Celestials
Celestials vs Team
@homicidalmaniac: Scathan was never more powerful than the Living Tribunal; he just dissaproved of Protege's power.
Scathan defeating Protege while becoming more powerful than LT and why doesn't that make Scathan more powerful?
@killemall I'm curious to know your full opinion of this topic
My opinion is the the story is weird and doesnt fit the chronology , but Scanthan had to be more powerful than LT to be able to judge against a guy who had the power of Living Tribunal + Eternity + HawkGod + Beyonder + GOTG + Mephisto + Mephista + powers he had been collecting all the while. Not only that he physically restrains Protege long enough for LT to use the plot driven hour glass, which like Scanthan, was never heard of again.
After having done all this, Eternity waited for Scanthan to approve before they could move on. Scanthan evidently had the final , say on a matter performed by LT who had to sit there and wait for him.
Weird, perhaps the writer on high on drugs, but thats what happened.
@killemall: I get what you mean, but a Celestial being more powerful than a the judge of the multiverse.
Not to mention that his name is Scathan the Approver, so if he doesn't Approve it doesn't happen; I personally thinks it means he lives up to his name rather than the writer making out a Celestial is more powerful than Protege and the Living Tribunal.
@homicidalmaniac I understand what you mean by all that, but still. LT power directly come from TOAA.
@kingant27: Well he personally did restrain Protege physically despite all his powers. And when you think about it, would LT really let someone weaker than him be the judge of LT's own action. LT not only actively awaited for Scanthan's arrival in the story, after LT sealed Protege forever they waited for Scanthan's approval.
@killemall: True, but they made him sound like a plot device; which he kind of was, because we all know the Living Tribunal surpasses him but IMO no Celestial would surpass the Living Tribunal, which means that he must technically live up to his name as Scathan the 'Approver', instead of being more powerful than him.
scathan disproves them
@etheral_dreams: if you want
Team loses badly to any named Celestial.
Possibly even to some no-named celestials as well, like the one that had Kubik and Kosmos sh!tn bricks if the celestial would even notice them.
