Absolutely, it's apart of their standard equipment so they're fine to use and really the only other things I won't allow are feats from the opposite karma setting or if they were amped somehow. Otherwise, you're fine.

Which one are you biased about?

I believe the Prototypes to be massively superior but they have a weakness to electricity so i'd like to see how this goes.

Ok,lets stert with Cole Macgrath:

Powers and abilities:

Four years prior to the Blast, Cole began practicing Urban Exploration; parkour and climbing.[2] He also traveled down to New Marais during his training, exploiting the drop of law enforcement. Through extensive training, Cole was able to perform parkour with ease, able to walk on narrow cables and climb buildings. This has aided him well in his job as a bike messenger in Empire City.[1]

Being a latent Conduit, Cole also seemed to have a stronger resistance and endurance to injury, as he was able to make it out alive after being run over by a freight truck during the time before the Blast. Zeke mentions this to Trish when the latter was worried if Cole will get out of his coma or not, assuring her that he'll be fine.[4]

inFamous

"Outside, things were bad. But inside - inside me - something was...beginning."
— Cole MacGrath, regarding his powers.[2]

Right after the Blast, Cole's primary ability is Electrokinesis and Electromagnetism.

  • Electrokinesis: This gives Cole the ability to channel lightning in and out of his body. Cole can use this to a variety of means, one notable example being its use in hand-to-hand combat. Cole combines martial arts while electrifying his hands to fight his enemies. He can greatly improve the damage he can inflict by charging both of his arms with electric energy (Gigawatt Blades), and taking down almost any human in a single hit.[2]Cole could also use his Electrokinetic abilities to his advantage in various ways. He could use it like a radar (Radar Pulse) to locate electric sources nearby, and differentiate friend from foe, find Blast Shards, or locate John White's Dead Drops. He could use his powers in an almost Telepathic way, reading a deceased persons thoughts through neuroelectic energy absorbed from their synapses (Psychic Vision). He could read a memory of his choice, such as finding out how a person died, or finding something they hid (namely Blast Shards). Should he see how they died, he would also see an "echo" through neuroelectric remnants of a person connected with the death. he could see the echo through the use of his Radar Pulse.[2]Cole's primary offensive ability was to fire an Electrokinetic bolt of lightning out of his hands and onto any target he has it aimed to (Lightning Bolt). This bolt passed a current through any target, stunning enemies, electrifying bodies of water (thus killing anyone in it), or charge up electric devices. Several variations of this attack include: a continuous chain of lightning (Arc Lightning), a massive amount of energy concentrated into a single bolt (Overload Burst), and a sniper-like bolt of electricity, shot while speeding up Cole to a point where time appeared to slow down. (Precision).[2]
  • Electromagnetism: This allows him to use electricity in order to generate magnetic and anti-magnetic effects. He can also charge himself with energy as he falls, creating a powerful explosion as he lands (Thunder Drop). With Electromagnetism, Cole could perform several attacks with various uses. He could bind an explosive kinetic charge with Electromagnetism, sticking to any enemies, bouncing off walls, and exploding a few seconds after impact (Shock Grenade). He could also trap a massive explosive charge in a swirling rocket-like mass, that would explode on contact (Megawatt Hammer), and generate a shockwave that knocks targets into the air (Electromagnetic Shockwave (TK Blast)). Cole could hover in the air using electromagnetism (Static Thrusters), and also grind through metal wires and railings (Induction Grind). Cole had the ability to form a defensive barrier that can protect him from harm through the use of electromagnetism (Polarity Wall).[2]Also, Cole possessed "touch-related" abilities, such as "leeching" an individual's neuroelectric energy to instantly heal any body damage inflicted unto him (Bio Leech), restraining a wounded individual with the use of electrokinesis and electromagnetism (Arc Restraint), and also healing a nearby injured individual back up their feet (Pulse Heal). Cole also exhibited some form of weather control, the primary example being able to call forth an extremely powerful bolt of lightning from the sky and control its direction when prolonged (Lightning Storm). This could be an extremely advanced form of electrokinesis, literally forcing the sky to discharge all its charge in one massive lightning storm.[2]

He also possessed upgrades for most of these powers, with the general upgrade path being accurate and more inclined to injuring an opponent (Good Karma) or destructive and splitting into multiple blows (Evil Karma). He possessed a unique ability, to gain an endless supply of energy for 15-30 seconds (Karmic Overload).

Other Conduit Abilities

  • Enhanced Strength and Durability: As a Conduit, Cole MacGrath gains enhanced strength, resistance to injury, reflexes, agility and physical abilities have been enhanced to levels beyond that of any normal man. He could hold up a support beam by himself and he could free-fall from any height without harming himself. His body is strong enough to take great punishment, surviving huge explosions, though he could never take a direct hit from an RPG, and could not stand in the epicentre of large explosions. He had an unflinching response to bullets, and could easily survive being shot in vital areas, as his electricity could heal him. When Alden's junk tower collapsed, Cole was literally buried alive under it, but "barely felt it".
    • Accelerated Healing: Cole gained an accelerated healing factor from the Blast, able to quickly heal any damage his body takes in, due to his body's natural ability to heal being greatly accelerated, through the stimulation of Cole's muscle tissues and his immune system when electricity isn't available. Cole was rendered impervious to most diseases except for the strongest ones, such as the extreme toxic gases that Kessler's air balloons had released (by-product of Sasha's mind-controlling Black Tar). Even these toxins did not give the user complete control over him, only causing him a lot of pain and draining him of his powers temporarily. His healing ability was accelerated when Cole actively absorbed electricity (Electric Drain)[2]

Over the month after his fight with Kessler, his powers grew tremendously. For one he appeared to have an unlimited supply of energy, and his hands had electricity flowing through them when in a fight, as though he was using a permanent form of Karmic Overload. His Bolts had become much more powerful, with the size and power of Rockets (they never hurt him if he fired too close to himself), but chained electricity like Lightning Bolts, and had a smaller radius of explosion. His grenades apparently lost their adhesive abilities, as any grenades he threw would bounce off the Beast's skin. His Electromagnetic Shockwaves had evolved intoBlasts, no longer appear like swirling circular electrified blasts, instead appearing more similar to an expanding Polarity Wall, and a wider area of effect.

