CaV: KnightofZero (Ryuko) vs GodTriggerHulk (Dante)

"Dante", asked Trish, "Why did you just shoot at the camera?"
"I'm done with video games. Crap pay, endless sequels, no nude scenes. I'm moving on to anime" replied Dante.

"I'm not going back to another high school anime drama. I'm out", says Lady.

"Fine", says dante, "To the dante-mobile!"

20 minutes later...

"Alright, Dante, i'll bite. where are we going?" asked Trish

"I got a job in Japan. Honnouji academy has had a sting of destructive actions. Someone has been causing trouble." replied dante.

Ryuko sat around a coffee table with her friend, Mako. They were finally enjoying some downtime after Ryuko defeated her mother, Raygo in space.

"Gee", said mako, "its great to finally get back to normal. I can't wait to get back to school now that i am a three star".

"Yeah", said Ryuko, with a melancholy look on her face. "I still miss senketsu. If it wasnt for him, we wouldnt be here now".

Suddenly, they hear an explosion outside, followed by the sound of a car crashing into a wall.

"Great Scott! I made it back in time!", the girls heard from outside

"What is going on?" asked ryuko, reading her scissor blades

Before them, stood a man with wild white hair and a white radiation suit.

"Ryuko, im so glad i found you in time".

"Who are you"?

"You dont know me yet, but my name is Dr. Emmett Brown. I come from the future"

"what do you mean?"

"i dont have time to explain. but i came to give you this."

Doc brown handed her a black and red sailor suit.

"Ryuko", said the suit "I'm so glad to see you again"

"Senketsu?!?!?! how are you alive?" asked ryuko

"never mind that now", interjected doc, "i've come to warn you about the future. In about 5 minutes, a man with a red tench coat and a large sword will approach you. he has been sent to kill you, but will fall madly in love with you. you become a common house wife, unable to leave the house, or vote, or do anything outside of cleaning up his empty pizza boxes".

"Congratulations, Ryuko, he seems like a nice guy", says Mako

"Hmm, alright, i'll have to stop him before that happens. I have a plan...."

"Ah, so this is the academy. seems nice" says dante. "now i have to find the cause of all the troub..."

There she was, a vision in black and red. Dante had always been a devil but now he'd found his angel. She was carrying pizza, in a box!

"Hey babe, is that for me?"

She slowly opened the box. What was inside? Meat lovers? Pepperoni? Strawberry ice cream?

It had to be a cruel joke. One that could not be forgiven.

"That pizza box is empty. Like your future will soon be", said dante, readying his sword.

"Alright senkestu, looks like we have to fight together once more" said ryuko

alright, i finally have some free time to work on this, so lets get this started. lets begin with some introductions:

Ryuko Matoi

Alright, before i go on, there are a few things i need to clear up, as i will be using these terms frequently:

Life Fibers

Life Fibers are sentient beings that evolved to become fabric like. They are the strongest material on the planet, being tougher than every other substance (steel, iron, cement, ect.) When they are worn as clothing, they increase the durability, speed, strength, reflexes, ect, of whoever is wearing it.

Life fibers are made into goku uniforms, which vary in strength, depending on the amount of life fibers put into them:

• 1 star goku uniforms are comprised of 10% life fibers
• 2 star = 20% life fiber
• 3 star = 30% life fiber

my appologize for the lack of subtitles, but basicly what is happening is that this kid (who obviously isn't at the top of his PE class), takes a One Star Goku Uniform (so, he is only exposed to 10% life fibers). This easily increases his speed to be able to easily dodge Ira Gamagori's attack (he even leaves after images as a result). The goku uniform also protects him (sorta) from enough physical trauma that he is still alive and conscious after being tossed around at high speeds and slammed into solid rock like a ragdoll. So

so, here you can see what 10% is capable of. now, lets look at senketsu, which is made entirely (100%) life fibers.

Just by wearing something that is 100% life fibers means that ryuko's speed and strength will be off the charts, but she gets progresevly stronger as the series continues, boosting her already huge stats even higher (but i'll get into that later).

