This is going to be awesome. Finally Master Roshi is in a debate.

#3 Edited by Pokergeist (22351 posts) - - Show Bio

@neongamewave I will start the ball rolling with Genkai is a actual train Martial Artist of the highest caliber in the YYH Mangas and wins by default thanks to her young form after using a powerful attack.

Win.

#4 Edited by NeonGameWave (8970 posts) - - Show Bio

@cadencev2: Genkai would win under these circumstances. However, what are the conditions? Are morals on and is bloodlust off?

#5 Edited by Pokergeist (22351 posts) - - Show Bio

@neongamewave: In character, and we will say Genkai is masked so her good looks will not interfere here.

@cadencev2: Lets begin. Now Roshi as many know is a great fighter as he is the greatest martial arts master within DB, he is extremely fast as shown with his fight with Krillin. Roshi was fighting Krillin within the duration of 1 second or 1/5th of a second which ultimately means his reaction time, combat speed, and reflexes would be ranging in the milliseconds and this is Roshi holding back he`s in base form when in the performing of these feats. Roshi ultimately would be more faster, powerful and etc when at max power which would boost up his ki.

Roshi catches all 9 bullets even during the time when they are being fired at a continuous rate and that the same time Roshi had turn around at the same moment during the time when he caught the bullets in his hands. This would take the right timing and the right reaction as well as precision in regards to being able to catch all fired bullets from a machine gun and it also takes good perception along with reflexes to be able to catch all of the bullets.

Roshi creates multiple after images and he does this technique effortlessly in which he causes Tien some confusion.

Roshi moves his hand so fast in which he builds up enough momentum and speed within the flow of motion that was powerful enough to knock back Yamcha a 68 km superhuman and this force made Yamcha also smash into a wall at the same time within the flow of movement in which he was knocked out of the ring and this was done by Roshi in his base form.

Roshi knocks back a werewolf with a paralyzing strike and the werewolf cannot even move.

Roshi harms Goku greatly with a lightning attack and this lightning attack keeps Goku in a trapping of an energy field that is surrounding Goku as a result of Roshi`s lightning attack.

Roshi uses hypnosis to trick and confuse the werewolf into believing that there is a moon in which he turns him back to normal and he also uses it on Goku to make him fall asleep. He also was able to read Namu`s mind at the 21st Budokai and he did this with no trouble which means he could probably read Genkai`s mind and thus understand her movements when in combat.

Roshi uses the Sui Ken-Drunken Fist Technique against Goku and he is able to get the upper hand and he also uses a after image technique in which Goku wasn`t able to keep up or catch him when launching an attack.

Roshi is fast enough to keep up with Tien in close combat and he knocks out the werewolf with one strike.

At max power Roshi was powerful enough to destroy the Moon with a Kamehameha blast and this causes Goku to revert back to his normal state.

The following scans show Roshi putting out the fire on a huge mountain and as a side effect is it destroyed along with the castle.

Roshi puts the fires out on Fire Mountain with his Kamehameha blast and this was a huge mountain as well Roshi concentrated his ki to target a specific key point when he launched this attack. But something that is interesting which occurred within this event is the side effect of the attack in which it was powerful enough to destroy the mountain and castle in the process.

Roshi counters Krillin and uses his after image technique in which he has him knocked out instantly also Roshi wasn`t really trying when he went up against Krillin, he blocked all of his attacks.

@neongamewave: Not to interfere in the battle proper. But in the scans. The ones that sequence the destruction of the moon is off. The first one in that set is actually from Roshi putting out the fire with his Kameha wave. Not his destruction of the moon.

I believe you are right, there must of been a mistake when I was posting the scans for the moon busting feat, one of the links must of gotten mixed up, however I fixed the issue.

There you are. There's a few scenes after it between that and your final one. But that's the actual display of the destuction of the moon. *Salutes* One weird thing I notice. Whats with the moon bits raining down on Krillin and the others? Weird right? Okay back to the debate. I am really genuinely looking forward to this.

Good question and I agree it is a bit strange but it could of just been a small inconsistency or the blast did not completely encompass the moon when it was fired at that exact moment, I re-posted the entire set of scans and there was definitely a mix up within the scans I was trying to post previously but thank you for posting your scans and I appreciate the awesome input as well as support, I too am also looking forward to it.

@neongamewave: Game on. Genkai is a master martial artist and the most famous in spirit world as well human world. She is the master of the Reiki Techniques.

Her power in it was well known. she was also a Expert Martial Artist, mastering complex disciplines like the 5 Major Fist.

She is the best.

In fact her skills are so good she won the Dark Tournament in her prime with the Toguros to be granted one wish. A Tournament filled with the B class demons. Then in her weaken state halfway thru Yuske's Dark Tourney, she gave alot of her power to Yuske. Yet severely weaken her skill and power was too much for the Semi Finals!

She has shown many Techniques with her power.

Aura sense.

Insane Running speed.

Energy Absorbing to replenish hers as well redirecting energy back in one attack!

Here she shouts away 2 Gaint size Men with a scream!

Now Master Roshi has a powerful moon busting Kamehameha attack. However it takes a lengthy time to charge up to that level. To Use in a Hyper sonic Battle it is almost pointless.