His endurance had increased to the point that he could survive being crushed between the Beast's hands for a very long time (he was unable to survive for as long during his final confrontation with the Beast). His Static Thrusters were much more powerful than before, though he still couldn't use them to fly. He had also learned how to summon Lightning Storms while on uneven ground, giving him a huge advantage in battle.

inFamous 2

"My powers are getting stronger. Tempting me to do things I couldn't have imagined."
— Cole MacGrath, on his power's metamorphosis.[5]

Electrokinesis: Cole furthered his Electrokinesis in inFamous 2 to impressive levels. Originally, his Lightning Bolts became slightly weaker (this may have been intentional) and began consuming energy. However, Cole began honing his skills and powers in New Marais in preparation for The Beast's imminent advent. Cole retained many powers, including Static Thrusters and the Precision attack (though he needed to "reawaken" the latter with a Blast Core), while other powers were revamped considerably. Most notably, Cole's powers evolved after stressing his body in different ways. The first evolution took place after Cole took down several Militia, which granted him new powers. His primary ability evolved from blasting a single bolt (Alpha Bolt) to blasting three bolts at once (Pincer Bolt), and also able to gain other variations, such as the ability to blast a longer, stronger bolt (Magnum Bolt) and also the ability to blast a bolt that has a farther range (Artillery Bolt). Cole further evolved several of his abilities, including the Grenades and Shockwave attacks.[1] Cole's melee combat has been improved, now using a powerful electric baton instead of hand-to-hand (The Amp).Cole gained Electrokinetic abilities that improved his mobility, such as the ability to jump at a higher altitude while on top of a car (Car Jump) and also the ability to create a tether that allows Cole to drag himself to a surface that allows the tether to attach (Lightning Tether). He has also exhibited new forms of attack, such as the ability to use lightning as a lasso, and drag enemies off of their feet (Lightning Hook) and an enhanced Shock Grenade, able to electrocute several enemies before detonation (Electrocution Grenade). He gained a new precision Blast that had a much longer range, though a smaller area of effect, and a Grenade that hops towards the nearest enemy.[1]

  • Electromagnetism: In addition to many of his powers from before, Cole was able to use a form of telekinesis, as Cole is able to lift a metallic object through the use of his powers, and able to throw them at his opponents (Kinetic Pulse).
  • Ionic Manipulation: Cole lost the ability to manipulate Lightning Storms through his own Electrokinetic abilities, instead relying on Ionic Manipulation. Occasionally, one of his enemies dropped a charge when taken down. He could use its power to perform devastating powers akin to the attribute, such as conjuring a powerful hurricane (Ionic Vortex) or a more powerful, stationary Lightning Storm (Ionic Storm).
  • Power Transfer Device: Through the Power Transfer Device, Cole gained abilities and attacks attributed to either Pyrokinesis(if he chooses to transfer powers with Nix) or Cryokinesis (if he chooses to transfer powers with Lucy Kuo). Several powers exhibited by Cole involve gliding at a low altitude while wrought in fire (Firebird Strike), and spiking off a tall icicle from the ground, able to jump greater heights (Ice Launch). Powers attributed to an ionic charge can also be used to perform attacks akin to the two elements, such as the ability to spike off several icicles from the ground, freezing nearby enemies (Ionic Freeze) and also the ability to drain the life force of nearby hostiles and bystanders (Ionic Drain). Several attacks are different variations of Cole's electrokinetic powers, only done in their element (such as the Nightmare Blast and the Frost Shield). Both abilities are attributed to negative (Pyrokinesis) and positive Karma (Cryokinesis), meaning both cannot co-exist in one inning.[1]
  • Ice Manipulation: If the player chooses the "good karma" side in inFAMOUS 2, then Cole will have the ability to manipulate ice; the ability that he got from attempting to transfer powers with Lucy Kuo. Among the new powers that he'll acquire are the Ice Launch, (Cole flash freezes water molecules under his feet, creating a large pillar of ice that lets him jump higher than a Super Jump), Ionic Freez, (Cole uses an Ionic Charge to launch a wave of ice at his enemies. Human sized enemies are instantly frozen by this move), Shatter Blast, (Cole flash freezes a small group of icicles and launches them at his targets. Consumes twice the energy of the Alpha Blast but with twice the damage), Frost Shield, (Cole creates a small field of ultracold air that blocks bullets and converts them into energy, similar to the upgraded Polarity Wall), Ice Gernade, (Cole throws a ball of ice that detonates on impact, creating a small field of icicles that can be used as temporary cover. Weakened targets hit directly by this grenade are instantly frozen), and Freeze Rocket, (Cole launches a ball of subzero gas at his targets, instantly freezing anything caught in the blast radius. Travels at a faster speed than other Rockets).
  • Fire Manipulation: If the player chooses the "evil karma" side in inFAMOUS 2, then Cole will have thea bility manipulate fire; the ability that he got from attempting to transfer powers with Nix. Among the new powers that he'll acquire are the Firebird Strike, (Cole envelopes his body in fire and flies a short distance before creating a small explosion), Ionic Drain, (Cole uses an Ionic Charge to expand his Bio-leech ability, draining life energy from his surroundings, including energy sources. Larger enemies are not affected by this power), Nightmare Blast, (Cole creates a cloud of smoke and ash, blinding human sized enemies caught in the blast radius), Napalm Gernade, (Cole throws an explosive ball of oil that detonates on impact, delivering a greater blast radius and damage than other Grenades), and Hellfire Rockets, (Cole launches a cluster of five fireballs that explode on impact, delivering greater damage than other Rockets).

Cole is also able to gain bonuses that coincide with his Karmic rank, such as the ability to heal several civilians at once, and also able to gain unlimited power for a limited time after performing a Bio Leech onto an individual. Both of these upgrades are automatically received after reaching the specific Karmic rank. Several other upgrades function the same, and can only be gained once a specific Karmic rank is achieved.[1]

At the end of his final confrontation with the Beast, he got a glimpse of his full potential when the fully charged RFI amplified his powers. He began to fire Missile Bolts like he did during his first battle with the Beast. He appeared to have a permanent form of Karmic Overload he was seen using in the first battle. His Static Thrusters allowed him true flight ability, and the Beast's attacks hurt him less. His powers were amplified to the extent that he could bring down the Beast within moments, while it had taken a much longer time when the RFI wasn't fully charged.[1]

Since Kessler was Cole's future self, it can be assumed that he would have gained all of Kessler's abilities had he stayed alive for as long, and perhaps even surpassed them (Kessler may not have had to restore electricity to Empire City, or look for Blast Cores in New Marais).[2]

Now to Delsin Rowe:

Powers and Abilities

Delsin discovers his powers when he absorbs the abilities of Hank, a prisoner on a D.U.P. carrier, taking on Smoke Manipulation. Later, he discovers that he possesses the ability to mimic the powers of other Conduits.