Now, because life fibers are sentient being, senketsu is alife and is able to communicate to Ryuko (and only ryuko can hear him). This means that dante is going up against 2 different minds, capable of thinking and adapting at the same time (again, more on that in the actual showings of her stats).

This debate has many promises and the OP immediately had me hooked!

Dante:

Half demon and half human Dante lost his mother and brother to evil at a young age. Since then Dante has dedicated his life to destroying the demons that killed his mother and took his brother.

Dante's demonic blood and noble spirit have granted him massively enhanced strength, speed, durability and an amazing healing factor. Dante can also manipulate demonic energy to empower his guns, perform mid-air leaps and absorb the properties of Devil Arms (weapons created from defeated demons.

It's Dante's Devil Arms that give him versatility in combat, these will be elaborated upon in later posts.

Dante's style is to achieve total superiority over his enemy in combat , moving too fast for them to fight back and hammering them with savage yet well-timed and executed blows. This is just the tip of the iceberg though, in total Dante has five unique "styles" that he can utilize in this fight:

1) Trickster:

This style is focused on increasing speed and agility, one of it's key abilities is the maneuver "Air Trick," a move which sees Dante teleport in front of his target ready to attack. An excellent gap closer, Ryuko will have trouble fighting against an opponent who can strike unexpectedly.

You probably saw that the teleport wasn't super long range. That doesn't negate it's usefulness though. Ryuko is a close to mid-range fighter and a teleport blitz is always a problem, even if it doesn't come from the next state over.

2) Doppelganger:

This style allows Dante to create duplicate of himself to aid in battle. This copy can stick to the opponent Dante is fighting (effectively doubling his combat speed and destructive power) or can keep other foes off of Dante's back.

These are the styles with specific moves that I wanted to bring up for now, in-game stuff us great but it's also important to bring up feats, what good is Dante's ability to teleport or make a copy of himself if we don't know how strong or fast his resultant attacks will be? As such I'm going to start bringing up Dante's basic stats, starting with:

Durability:

Dante is famous for his ability to take an insane amount of punishment and keep on coming. And anything that does hit him or break his skin is most likely not going to leave much of a mark, thanks to Dante's insane healing factor.

Dante was struck by a bolt of lightning so powerful that it actually smashed a stone bridge to smithereens. I couldn't even begin to guess how much electrical energy is needed to break solid stone.

(2:35-3:28)

Here Dante is electrocuted by Trish's lightning (she's a creation of Mundus (Satan) so her lightning is demonic in nature), kicked and kneed in the head, stabbed in the chest by his own magic sword and then has even more of Trish's lightning channeled through his blade and into his body.

Even after all of that Dante is able to react to a motorcycle being thrown at him, when it was inches from his face, draw his pistols and shoot it across the room back at Trish. Dante then stands up and pulls the sword out of him like it was nothing, showing no signs of injury literally the moment after pulling the blade out.

Dante was impaled by Alastor, a lightning demon in the guise of a sword. Even after being stabbed smack in the chest and electrocuted Dante was able to rise from the floor, the demonic blade tearing into his flesh, heal instantly (no sign of damage) and tame the wicked weapon.

(7:49-8:40)

Dante is viciously stabbed by multiple Hell Prides, scythes buried in his flesh in multiple areas. Dante is completely unfazed, dispatching the Hell Prides while pulling the blades out of his body (which heals instantly) he even puts some music on.

(35:38-36:08)

Here Dante's sword Rebellion is moving at such high speeds that it's friction creates ignition (re-entry velocity.) Dante runs and catches up to it, meaning he would have to be going even faster, Dante tanks the G-forces and heat from such speed with no sign of discomfort or injury.

I'll probably add a bit more durability and of course elucidate his other stats and powers. But for now here is what I want you to have taken away:

1) Dante can use a short to mid-range teleportation maneuver in combat.

2) Dante can create a copy of himself to aid him.

