencing alternate universes through the Serpent Crown which are found in all realities in the multiverse, and all of these crowns are powered by him.. Oshtur, the most powerful member of the Vishanti and often refer to as "omnipotent", when combined with Agamotto and Hoggoth can destroy an entire universe with just the release of excess macro cosmic energies from them and their enemy Slorioth, a being powerful enough to destroy a universe or thousands more.. Chthon, who gave a mere fraction to Wanda Maximoff enabled her to cast her spell over billions of souls, over worlds and dimensions, affecting alternate realities and shifting all the possible future timelines in the Marvel Continuity and Eternity himself feared that if Chthon was not stopped, all of reality will fall before him..

i always view Elder Gods on-par with some cosmic abstracts but not on the level of Eternity and Death.. Chaos War redefined all that..

i think it was the Chaos King which Death ran from, not Gaea..

but the Chaos King views Gaea as his oldest and greatest foe and it was through Gaea that the Chaos King was defeated..