  • Power Absorption: Delsin has the natural ability to absorb the abilities of other conduits, which he discovers after encountering a crashed conduit transport vehicle.[2] This gives him the potential to be one of the most powerful Conduits ever in existence, due to the fact that he can have multiple powers at any point and can always absorb more.
  • Telepathic Perception: Delsin along with his ability to take the powers of others, also has the ability, through touch, to look at another person's past and the emotions they experienced to rapidly gain information of their lives. Although it's not confirmed, it appears that this power can't be used on non-Conduits because he has shown no signs of it when touching any non-Conduits such as his brother. This power is not to be confused with Telepathy, as he is not reading their minds, but receiving information.
    • Smoke Manipulation: Delsin's initial powers seem to be based on smoke and ember, having taken it from the Conduit he helped survive. He suddenly gains the capacity to shoot smoke out of his hands, or even turn into smoke and travel quickly around the city through the use of air ducts. He can also deploy smoke grenades, which, after explosion, cover affected enemies in smoke and incapacitate them. Delsin can use the chain on his arm as a whip, seemingly imbuing it with burning ash, similarly to how the Amp was wrought in Cole's electricity. Additionally, he can make use of a smoke dash ability for heightened motion and produce lateral propulsion for a short while via Smoke Thrusters. His smoke dash can also be used offensively, as he dashes through an enemy and rematerializes behind them, choke-slamming them to the ground in the process. Delsin also replenishes his power by absorbing smoke from chimneys, cars, and DUP tear gas canisters.[3] He can use his special Smoke Karma Bomb abilty called Orbital Drop: Delsin dematerializes into three balls of smoke which propell upwards. Upon reaching a specific height, Delsin rematerializes and rapidly falls down, exploding into smoke and embers upon contact with the surface.
    • Neon Manipulation: Later on the game, Delsin absorbs from Abigail Walker the ability to control neon. With it, he is shown to have powers similar to his smoke dispersal abilities yet instead dissolves and reforms from gaseous energy based semblance. He can discharge Neon stream lasers from his hands, which also blow up upon contact to deal more damage to enemies than the smoke projectile as well as simulate some type of light dash, which when used dissolves him into Neon itself and enables him, and brief after images of him, to sprint up or around walls and literally run on air from a starting jump for brief periods of time.[4] Delsin's chain can also be covered in neon and made rigid, allowing it to be used like in sword-like fashion; he can also use neon to charge it directly into enemies, knocking them over, similar to his smoke choke slam. He also has neon grenades which suspend enemies in air for a short amount of time. Aiming while using the Neon power set utilizes a mode similar to Precision, time slows down and it highlights certain weak points around specific enemy body parts. Weak points are Karma specific, shoot an enemy in the head to cause them to be "obliterated" and explode into a puff of red neon and receive evil karma, or shoot them in the shins to restrain the enemy to receive good karma.[5] Sources show he also has some kind of propulsion ability honed by a force field situated at the lower legs similar to Cole's Static Thrusters and Delsin's own Smoke Thrusters. He can replenish his Neon reserves by absorbing it from the brightly lit neon signs situated around the city. With Neon power active, Delsin can use his special Neon Karma Bomb called Radiant Sweep: in which he concentrates neon energy into himself and then bursts, shooting beams in all directions, producing a massive explosion. The effects of which are currently unknown, other than the swathe of neon flames it leaves
    • Video Manipulation: Delsin then gains the ability of Video by absorbing a Conduit named Eugene Sims. Delsin can drain this power from television monitors to computer screen on satellite dishes. When using Video, Delsin can shoot out a stream of pixelated projectiles in a rapid fire motion similar to Cole’s Bolt Stream. Also gaining the ability to transform himself into faint pixels, becoming invisible to enemies for a certain time period. When using melee attacks, Delsin doesn’t seem to use his chain. Instead, depending on his karma, he creates a digital sword (good) or claws (evil) to hack and slash. Furthermore, when dashing he can create wings for himself to fly over obstacles and directly up walls. Dashing into satellite dishes will cause him to launch higher up in the air. Delsin can also mark and summon three Bloodthirsty Blades. When the blades are summoned, they then seek out the target that has been marked. With Video power active, Delsin can use his special Video Karma Bomb called Hellfire Swarm: in which he summons both angels and demons, from the game Heaven’s Hellfire, to swoop down and carpet bombing enemies. When over, the Karma Bomb will either subdue (good) or obliterate (evil) enemies depending on Delsin's decisions.[6]
    • Concrete Manipulation: The last power Delsin gets, which is absorbed from Brooke Augustine, gaining her unique ability to manipulate Concrete. Delsin can drain this power from any down members of the D.U.P. he comes across. What also makes concrete separate itself from the other powers is that while using it, Delsin automatically takes less damage from enemy fire. While using the power he can shoot out a shrapnel of concrete in a burst fire manner. Delsin can also fire off slabs of concrete, very similar to one a Augustine attacks. Like Video, Delsin doesn’t seem to use the chain either when using concrete. Instead, Delsin smashes his hand on the ground, creating a miniature tremor that knocks enemies back. When dashing Delsin is covered in concrete wearing it like armor, making himself a living boulder. Delsin can also travel around using concrete thrusters, similar to Cole’s Static Thrusters, where stones are surrounded under him. Every time the thrusters are used, they initially lift him higher in the air, causing him to glide even farther. Surprisingly, out of all the current power sets (Smoke, Neon, Video and Concrete) Concrete is the only one that doesn’t have a Karma Bomb for some odd reason. Also noted that Delsin cannot use the launching ability the D.U.P. have, which is very similar to the Ice Launch power in inFAMOUS 2.
  • Parkour Skills: In addition, Delsin is physically able to climb up any kind of buildings, having the same free running and parkour abilities as Cole. He is described as not being a very experienced climber, but if he sees something he can climb, there's nothing stopping him from trying. Sucker Punch co-founder Chris Zimmerman has gone on record saying that Delsin can parkour two times faster than Cole.

Basic Conduit Abilities

  • Enhanced Strength: Like all Major Conduits, Delsin has enhanced strength. He effortlessly pulls his brother's arm off of Abigail Walker to the point where Reggie shows physical pain.He was also able to effortlessly pull off a chain link door off a cage.
  • Durability: Delsin is able to fall from relatively high distances and land unharmed.
  • Rapid Healing: Delsin is stated to be able to quickly heal from sustained wounds.

@stealth_warrior:

Now that I have completed everything on my to-do-list and since there's no posts for me to reply to for my other debates, I can settle down to this highly intriguing debate especially since I have wanted to settle this one in particular as I am a big fan of both of the franchises.

Although I would call your opener a highly professional rundown and expert formatting of the Conduit's abilities, by seeing the first tiny number link I knew you'd copied/pasted it from two Infamous Wikis but I did a quick search just to be certain. Regardless at least it's something to counter and I don't mind how you debate to be honest, but by relying on Wikis as source information it just makes it all the easier for me to point out some of the evident flaws such as the following:

  • "Cole combinesmartial artswhile electrifying his hands to fight his enemies" - From what I can recall, it was never stated nor demonstrated that Cole possesses knowledge of any martial arts type so based off of his showings he's not exactly "skillful" in the aspect apart from using his abilities to perhaps augment his hand-to-hand combat.
  • "At the end of his final confrontation with the Beast, he got a glimpse of his full potential when thefully charged RFI amplified his powers" - The RFI didn't amplify Cole's abilities at all as it's sole purpose was to extinguish the Conduits as a whole, it was by activating the seven Blast Cores (correct me if i'm wrong on that number) to the end of the game that allowed Cole to become as powerful as he was.
  • "He appeared to have apermanent form of Karmic Overloadhe was seen using in the first battle. His Static Thrustersallowed him true flight ability" - The first underlined point along with the seemingly "limitless" amount of energy Cole obtained at the beginning of the game cannot be proven, it's only assumed but the more likely event against the Beast at the end was that Cole's body was automatically feeding off of John's recyclable energy. It'd also be more likely that it was John's gravitational manipulation, rather than Cole able to actually fly as he was literally forced up into the air whenever John came close.