3) Dante has high durability and a healing factor that allows him to recover from bodily harm nigh-instantaneously.

Dante's Durability Continued:

Oftentimes in comics, movies and games demons are lumped in with vampires and zombies in terms of being weak to head trauma. This simply isn't the case with Dante, being shot in the head twice leaves no ill effects.

This is a good example of Dante's ability to tank blunt force trauma. The Savior, a demonically empowered kaiju-sized golem, punches Dante and he meets the full force of the blow head on with no negative consequences.

Takeaways from this post:

1) Head/brain trauma is nothing to Dante.

2) Dante can take thousands of tons of physical force easily.

Also, because Dante doesn't wear a bikini armor.

On a more serious note though, after seing what just 10% armor is able to do, I'm leaning more towards Ryuko. Even though I absolutely loathe her design and the characters around her.

alright, dante has some cool stuff, but its nothing ryuko hasnt seen or dealt with before. I'll get into that in a later post. its getting late, so i will post some of ryuko's different "styles", along with her speed and durability:

Senketsu can take on different properties given the situation he is in. The 2 that he has shown to be able to use are"

Senketsu Blade Flash

In this form, she can make blades of varying sizes come out of any part of her body. She does prefer the wolverine style claws when ever she is un able to use her scissor blades (more on those later).

The transformation from normal to blade form is practically instantaneous, so she can switch between forms at very fast paces to alter her strategies and confuse dante.

my apologize that this video is in spanish, but it is the best one i could find.

So, if you go to 4:58:

you will see that Ryuko's life fiber blades that she can create can easily rip through Ira Gamagori's 3 star Goku uniform. Considering the amount of punishment that a 1 star goku uniform can take (being tossed around at high speeds, slammed into walls, Ira's suit is easily 3 times as strong.

But, lets take a better look to see how strong his suit is:

You can see at the start of the video that Ira is taking multiple shots from high caliber machine guns and feels nothing. They cant penetrate his goku uniform in the slightest.

Then at 0:22, 3 cars ram into him at high speeds, and not only does he sustain no damage what so ever, he isnt even moved by the force of the cars.

So, with this in mind, this shows that ryuko's blades (not even her best weapon) are stronger that machine guns and cars.

next we have:

Senketsu Gale

Now, this is something that ryuko has over dante: She can fly. Not only fly, but fly fast. How fast?

(This will cover a good portion of Ryuko's speed and reaction time)

0:00-0:11: We see how maneuverable Ryuko is, capable of out running Nonon's airship and dozens of lasers being fired at her from different directions.

0:17-0:20: We see her dodging even more lasers and even be able to accelerate faster than lasers (we will look at this soon)

1:26-1:35: Again, she is able to dodge the entire barrage of Nonon's weaponry, which includes dozens of lasers, missiles , and sonic generators.

With all this in mind, lets look at how fast ryuko is traveling when flying:

• Being able to dodge Nonon's sound waves shows that she is moving at minimum, the speed of sound
• Being able to dodge her missiles (which have been shown to travel at least Mach 5, or hyper sonic speeds)
• Being able to dodge her lasers and even out pace some of them would put her much higher than hyper sonic.

And a common argument here would be that ryuko is "dodging the aim of nonon's projectiles. However, this is not the case here.

1. There are so many projectiles being fired at any given time from many different locations on nonon's air ship that it is unlikely that she is dodging the aim of all of those different firing locations
2. Ryuko is generally flying in front of the ship, meaning that she cant see behind her, making it all the more difficult for her to "dodge the aim"

So, while ryuko is fully capable of dodging the aim of say, bullets, he is also capable of dodging even after the bullets have been fired.

Durability:

First, let me start with that if Ira Gamagori's 30% life fiber suit is bullet and car proof, so is Ryuko's 100% life fiber suit, but to a much greater extent.

