Going with the Tau.
Broadsides with all their armaments could probably one-shot those serpent things. They cut through terminators and Land Raiders like butter and they are more durable than those serpent things.
Besides: Basic Tau pulse weapons>>>>>>Movie Iron Man weapons.
im going for the Tau in this scenario.Great team work will win the day & thats one thing the Tau do very well because most of the time their out numbered in the 40K uni..

40K wins, again.
I now take it upon myself to find a battle that 40k loses but in a very close fight not a stomp for the other side!!!!!! This may take a while lol!!!! I will prove it can be done even if it kills me!!!!
@texasdeathmatch: I for one hate to see 40k lose.... ever. But I too will take the casue along with strider. Stay tune fo a few minuets......
@texasdeathmatch: I had previously thought of the JLA Vs Primarchs but then I refreshed my memory on the Primarch's high end feats and well.....it wouldn't end well for the JLA
@texasdeathmatch: I'm trying right now to think up a good balanced match but right now this pretty sums up my feelings:
@texasdeathmatch: Well considering some of those swords and axes are coated in molecular disrupting force-fields I think we can look past their crude design lol!

@Strider92: ...eh, I guess that would make for a very boring tabletop game, haha.
Pretty much.
40k Lore>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Tabletop abilities.
Going by the lore you wouldn't need anyone else but Kharn or Ahzek to beat armies of Tyranids or Orks lol. So yes it would be boring!
Plus the people in 40k are not rational, they don't see things in the same terms we do.
Being raised by a religious empire that indoctrinates you to believe machines work because of the spirit inside them, doesn't really equip you to make efficient choices.
Hah interesting. I really want to get into the 40K literature, it just seems so...dense. And exhausting.
@texasdeathmatch: Dan Abbots Gaunt's Ghost's series is a good place to start for beginners. I think there's about 6 novels in total the first one being called "First And Only". Its the series that has sold the most copies out of all the books and seems to be the most beginner friendly.

I made the mistake of picking up Dark Adeptus as my first novel and although it was good after I re-read it I had trouble coming to grips with it the first time round lol! 40k lore and concepts can be quite hard to grasp.
I'm still waiting for them to release a book seen through the eyes of an Emperor's Champion. Those guys have the most awesome armor!:
@texasdeathmatch: The Gaunt's Ghost is series is varied in quality like most of Dan Abnett's work. I would advise skipping to the last three books, honestly just read the Omnibus.
His Eisenhorn trilogy is good, very consistent in quality.
Ravenor is okay, the third book is good the first two are meh.
His space marine books range from good to terrible. Prospero Burns was one of the worst 40k books I have ever read.
Nick Kyme is very good, his Tome of Fire trilogy is some of the best Space Marine fiction I've read. But I haven't read his other books.
Sandy Mitchell's Commissar Cain novels are amazing, great reads. They have action, adventure, romance, and they are really funny to boot. His other 40k books are okay. Stick to the stories of Commissar Cain HERO OF THE IMPERIUM!
Aaron Dembski-Bowden's books have a good reputation, but I cannot say anything about them beyond that because I haven't had a chance to read them yet.
Good luck and enjoy!
@texasdeathmatch: Forget I said anything @Lady_Liberty: hit the nail on the head with Eisenhorn and Commissar Cain. Don't know how I overlooked those!!

That pic is amazing, by the way. Love it.
I wish there was a side view, looks like he's got a 'Haters gonna hate' pose going on.
@texasdeathmatch: PLEASE... PLEASE read Horus Heresy Novels. There Brillaint. There well written. They have amazing scenes and battles in them. Thats where you start.
@texasdeathmatch: Im telling ya the HH Novels are all best to start as they actually underline everything that happens there after. Also Very User Friendly.
@strider92: come on how is this even fair strider XD