Those were really the main points I had problems with but otherwise everything else for Cole/Delsin was relatively okay so now i'll start running down the Prototypes themselves, but in regards to videos for some reason it won't allow me to upload so we'll have to make do with links for this post at least. Rather than taking my usual approach of listing the Prototype's physical ability, i'll start off by establishing their skill and intellect onwhy there's no way a bike courier and a tag artist could compare in either of these aspects:

Skill & Intelligence:

Before Mercer had adapted to the Black-Light virus, he was one of the head researchers at the "Gentek Biological Research Facility" and discovered the proper source of the virus along with it's rather volatile history. By possessing an already excelling intellect at this point, he'd be considered a genius in the field of biology and in general terms by applying his knowledge.

After releasing his vial and adapting to the virus itself, Mercer was gifted with the ability to consume living organisms obtaining the memories and appearance of the victim although this is seemingly limited to human beings and any other organism he consumes only grants him a portion of biomass and/or some of their abilities. The collection of the memories Mercer can access is called the Web of Intrigueand the canonical statistic of minds he possesses is 131. Most of these mind aren't just coming from any average individuals, so to give you an idea of the diverse intelligence Mercer has at his disposal:

  • 1st Lieutenant James Goodwin
  • Sergeant Joseph Sorenson
  • Dr. Ricardo Garcia
  • Captain Mac Marshall
  • PFC (Marine Corps) Jesse Arel
  • Private Damien Loshek
  • General Peter Randall
  • Head Captain Elite Robert Cross

As you can see, Mercer possesses the brains and skills from just about every rank of the United States military system along with pilots/vehicle coordinators (hence Mercer's ability to easily maneuver tanks or pilot helicopters) and learned doctors. Be my guest if you're willing to research the qualifications for those plus there's dozens of more examples I could list but I figure this should do it, Mercer's intelligence and skill is beyond the reach of any single mind across the globe.

Onto James Heller, before also adapting to the Black-Light virus he was one of the sergeants of the Red Crown military and his mission was set out to "stop" Alex Mercer himself to avenge his wife's demise and thought to be daughter Amaya's too (only to be revealed later on that she was merely held captive all along). By default his level of skill and military intelligence to achieve that rank is impressive enough as it is but like Mercer, Heller was also granted with the ability to consume and obtain the minds/appearances of the human beings. Although the type of people the Prototypes have consumed are mostly the same, here's several consumption examples for Heller's sake (some based off of the Blacknet Events):

  • Lieutenant Clint Riley
  • Dr. Samuel Billingsley
  • Gentek Facility Commander (Unknown Name)
  • Dr. David Castleman
  • Corporal Jeffrey Fasolo
  • Dr. Lawrence Foster
  • Commander Chapin

So there you go, both Heller and Mercer are playing roughly on par with each other in terms of these aspects but i'd say Mercer has the more extensive knowledge based off of the bigger number of minds he has consumed plus his experience/adaptation from being a host of the virus itself. That's a basic rundown of the Prototype's level of intelligence/skill so in the scenario where we restricted everyone's powers and set both teams on equal physicals, the Prototypes would quite easily wreck the Conduits but since we're actually using their abilities that only furthers their advantage as they massively excel in physical ability which is really the only aspects they require to sweep this battle in their favor:

Physicality:

In terms of listing off Cole the Conduit's parkour and physical attribute abilities, i'd honestly bland those sections counterproductive as they really don't compare at all to the Prototypes. I'm not saying that Cole/Delsin are not physically excelling, but the only premise that's delaying their inevitable demise is their powers as their raw physicality is paling in comparison so i'll start with the basics:

(If any of the videos don't start at the correct time, tell me and specify the timing)

  • Strength - In terms of raw strength Alex has thrown human bodies considerable distances as if they're weightless, can swoop up cars and easily throw cars while running at top speed, has ran up entire skyscrapers whilst carrying cargo trucks, and has flung tanks with one-hand effortlessly. Heller has replicated most of these feats bar the last one, but has ripped off tank-barrels easily.
  • Durability - Mercer his highly resistant to bullets as it takes at least hundreds to significantly harm him, has only taken tenths of full damage from tanks shells while getting straight back up after each it, has taken out military bases while handling most of their firepower, endured blows from super soldiers and supreme hunters (who can easily take apart tanks in a matter of moments and has resisted force that had blown up tanks on contact. Heller is completely bullet-proof, has endured hits from Brawlers, Evolved, Juggernauts, Goliaths, and has handled a couple of hits from thermobaric firepower designed to wipe out city-blocks with every homing rocket.
  • Regenerative Abilities/Healing Factor - While at full health any small to moderate amounts of damage Alex receives can be healed from within seconds without the need of consuming extra biomass, he regenerated from hole plowed through his face after shot point-blank by General Randall, and consumed a crow to regenerate at cellular level after he was hit by a nuclear bomb. Although Heller again possesses the ability to replicate most of these feats, he has regenerated from completely after being incinerated and shot by consuming a soldier.

Though there's more to be said, this should suffice to say that the Prototypes physically exceed the Conduits in every aspect of the field to the point where so much as one punch from either Prototype would take Cole or Delsin's head off so they'll have to avoid any chance of being hit. Based off of the Conduit's destructive/offensive capabilities the Conduits don't bring much to the table against what the Prototypes have endured/regenerated from and they certainly don't compare in anything else regarding this section so it's safe to say that they'll be forced to rely on their resourcefulness of their powers.

Unfortunately while i'll admit that both Conduits have demonstrated the ability to harm the Prototypes, there's never anything of significant value on the table suggesting they could deal substantial amounts of damage other than the infamous (see what I did there) "Cole's powers revolve around electricity, and since Mercer was harmed by Cross' shocking device that means that Cole could easily beat him" argument that'll be used throughout the debate I can fairly assume but i'll save you some time mate as i'll debunk it here and now:

  • In order to pin a weakness onto a character, you'll need more clarification and evidence rather than one instance. Not to mention, it was never stated nor indicated that the Black-Light was truly vulnerable to electricity but it was only assumed by the fans.
  • Since it was never used on Mercer again, one could assume that his ability to adapt (like he did to the blood-tox gas, a confirmed weakness from Alex) permitted him to overcome it and handle it altogether based on his own durability rather than he previously did.
  • If you've played the game, you'd have noticed how limited you were rather than Alex's usual ability to jump around and lunge kick your opponents. Directly after this instance, Cross had used a syringe to nullify Mercer's abilities so the more likely event of this occurring is that it was nothing more of a plot-device to enhance the story and create a new objective for the player.

Since there's no significant basis to justify this instance as a weakness, the argument is rendered as a baseless and exaggerated moot point. Instead of relying on the opposing weakness one should always focus what the character has done, shown the ability to do or at least something holding weighted baring suggesting what they could possibly accomplish. Considering that I own the entire Infamous and Prototype franchise to date, i'm aware of exactly what both teams have demonstrated the ability to do or what they're capable of but more importantly on what they're not capable of.