In this video, Ryuko is wearing Jenketsu, another 100% life fiber outfit. For all intensive purposes, it is just as strong and durable as senketsu, but not as good. Because ryuko was under mind control at this point in the series and was forced to wear Jenketsu, she is unable to "fully synchronize" with it (basically meaning that she is not as strong with Jenketsu as she is with Senketsu. more on that later)

0:30: From point blank range, ryuko tanks a shot by 3 high tech battle ship cannons and literally is unfazed.

So you see what i mean when i say that life fibers are the strongest materials on earth, easily stronger than steel, concrete, or even diamonds.

This takes place after the final fight and all the life fibers on earth have been destroyed (except for senketsu). Senketsu has just absorbed Shinra-Kōketsu (another 100% life fiber outfit, but this one was the size of a building). The strain of absorbing that causes him to start to disintegrate, hence why he is destroyed in re entry.

But lets look at this. Ryuko (with out wearing senketsu) managed to survive re entry into earth and the subsequent fall (though she was caught by her friends, but she still managed to survive slamming into them at terminal velocity). The only reason senketsu was destroyed was because he was in the act of disintegrating anyway, so it is very likely that if he was at full strength, he and ryuko would easily be able to survive falling from space.

And you can see that as she fell and even after she landed, she showed no signs of needing to regenerate. No skin or hair burning off is the tip off here. So we can assume that in order to damage her, your attacks need to have more power then re-entry can manage to pull off.

Regeneration:

Because Ryuko is a Human/Life Fiber Hybrid, she can regenerate indefinitely,and like dante, virtually instantly from any attack:

1:29-1:31: You see Ragyo (another human/life fiber hybrid regenerating from deep cuts to her face in 1 second

1:37-1:50: You see Ryuko cut competently in half (Conclusion in the next video)

0:00: You see Ryuko is completely fine (like nothing had happened)

0:19: You see that Ryuko let her self be cut in half so that she could do a surprise attack on the original life fiber

1:58-2:14: We see that Ryuko had her heart pulled out of her chest, and that did very little other than shock her. It returned to its rightful place after Ragyo let go.

Also, we see that ragyo's hand was cut off, and she easily put it back on. Because she is the same type of being that Ryuko is, Ryuko would easily be able to replicate this feat.

Another instance of life fiber regeneration. Ragyo has been stabbed through the chest by Satsuki's sword and was crucified by her. Yet not only can she still function normally, this does little more than annoy her as she manages to escape and regenerate.

0:39: Satsuki decapitates Ragyo. at 1:30, we again see that not only can she still fully function (even having her body keep fighting after losing her head), but she can recover from her own decapitation.

I know i've said a lot about what Ragyo can do, but she is a good example of what Ryuko is capable of doing. They are the same being, so it is possible for Ryuko to do everything shown here.

As for Ragyo's statement that "as long as a single thread remains intact", basically she can only defeated if you destroy her body completely. So that holds for Ryuko.

Conclusion:

• Ryuko can make blades that can pierce through what bullets bounce off of
• Ryuko can fly at hyper sonic speeds at minimum (mach 5+)
• Ryuko survived re-entry with only a weakened senketsu as a heat shield
• Ryuko tanked a point blank shot from 3 battle ship cannons (is effectively bullet and cannon proof)
• She can fully regenerate from any attack within seconds

Dude you haven't even shown her best feats especially her feats from episode 3 also based on feats ryuko is far faster than mach 5(sorry im intervening. I just felt like i had to say that.)

@deathhero61 no, i am aware of that. i just wanted to show off her flying speed rather then her combat or even running speed.

dont worry, i'll get to that in a bit. just got some more stuff to do, then i'll post my next argument

ok, time for another post. lets take a look at ryuko's main weapons: The scissor blades

Now, each blade can detach so that ryuko can duel wield them, or she can keep them together in scissor form to cut her opponent in half from 2 sides. The blades themselves can also change shape as well. The one with the more circular handle can turn into a duel edged scythe, like so:

Both of the weapons can also go have their handles extend out, turning into very long swords, like so:

