This is just show you that Superman cannot move planets, or moons. Yes he can destroy them, but not move them.
Superman has never moved a planet or a moon without aid. He has failed to move moons with the same mass or even lower by himself.
- Failed to stop a moon even with several Kryptonians helping him.
-Stuggling to pull the moon even with the aid of Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and a whole Team of magic users.
-After being powered by Strange Visitor and a sundip he struggled moving Warworld which is only the size of Pluto (smaller than Earths moon). Brainiac even states Kal normally wouldn't have the strength to move that.
"Superman can move at Light speed"
To start things off. I already know Thor is at a disadvantage here, because Superman is faster, but Thor makes up for it in other things. Since this battle is morals off, random encounter, and in character Superman won't try, and speedblitz Thor right off th bat. Superman will see how powerful his opponet is first by brawling him Hulk style, which Thor is good at. Once Superman see's how hard Thor hits, he's going to try harder, and harder, until he speed-blitzes. Which in my opinion won't put down Thor. I will be showning reasons later for this. For now i'm going to show some feats of strength, durability, and abilites of Thor, and compare them to those of Superman's to shown you how Thor can react to them, or even counter them if he wanted too.
Strength/Striking
Durability
Abilites/Powers
TravelSpeed/ReactionSpeed

Taken from Superman: New World of Krypton 7

Taken from: JLA 58

Taken from: Superman v2 173 & Action Comics 782
-The most popular scan which looks like it is depicted as Superman moving 1/3 of the Earth. This however is completely out of context.
Superman, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter failed to move the Earth it was actually Kyle who moved it with help.

Damn
What you're (and by that, I mean Binder_full_of_Woman) is trying to say is, that due to a few feats where he fails to/needed help to move things, then that means he can't.
First off, New World of Krypton is a rather unreliable source. The Kryptonian powers were rather broken in that arc. Also, in the Earth moving feat, the JLA actually did manage to get Earth somewhat under control before Kyle came, as stated by Atom.

I can counter these scans with scans of where he did indeed move objects of that magnitude.

1. Superman has also carried a prison complex the size of Stryker's Island into space, until it became a comet, which is more impressive than Thor's, since he was basically just towing the island along, rather than lifting it up.

2. I think it can be said that Odin was holding back against his son. Odin is clearly more powerful than Thor is.
3. Superman is said to hit with enough force to destroy a small planet
http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/6/60228/1806810-trinity05003vl7_super.jpg
4. Would this be the kingdom of Asgard, or the dimension itself? Because if it's just the kingdom, Superman has lifted heavier, as seen in my previous scan.
5. Superman has punched Lobo straight into orbit
And he's also compressed and hurled an explosion into the sun

Punches Wonder Woman all the way from the sun to the Earth

2. Superman has done so also, surviving the collision of New Genesis and Apokolips, as seen in the previous scans. And this was after he took a beating from an amped Darkseid.
Tanks the explosion of War World.

5. Superman can also survive in a sun that does not power him

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/12/125071/2604491-s1te3.jpg
6. I'm not trying to put down this feat or anything, but that's not really impressive. Many people have done so, including street levelers like Bucky Barnes.
Okay, now to get on to the main part of my debate. I think Superman strength and durability, which is on par with Thor's, combined with his superior speed will give him the win.
Like Flash, Superman can vibrate his molecules to the point of becoming intangible. He could phase through anything that Thor throws at him.

Along with this, Superman's reaction speed is better, as evidenced when he raced Jay Garrick across a populated area.
And he's easily able to match and even surpass Wonder Woman's combat speed.

He BFRs Parasite before the Injustice League can even react.

@ImmortalOne: I'm too busy to get the debate started. Give me until atleast tomorrow at around 7:00, maybe earlier. Also when Thor hit Odin, how does being more than someone say they can't be hurt? Just because Odin was holding back, doesn't mean his durability does too. Which it does not. You don't control your durability. You have to remember Mjolnir is a Skyfather level weapon, meant to first be used by Odin, until Thor came along, and became the rightful user. You also have to remember it's not like Thor punch Odin, but smacked him with said hammer Mjolnir.
@Alyssabird said:
speed blitz vs durability/time stop, that's all this battle is
Speed blitz, man I hate that. Also Thor lost his time manipulation powers.
@ThunderGodsWrath said:
@ImmortalOne: You win. Thor simply can't beat Superman.
Nice debate, you had a pretty solid argument.