Although as I said earlier the Conduits possess the abilities to do fair amounts of harm to my team, most of their abilities lack substantial force or power in order to significantly damage the type of durability on the Prototype's caliber. The demonstrations of power contradict the type of arguments people use to say Cole can beat Alex as they mostly rely on real-world logic which is inapplicable.

On the other hand, the Prototypes possess and demonstrate everything to suggest that they're capable of handling most of what the Conduits can dish out plus they can eventually tag them (as there's not enough feats for the Conduits handling anyone who can maneuver at the Protoype's caliber and their defensive abilities aren't forceful enough to counter their physicality) with evidence to suggest they can one-shot either Cole or Delsin so pretty much any argument for them can be applied where as the same cannot be said for the Conduits considering the amount of trouble they can have and be overwhelmed by in their own games were as the Prototypes would noticeably handle with ease.

Post Conclusion:

Based on what each team's abilities and limited demonstrations are able to do, the Prototypes are the ones to clearly excel in virtually all aspects regarding an actual fight. They possess the sufficient durability feats enabling them to tank the most of what the Conduits can dish out, beat either of them with a single shot and are more than capable of tagging them throughout disregarding the need of their shape-shifting abilities (that i'll get into in my next post). In the end i'd see Cole getting eaten by Alex and Delsin by Heller, and both are granted with brand new abilities unless they can't due to the conduit gene but either way I really don't see how the Conduits can compare.

@pope052: So,this is going to be one hell of a callenge!

Fist,i will counter your your part of the post when you clearly say about your teams physicals and healing:

So, how can i counter that?Well by showing of my damage output and my destructive abilities:

  • Electrokinesis: Cole furthered his Electrokinesis in inFamous 2 to impressive levels.
    • Power Transfer Device: Through the Power Transfer Device, Cole gained abilities and attacks attributed to eitherPyrokinesis(if he chooses to transfer powers with Nix) or Cryokinesis (if he chooses to transfer powers with Lucy Kuo).
    • Cole is also able to gain bonuses that coincide with his Karmic rank, such as the ability to heal several civilians at once, and also able to gain unlimited power for a limited time after performing a Bio Leech onto an individual. Both of these upgrades are automatically received after reaching the specific Karmic rank. Several other upgrades function the same, and can only be gained once a specific Karmic rank is achieved.[1
    • Delsin discovers his powers when he absorbs the abilities of Hank, a prisoner on a D.U.P. carrier, taking on Smoke Manipulation.

        • Post conclusion:
        • See,This is the power output that can and will be enougth to put your team down to the ground. Also,i dont see how your team is going to tuch an intangible opponent such as Delsin.Your turn.

@Pope052: Also,i should add that Cole haves the Ionic Storm.Well, you know what it is but thats not what im here to talk about.Im here to talk about that the Ionic Storm is the only thing that Cole will need.See,in his first figth against the Beast(correct me if im wrong)he performed the Ionic Storm to its full potencial. So,in this figth, the situation will demand for Cole to go all out(in which he will,no dobt about it) so he will put all hes got in the Ionic Storm,so the Ionic Storm will reach hes full temperature wich maximum temparature is five times hooter than the sun's surface.Lightning can reach temperatures of rougthly 30,000 Kelvins(53,540 degrees Fahrenheit.)While, the sun surface temperature is just 6,000 Kelvins(10,340 Fahrenheit.)It should be noted that the sun surface its his cooler lair.)So,how will in Gods green earth will Alex Mercer take that?

@stealth_warrior:

Ah, so another copy/paste of your original post? As I said, I don't necessarily mind the way you do it however by taking the easy route it just benefits me a lot more due to the fact that the flaws are easily depicted and since no explanation as to why either of your team's abilities would necessarily pose significant damage to what my character's have endured or shrugged off for that matter.

For one, the argument that "Cole's lightning will greatly harm Mercer because of the Cross instance" has been refuted as you can't base a weakness off of one scenario and especially since it wasn't confirmed as opposed to the Blood-Tox Gas which is clarified as able to harm Mercer, however he gradually became resistant and (correct me if i'm wrong) eventually immune to it altogether. Anyway, most of the Conduit's attacks are heavily lacking to deal even a moderate amount of damage to the Prototypes so for instance Cole's Shock-Wave Blasts/Delsin's Smoke Blasts aren't forceful enough to send the Prototypes off of their feet but would at best stagger them only to recover quickly due to both Alex and James' bodies being made of dense biomass that causes shockwaves when they land and while running up buildings their feet constantly tear apart the structure.

As for all of Cole and Delsin's other basic abilities, there really isn't much to say as their regular attacks hardly equate the military standards that the Prototypes constantly soak and shrug off such as Cole's basic grenades and rockets lacking the standard of actual grenades. Although it would appear as if i'm lowballing the Conduits, i'm only basing my analysis on what both sides have demonstrated and in terms of actual feats? The Prototypes really don't have anything to worry about, but regardless they still have counters for any worrying damage they may receive:

  • Shields- Alex can shape-shift his biomass on his left hand into a large shield completely covering the frontal area of himself from attacks including melee damage and projectiles, it can be used while running or performing any mobile ability that doesn't hinder Alex's speed. Although the shield protects Mercer from most damage, having reached it's quota of resistance it will break and must be regenerated again. On the other hand, James' dual shields are a lot more effective as they cannot be broken by any amount of damage aside from force from goliath-like beings (and even then, they can be used again without the need of regeneration) though Heller can't use the shields while running but can be used in mid air.

Considering that it requires at least a several amount of tonnage projectiles to bypass Mercer's shields, Cole is highly out of luck in terms of fighting his way around Mercer if he sprint towards Cole while soaking Cole's electric projectiles using the shield allowing him to close the distance gap between the two and it's over from there once Mercer gets close.

As for Delsin, there's nil he has in his arsenal to defeat through the density of Heller's shields but in the miraculous scenario that he does, there's nothing stopping Heller from activating them again so Delsin's success will be a wasted effort and ends up with a swift boot to the face knocking the daylights out of him. Besides, there's another ability in stock for Mercer but he really doesn't require it to handle Cole's basics but i'll present it later on as i'll counter one of your sections. Thus far, no evidence nor explanation has been provided for the Conduits actually dealing any harm to the Prototypes but based off of my knowledge of them themselves I know for a fact that they cannot for the most part but i'll deal with how they'll handle Cole and Delsin's best attacks later.

Also,i dont see how your team is going to tuch an intangible opponent such as Delsin.Your turn.

Delsin isn't intangible at all, sure he can smoke-dash from harm but he can only do so in short bursts and once at a time. He can still be tagged in his "light-speed" run, and turning invisible would only prolong the inevitable here although it's something that could give Heller some trouble but there's a couple of catches to it that must be brought to attention:

  • Firstly, in order to stay invisible while affecting his opponents Delsin has to either subdue Heller or execute him but since you agreed to set the Conduits at good karma he must choose to subdue James. However, he won't be able to force him to the ground nor will his restraints hold at all.
  • Secondly, once he attacks with his digital great-sword he automatically becomes visible again and by doing so he's basically written a suicide note rather than take the option to escape from James but even that won't prolong anything, as Heller could pinpoint him using Sonar-Vision.

