Each of the human can solo at this point, except for maybe chiatzou.

@amendment50: I assume by Saiyan Saga it means before they left for space to fight Frieza? Humans win.

We know that they trained with King Kai (or for Krillin he also had powers unlocked on Namek) and they sustained fighting against Androids and Cell jr.

Taking from the show, Vegeta clocked Goku's power around 25,000 when they fought, Nappa's was around 4,000 and Gohan's was around 3,000 but we also know that from the show Captain Ginyu said that Goku's power level was over 100,000 so that means it kept growing after that as would the humans who were training with Kai and after for the Androids arrival and the Androids had to be more powerful than Frieza so the humans had to at least reach close to Frieza's level, therefore being at least 10 to almost 20 times stronger than Saiyans from the Saiyan Sage.

Oh God yeah each human can take them out single handedly

Wow, didn't expect such a heavy response in favor of the humans.

How could I make this less of a mismatch?

Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu, post-Namek but pre-Android training vs Saiyans during the Frieza Saga would probably put them closest. It was really after the Frieza saga where the Saiyans started to overshadow humans to the point they almost became useless.

At least during the Frieza saga they helped some and Piccolo too but after that it was all about Super Saiyan and reaching a level beyond.

Chiatzu is a vampire and Tien is part of some triclops clan, neither are human. Anyways, team human wins.

@amendment50: What natural born human has white skin or three eyes? Toriyama based a lot of dbz off of chinese mythology and chiaotzu looks like a chinese vampire. The 4th Daizenshuu said Tian's abilities are race/heritage based.

Originally Tenshinhan's third eye is part of some sort of "ilumination" ritual. like, you know, opening his third eye in a more literal way. I think he even mention this in DB vanilla. But i have no scans of that so...

The third eye thing comes from buddism and chinese mythology as a form enlightenment. That isn't a litteral eye though, it's always depicted like this

@highaccuser: how do the saiyans win? Krillin in the freeza saga was able to actually fight evenly with ginyu-goku, with his power steadily rising to the point that even vegeta states that with both Krillin and gohan's help they can beat freeza (when he was in his first form). He only continued on training for three years to fight the androids

He had help from Gohan who's considerably more useful than he is. I think Vegeta had himself primarily in mind when he said they could beat Frieza.

Are you saying that's not Krillin fighting evenly with him? (And even then, he was holding back)

Of course vegeta was primarily thinking of himself, he's still the strongest out of the three. but if you're useless, he'll make that clear (he kills zarbon because he considered that if all it took to beat freeza was working with him, it'd be too easy)

By Krillin's own admission it was because Ginyu was unused to his new body.

Ginyu-Goku was still 23,000, and Krillin was able to fight evenly with him (while holding back)

Ginyu being unused to the body was referring to him being unable to unlock the full extent of goku's power, he still was 23,000

Either Tien or Krillin solos even if Nappa or Vegeta was in Oozuro form

They can beat the Ginyu Force in Frieza Saga

Wasn't Yamcha dies because he was Goku Saiyan Saga level during this time period, pretty sure it was explicit stated during the fight with Gero. And Yamcha has no Kaio Ken to back him up. He's not even planet bust at this level tbh. Vegeta put all of his energy into an attack that would max planet bust, and Goku was not stronger than Vegeta without multiplying his power level by like, 4.

Have you seen Tien, Yamcha and Chiaotzu beat Ginyu Force ? And they continues improve so much after that. In Cell Saga accodding to my oppinion, they even above level of final form Frieza.

@tungbuiduy: You have a wrong opinion then. Base Saiyans even at the time of Super were stated to be weaker than Namek Final Form Freeza, so that means the same for the Earthlings. The Ginyu stuff, while nice, was filler.

Anyway, Krillin or Tenshinhan can solo.