These weapons are made out of harden life fibers, meaning that they are virtually indestructible (as i have shown life fibers to be. They are also capable of ripping through Goku uniforms very easily as well. Considering that a 30% goku uniform had high caliber bullets bounce off of them and could sustain blows from cars, you can imagine how powerful these swords are to be able to rip through them that easily. Her signature move is called Fiber Loss, where she slices her opponent with her sword and all of the victim's clothing are torn apart and absorbed by her. So dante is going to be naked with in the first few minutes of the fight.

and before you say that she will be distracted by dante's dick, she wont be. she has seen plenty of naked men and helped the rebel group nudist beach fight against satsuki.

alright, enough about her weapon, lets move on to some more of her stats:

Strength/Stamina

So, she is easily stronger than many superhumans, capable of causing complete destruction to the fort like Honojui academy. She can easily punch and slice through solid rock and steel like it was nothing, and was sent by Ragyo after being turned evil to take out an entire high tech battle ship (the naked sol) by herself (and she would have if it wasnt for PSI).

she also single handedly fought and defeated 3 members of the Elite 4 (all of whom have 30% life fiber uniforms and have years more combat experience then she does and have studied how Ryuko fights) one after the other with no breaks in between (she does have great stamina). The only reason she didnt defeat the last member was because a girl named Nui Harame interupted the fight before it could begin and Ryuko fought her instead (more on Nui later)

She is also one of the only people who can challenge Satsuki in any regard (the only others being Nui and Raygo).

• 2:44: their will power alone causes an explosion that is capable of ripping through stone and sending many people flying in the air
• 2:59: Satsuki can send slashes out of her blade and ryuko blocks it with her own. This is very similar to Dante's Yamato sword (as Satsuki's blade is the only thing next to Ryuko's scissor blades that can cut through life fibers), so ryuko will have had many experiences with this method of attack. Also, the resulting impact from this single slash causes enough force to knock people air bord who are behind ryuko, yet ryuko manages to hold her ground.
• 3:08: Some combat speed feats here. Ryuko can block and coutner all of satsuki's blade slashes, which are fast enough to become blurs to the eyes
• 3:30: We see what someone is with a 100% life fiber outfit can do. Satsuki effortlessly craters the ground and with a very light tap, sends ryuko flying through the air and crashing through a building. Because ryuko is equal to satsuki in strength after she fully accepts senketsu later in the fight, it stands to reason that she can do the same things.
• 7:22: Something i forgot to mention about senketsu is that he has jet like propulsion things on his back, allowing ryuko to have quick bursts of speed to dodge attack, or charge straight at an opponent with more force. Form here on out, ryuko is fighting after losing almost enough blood to pass out and being beaten to shit from her weaker form by satsuki managing to fight back and nearly over power the full strength satsuki. (if you need any convincing that satsuki is very fast, earlier in the fight, she was moving her blade fast enough to cause blurs and even leave multiple after images). And Satsuki is forced to admit that a tired and warn out ryuko is nearly as fast as she is.
• 7:36: ryuko moves/spins fast enough to become a tornado, completely bluing from view
• 8:08: he sword strike, even though it missed, still managed to cut through rock, just by the force she applied
• 8:40: Their blows crater the earth and continue to knock people back who arent anywhere near them
• 8:49: ryuko with her jets on manage to hold back satsuki with her jets on
• 8:58: Ryuko's punches satsuki and generates enough force to make a crater in the wall several feet behind her
• 9:20: their last blow not only craters the ground and sends people flying airborne away from them. It actually knocks all of the air in the area away (as seen when everything flies away, moves back in briefly, then is knocked away again). That takes a shit ton of force (at least a large bomb, probably higher)

Conclusion

• Dante will be fighting in the nude for a majority of the fight
• Ryuko has dealt with weapons like Yamato before
• Ryuko's punches are capable of cratering walls
• She can fight someone stronger/more experienced than she was to a near standstill after losing about 2 pints of blood and being thrown through buildings
• She is fast enough to keep up with someone who can move so fast she blurs
• She can generate the force of an explosion with her willpower
• She can knock the air out of an area temporarily with her strikes