Out of all of the Conduit's basic abilities, the only useful ones I could put a pin on is Delsin's invisibility that won't aid him as long as it would need to and Cole's cryokinesis but even that won't manage to hold Mercer for long as there's nothing suggesting the ice can't be broken out of especially someone of his strength caliber. Otherwise, the Conduits aren't able to dish out anything the Prototypes can't handle based off of what they themselves have handled compared to the Conduits' destructive feats and the fact that the Prototypes possess durable shields that'll increases the gap further. With all of the basics aside, i'll consider what abilities the Conduits carry that can be put to good use here:

  • Cole's Ionic Powers - Starting with the least effective of the bunch, the Ionic Freeze is an ability that could freeze the Prototypes (not that couldn't escape from it), but it's also something easily avoidable via leaping over it. Onto the Ionic Vortex, it's certainly capable of affecting to the Prototypes however it likely won't do anything more than severely disorientate them or cause a couple of burns from it's lightning sparks but they're easily recoverable by cellular regeneration. I'll counter the Ionic Storm later concerning the paragraph you separately made on it.
  • Delsin's Karmic Streak Signatures - Again i'll start with the least effective of the three and that's the Hellfire Swarm although considering how it's focused onto one point, side-stepping it wouldn't be a problem especially considering how clearly visible the digital-swords shot up into the air are. Secondly with the Radiant Sweep and although this will be the most effective of the three, you'd need to assume it's aura could lift up beings of the Prototypes resistance/physicality as it has no showings of doing so but assuming it could, it's wouldn't be any surprise as opposed to them constantly getting rained with military firepower on a regular basis so i'm beckoned to say that no significant amount of damage will be done here. Lastly, i'll consider the Orbital Drop in the same as well in the same section as the Ionic Storm soon enough.

Another major downfall on Delsin's part is that he can only choose to use one of these abilities and must go on another streak to obtain another so he'd most likely use the Radiant Sweep but it's not going to be effective enough to significantly harm the Prototypes based on what they have endured, their rapid healing factors, and defensive abilities. On their side so much as a single punch from Alex could send Cole into a healing coma and the same applies if Heller hits Delsin, let alone handle the full-force punches from either or handle the rest of their shape-shifting abilities and signatures but to elaborate my case to prove that i'm not bluffing when I say they'll be down after one strike:

I had actually tested Heller's bare fist striking power on an idle tank the other day, he required eight full-force hits in order to blow it up and the model was an M1 Abrams which each weigh in at 61.3 Tonnes as they come so that's easily over 7.6 Tonnes of force that Heller punches with using just his fists. As for Alex, unfortunately I couldn't test it to be exact as my laptop is broken so I based it off his feat of one-shotting the military chopper instead. After taking a look at the type of helicopters Black-Watch use in the game (the chopper he kicked was from Black-Watch), they're comparable enough to an Agusta Westland Apache 1 and they weigh in at 5.1 Tonnes (unloaded) or 8 Tonnes(loaded) so the forcefulness of Mercer's kick is between those two numbers.

These type of blows were exchanged in the final battle between the two Prototypes, and both were shrugging them off so they resorted to their shape shifting abilities instead due to how futile blunt-force trauma hits were on each other. That adds more weight to my argument that the Prototypes could land a hit and be done with it in this battle, rather than the Conduit's ability to handle them because they're not keeping them off either. Consider how you easily Delsin can get overwhelmed by dealing with a portion of enemies and an auto-turret, I mean.. you really have to get to cover in order to make it out alive so I don't see how he'd keep off Heller who outclasses the DUP Forces tens of times over in all aspects, the same applies to Cole and how he'd be dealing with someone of Mercer's caliber.

lso,i should add that Cole haves the Ionic Storm.Well, you know what it is but thats not what im here to talk about.Im here to talk about that the Ionic Storm is the only thing that Cole will need.See,in his first figth against the Beast(correct me if im wrong)he performed the Ionic Storm to its full potencial.

Although the ability itself can cause a lot of trouble to the Prototypes, the premise on how it has been executed need to be carried over to how it will be executed since we're using an in character Cole. For one, it's also the only power that Cole can put to significant use in this battle but given the location and stipulations of the character himself, Cole actually performing this maneuver is highly unlikely:

  • The battle takes place in Mount Massive Asylum, containing a couple of generators in the basement along with a substantial amount of electrical lighting and television sets plus the likely scenario of functioning electrical sockets in the place. Considering how there's only one generator on the roof opposed to the plethora of power Cole will sense using radar pulse inside the asylum, which do you think he'd most likely go for? I'd really put my money on the latter, but since Cole would probably take the common sense route going inside he won't be able to use the Ionic Storm (same applies to Delsin's Orbital Drop) and if he chooses to stay outside he'll eventually drain the generator worth of electricity where as Mercer can maneuver better outdoors than Cole can so either way he's in a sticky situation, especially since Mercer won't give him a rest.
  • It's completely out of character for Cole to use this ability straight away, in his boss fights he uses this as a finisher (The Beast on two occasions, and Kessler). He won't have a clue what Mercer can do opposed to acknowledging the danger of the Beast/Kessler, so he'll start as usual by spamming him with basic attacks only to realize how it's doing very little effect but he's too late to use this by the time Mercer swipes him and tears him in half.

Ignoring those couple of variables, i'm sure you'll want an explanation on how Mercer will handle tanking this wouldn't you? Even if the above didn't factor into the equation, i'm certain that Alex could handle it based off of an analysis i'll make for his nuke regeneration feat:

Alright, although the type of nuclear bomb that Mercer was hit with is undetermined it was designed to wipe out all of Manhattan to rid the Black-Light virus so the bomb was of large city-busting capacity. The amount of force required to reach that level of destructibility is approximately 6.1 MT (6.1 Million Tons) and he basically receive a direct hit as he was in the explosive vicinity plus we'll say that Alex's biomass was reduced to a thousandth of it's full amount. If i'm correct by dividing the nuclear yielding amount by Mercer's remaining biomass, you'll find that Mercer's body can handle maximally over six kilotons (6,000 Tonnes) of force by itself until the point of regeneration needing to regenerate and/or consume and destructive force overpowers heat.

That's labeling Mercer's overall durability at the Town/Hill Level ranking and that's easily more than the destructive capacity Cole's Ionic Storm produces , so the best it'd accomplish is force Mercer to the point of regeneration by defeating his own durability i'll give you that. Of course, Mercer could nullify most of it's damage by using the shield coupled with the armored form so he'd handle this ability moderately for the most part given his durability/regeneration and convenient defensive abilities.

Post Conclusion:

  • The Prototypes physically excel in all aspects, and are too fast for Cole/Delsin to significantly spar with in combat.
  • While a couple of the Conduit's abilities can cause a lot of damage to the Prototypes, they cannot execute them greatly nor will it put either of them down based on factual feats and evidence.
  • Alex tears Cole in half, James crushes Delsin's skull in and more so with all of the abilities that are yet to be presented on their part thus leading to an easy victory for the Prototypes.

@pope052: Ok,seeing your counter reminds me of how easy its not going to be.

So,i will show something that could help the Cole in his battle against Alex

Reaction Speed:Cole can easily dogde automatic gun fire,he can dogde giant size ice-balls,he can doge opponents with superior speed,he can react much more fast than even the finnest human atlheh given the fact that he is a conduit.

Skill:He haves quite alot of skill mixing a street figth, his powers and his parkour abilities to creat his own figthing style.Along with his AMP he can give some hurt in Mercers body.

Destructive force:This may be in charather Cole but he has showed to go all out when situation demands it.He will of course do his basic attacks first but afther a wille he will be really pissed off afther not managing to defeat Alex so he will use his most powerfull attacks. He is no dummy so he knows he must get out side in order to do the Ionic Storm. The Ionic Storm will do more damage than the nuclear bomb did.Destructive force isint more powerfull than heat one example being Cyclops Optical blasts and Superman heat vision.Cyclops can nuke a island while Superman heat vision can theoreatically destroy planets.I really dont think Alex can endure a lightning five times hotter than he SUN surface.Really, think about it.If,the lightning hits Alex it will fry him or desintegrate him or even melt him.If that attac also finishes Cole he can just transfer his powers to Delsin who trougth telepatic percepition will know how to use Coles powers.Your turn.

Mercer has timed bullets from time to time, along with massively super-sonic tank shells plus kept up with opponents faster than him but Heller can properly react to tank shells as he deploys his shields at the last second before they reach him, so the Prototypes at least stalemate Cole in this aspect.

Skill:He haves quite alot of skill mixing a street figth, his powers and his parkour abilities to creat his own figthing style.Along with his AMP he can give some hurt in Mercers body.

Except this skill is absolutely negligible in comparison to the excelling military standards of combat ability Alex has at his disposal along with general superior intelligence and he maneuver on a much greater scale than Cole can in parkour. This argument is counterproductive for Cole, but a benefit for Alex also considering Cole may as well write is own name in the death note if he attempts to fight in purely hand-to-hand combat with Mercer. Alex could swipe the amp out of Cole's hands before he could swing it, so it's not the best of tactics to take that route of a fight.

Take notice to your Cyclops/Superman comparison and note one word you've made, "theoretically" so by making that example you've instantly conceded to Scott's superior demonstrations as they've performed better based on feats. Scott's optic blasts have operated on a vaster destructive scale than Clark's heat vision, so the point remains valid on force overpowering heat. Once Cole begins to realize that he isn't doing anything significant to Mercer so he'll need to get outside to perform an Ionic Storm that'll be his first and last mistake, running from Alex will be impossible as Alex would catch him before he takes a step. He can't keep Mercer off of him in order to gain a distance so either way he's screwed unless he stays outdoors but he'll drain the generator rather quickly due to the amount of power he'll have to exert.

I hate to say it but I don't deem it even necessary to bring in the Prototypes better cards to the table let alone the trump suits as thus far there's been nothing that suggests that Cole or Delsin will emerge victorious from either of their opponents but on the other hand I have demonstrated that the Prototypes possess every aspect sufficient to nail a victory over the Conduits. It's your move, I suppose.

@Pope052: Sorry for the late response!Defence:Both Cole and Delsin shine at this aspect as they both have numerous defensive moves that i will show.Lets start with Cole:He haves the Polarity Wall(Cole haves the ability to form a defensive barrier that can protect him from any kind of harm using electromagnetism) and the Frost Shield(Cole creates a small field of ultra-cold air that blocks bullets and converts them to energy.)Now onto Delsin:While using the concrete power he takes less damage from enemy attacks.Delsin can cover himself in concrete wearing it like an armor making himself living bolder.Destrutive output:When i used the term "theoretically" i was impling that Superman could and can destroy a planet/planetoid with his HV based on his feats, destructive capabilities and power scale althrough he was never showed to destroy a planet. So while Scott's blasts can knock someone out and nuke a island,Clark's HV can obliterate an army of Doomsday's and destroy planet/planetoid.I will continue on another post

@stealth_warrior:

Except Cole's Frost Shield/Polarity Wall can only cancel out projectiles and that's something the Prototypes don't have at their disposal however their offensive abilities are the shield's vulnerability which is more than convenient to the Prototypes as blunt force is their primal means of output damage. I'll admit that Delsin's concrete armor is more useful and probably reduces damage he'll receive, however while in this form he can't maneuver greatly and constantly has to run to stay in the form but either way this isn't going to significantly protect him from metric tonnage strikes:

No Caption Provided

These type of lorry trucks weigh at approximately 7.5 Tonnes while completely loaded, and that's a little less than the force the Prototypes can dish out so essentially the amount of force you're up against here is roughly the same as the speeding mass of a lorry truck crashing into either of your character which I know for a fact, the Conduits can't handle.

Anyway defense is another strong advantage to the Prototypes, if either Conduit somehow manages to force either Prototype down to the point of regeneration (which would require them to use up basically all of their abilities), they'll activate their shields and armor whilst consistently regenerating at a rate of one percent per second. Couple that with the fact that their stamina is everlasting so they'll always keep coming for the Conduits which will overwhelm them eventually, the Conduits are out of luck without their Ionic/Signature abilities. Outdoors would be best for Cole if he means to do offense but he's on a limited supply of electricity, indoors would be best for Delsin due to the tremendous amount of resources he can absorb however he won't be able to perform his signatures well disregarding one completely too.

Either way, the Conduits can't stick conveniently fight alongside one another as either Cole or Delsin will be at a disadvantage where as the Prototypes don't need to rely on a source of feeding off unless they take significant damage but then again there's plenty of lunatics they can consume within the asylum.

In this post i will focus more on Delsin.Speed:Delsin can outrace both Alex and James in this aspect.Due to Neon manipulation he can light-dash at speeds beyond any human maximum speed and he can use this power to sprint up walls and obstacles. He can also speed-blitz your team. Mobility:With Video manipulation he can create wings for himself to fly and overcome obstacles.

I'd hoped you'd make the assumption that Delsin's light-speed run is faster than the Prototypes sprinting speed, because it's simply not as I have compared the two simultaneously for assurance and Delsin isn't blitzing the Prototypes if he can't hurt them to begin with, plus the fact that they've dealt with faster opponents than themselves such as Alex defeating leader hunters or James besting superior evolved.

To give you a better view of how excelling these two are in sprinting, here's a comparison to see that the Prototypes are faster Delsin's light-speed sprint (and also which Prototype is the faster one among the two and it's been proven that it's Heller). As you can see, the Prototypes sprint faster and can maneuver much better with the exception of Delsin's speed run being faster at running up buildings, but that's it and the Prototypes mobility make up for that slight inferiority.

Attacks: When using Neon he mades his chain rigid in a sword-like fashion and when using Video he creats a very powerfull digital sword. He haves the bloodthirsty blades, this attack is when he marks the target and summon three blades from the sky and the blades pursue the target, impaling the latter. He haves his karmic attacks that are the Radiant Sweep in wich he charges himself in Neon and then creates a massive explosion leaving nothing but flames and the Orbital Drop, when he desmaterilizes into three smoke ball and goes up in the air. Upon reaching a specific heigh he materilizes himself falling down and exploding into smoke and ember

I don't see how the neon blade would affect the Prototypes at all really nor outmatch the weaponry they can form with their biomass, that i'll get into detail about later. The video great-sword is powerful indeed, but they've handled forceful attacks from tremendously stronger opponents such as Hunters, Brawlers and Juggernauts so they'll be tanking hits from this without problems.

The blood thirsty blades are probably going to be slightly effective to the Prototypes and could certainly give Delsin some room to breath, however I don't see why they won't be able to deflect the swords with their shields but their own durability can handle the attack and then they'll proceed to get straight back up to sprint for Delsin. I've already been over the signature maneuvers, the Radiant Sweep is the only properly effective one that'll only succeed in diminishing the Prototypes to the point of regeneration at most but that's assuming Delsin could last that long for a start. The Orbital Drop is only usable outside, but there's only a couple of chimneys opposed to the goldmine of power in the asylum.

The Conduits aren't durable enough, fast enough and their attacks lack the sufficient force to keep the Prototypes off their backs and doing so would require a lot of their power so they'll require to use most of their energy which is inconvenient so they'll have to rely on their trump cards at the beginning of the fight in order to stand a chance, that of which the Prototypes have sufficient counters against. Thus the result, they'll get overwhelmed relatively fast due to being so physically/speedily outmatched coupled with their attacks lacking force but to achieve significance at all they'd have to be using up too much energy to plausibly spar with the Prototypes, even more so considering their better and best cards that haven't been played:

Shape-Shifting Abilities:

The Prototypes can manipulate their biomass in a variety of ways however probably the most prominent and volatile ways they can do it is by shifting their upper limbs into deadly weaponry ranging at deadly piercing damage to immense blunt-force trauma, the primaries are as follows (also if both Prototypes possess the same ability to roughly the same extent, i'll only post a link video for one of them):

  • Claws - They're pretty self explanatory, large razor-sharp claws replace the Prototypes hands that are used to slice and dice the opponent. Although these are almost completely ineffective against dense military armor, they're convenient for slicing through dense flesh on difficult opponents.
  • Whip Fist - A long sharpened tendril is formed on one of the Prototype's arms and is used to deal substantial damage to opponents while sustaining a safe distance. It's a highly overpowered ability that has been used to destroy helicopters in a couple of hits, and basically prevents any means of an opponent so this can be a highly defensive as well as offensive ability to put to use.
  • Blade - A deadly, five-foot long blade is formed on and completely replaces the Prototype's arms which deals devastating piercing damage to durable enemies as well as military armor too. It has an effective air slice maneuver, the Prototypes leap into the air and shoot to the ground slicing their blade through the victim and severely damaging tougher opponents depending on the level.
  • Hammer Fists - Different from the previous few piercing damage attacks, the hammer fists form the Prototypes fists into highly dense and heavy biomass blocks capable of destroying tanks in as little as a couple to three hits at most which can also be used in a variety of ways.
  • Muscle Mass - This ability is unique to Alex, it converts his arms into large black muscles and this doubles his strength and striking power capable of throwing cars at double the power for instance. Since Alex already hits with at least 5 Tonnes of force so he'd hit with 10 Tonnes using this ability.
  • Tendrils - This power replaced muscle mass and the ability is only usable by Heller, converting his arms into large black fists composed of tendrils that splatter opponents on impact. They have an intriguingly effective attribute that performs similar to a black hole, Heller latches the tendrils onto a target and multiples of that shoot out from the original pulling everything within the vicinity into it's center, often creating explosions and is convenient for killing larger opponents.

There's more to be said regarding the rest of the Prototype's abilities and trump cards, however this should be sufficient for this post so like I said I won't be able to reply again until Friday probably so it's your move Stealth.

@Pope052: I think Cole can kepp Alex off him with the TK Blast and Frezze Rocket that is when Cole makes a rocket-shaped projectile of sub-zero gazes(Sub-zero gazes can frezze anything on contact.Anything.) and delivers them to the target at great speed frezzing the target.Once Cole gets outside he will drain all the power from the roff generator, consume a Ionic charge and deliver a full-force and full-temperature Ionic Storm to Alex who will them melt as the lightning is 5 times hotter than the sun's surface.Cole is no dummy,so he knows that this attack will finish all of hes energy so he could and should find a way to make Alex be near or ontop of the generator so that when it hits Alex it will also charge up the generator. Also, whats stopping Cole from conjuring a F-5 Ionic Vortex on Alex.Whats also stoping Cole from using electromagnetism as an attack on Alex. The Conduits haves the power output and the destructive force to wipe out The Prototypes. When Alex is dead it will be a 2 on 1 fight.Your turn.

@stealth_warrior:

You haven't provided any feats nor evidence that Cole's shock waves could keep Alex away from him nor prove any effectiveness against him at all bar the exception of the ionic powers, there's no evidence that I can recall that the ice is "sub-zero" so you'd need evidence of that claim plus he can't consume an ionic charge unless he defeats an enemy but going into an enclosed asylum would be his worst mistake. He'd be trapped against someone who will reach him in seconds and tear him to shreds. Cole has trouble with mobile opponents on a fairly regular basis, so there's no utmost cemented proof that he'd be able to keep up with Alex at all where as there's enough evidence to suggest that Alex could end the battle in a matter of seconds depending on how he'd want to do it.

Also, whats stopping Cole from conjuring a F-5 Ionic Vortex on Alex.

He'd be dead before he thought of doing so, given the fact that he wouldn't know what hit him once Mercer's fist connects with his face so you're out of luck suggesting Cole could pull anything significant out of his arsenal before he gets his skull crushed.

Whats also stoping Cole from using electromagnetism as an attack on Alex.

Alex being superior in everything actually considerable that's not based on assumptive arguments instead of some form of worthwhile evidence.

The Conduits haves the power output and the destructive force to wipe out The Prototypes. When Alex is dead it will be a 2 on 1 fight.

No they don't, where as on the other hand to be honest the Prototypes wouldn't even consider the Conduits a challenge at all considering how quickly they'd be knocked out plus their lack in physicals and speed to contend. I haven't even shown the Prototype's best abilities, but i'm not bothered with this anymore and i'm willing to cut to the voting as nothing significant has been said on your part nor any actual counter to my argument so this will be my finale albeit a lightly detailed one for reasons said. You can make another post if you wish, but after that it's time for the voting at this rate.

I am with the Prototypes: Pope didn't even have to bring the Prototypes Devestators, which can be popped after consuming a decent number of targets (which are ample in this scenario), and are building busters in their own right. Nor did he have to mention that given that Conduit abilities are biological in nature (caused by a gene specific to Conduits) the Prototypes could consume them to jack their powers, and given their memory absorption abilities, immediately be just as effective, if not more so than the original Conduits.

I like the Conduits, I really do, but they were completely outmatched here on every front.