However Genkai has Boulder Destroying Spirit Gun attacks. She has many shots that She can Pull off the same speeds she moves at.

She also has the Wide Range Spirit Shotgun Attack.

Her Durability is incredible as well. Tanking this full on blast from Suziki.

Then her Speed is equal to Toguro at 80% power while she was depowered heavily. Close to Mach 6 easy if not more before giving Yuske her power. Moves so fast here (after being depowered) to steal Suziki's nose while standing good 50 feet away, and she did not even appeared to move!

Genkai Training with Yuske is so tough that after 2 weeks Yuske went from Street Level to Iron Man Level.

She is extremely skill in H2H as well. Here she fights of 3 Mind Dominated super Martial Artist while keeping Yuske and Kurabara alive as well keeping her team from killing them. What was a life or death fight to Yuske and Kurababra as well the 3 Opponents was merely a teaching lesson to Yuske.

Now peaople will say "OMG Roshi blew up a moon!" Even tho it takes way to long to pull off the move, Genkai power is pretty great as well, in fact it is so great it equals a SMALL SUN in power!

This is Genkai's Power Level.

@cadencev2:

Awesome points along with awesome scans. However, Roshi is one of the best if not the best and here are the reasons why. Roshi is one of the main reasons Goku is the great fighter he is today, he trained both Goku and Krillin as he put them through interesting tests in which they trained mentally as well as physically. He is also the first and only at the time during the earlier parts of Dragon Ball to master the Kamehameha technique and he`s been around for a very long time and he is recognized as being the greatest during the Budokai Tournaments.

Roshi pushes Krillin and Goku to be the absolute best it shows his expertise when in the field of training and skill. Roshi is extremely fast as shown within the training he did with both Krillin and Goku he ran right passed Goku and Krillin in about 5 seconds or 5.6 seconds to be more accurate to that of the character`s portrayal as well as first idea put into perspective.

Roshi throws a stone purposely as far as it reaches into the jungle that houses many dangers and he does this as a way to test both Krillin and Goku as he tests their willingness and efforts it shows how far Roshi would go even to have them compete or complete a task if it is to have dinner or a meal. Roshi is mentally and by will pushed in the boundaries of absolute skill, fighting condition and testing.

Roshi is recognized as the best and is a very respected individual in terms of martial arts even when disguised as Jackie Chun during the Budokai he dodges all of Krillin`s attacks close range and he knocks Krillin into a wall with one simple strike in which Krillin has a nose bleed. Krillin is also really fast in terms of combat speed yet Roshi dodges him swiftly and utilizes after image techniques which are faster than what the eye can see.

Roshi although being propelled in the air by Krillin`s kick is still able to rebound while in the air at high speeds and he fires off a Kamehameha wave just to prove a point and Roshi is known worldwide for this technique the only one to perform the attack and this also shows that Roshi wouldn`t need to waste time in charging the kamehameha when he can fire it in base form as quick as he possibly can even when in battle. This also proves that Roshi wouldn`t need to power up his Kamehameha in which he would taking up a lot of valuable time he can fire it instantly but if he wants to pack more punch than he would rather want it focused and this Kamehameha was done even when Roshi was propelled or knocked high into the air so it also shows how incredible Roshi`s reflexes as well as reaction time is and Roshi also could use this as a way to catch Genkai off guard if he`s knocked into the air and etc.

He takes out Krillin with great precision and timing as he is able to dodge Krillin who runs at extreme speeds and he creates another after image in which he has him knocked out cold in an instant also Roshi was able to get behind Krillin as well which shows his skill and patience.

Roshi dodges Yamcha at close range and Yamcha is a skilled fighter as he is also a superhuman, Roshi also effortlessly avoids the Wind Wolf Attack as he appears right behind Yamcha who is caught off guard as he is also surprised.

Roshi uses his Drunken Fist style to get the better of Goku and he is able to intercept his movements with no real trouble and he also is able to outmaneuver Goku during the course of the fight.

Roshi`s lightning technique damages Goku to a significant degree and the attack entraps Goku. Goku was saved and put out of harm`s way by his Oozaru form which allowed him to overcome Roshi`s technique and lightning is at least by fact as well as basic knowledge hotter than the surface of the sun if Genkai gets hit by this technique then she will be in a lot of pain and the attack will entrap her as well. The temperature of the air that surrounds a bolt of lightning is about 54,000° Fahrenheit (30,000° Celsius) and this is how hot lightning can get, which is basically six times hotter than that of the surface of the sun. This attack is also a harnessed attack which Roshi focuses which means he would use it a the right time it doesn`t take a lot of charging or harnessing its a straightforward as well as focused attack and Roshi fires it instantly even Goku the very same individual who dodges lasers, creates after images and etc is unable to avoid this attack also Roshi can focus the attack in order to make it more deadly as even knew the more Goku would be entrapped within the electrical force the greater his chances of death would be.

Roshi and Goku collide at extreme speeds in which both of their kicks impact with great striking force as both go down or crash into the stone ground, Roshi is the one to be victorious even after fighting for an extended period of time and he is declared the winner of the Budokai Tournament. Its very impressive due to the fact that Goku has shown to have enough force to knock back an incoming missile which can produce a small nuke in regards to destructive capacity and this same striking force hit Roshi head on. Goku also has enough striking force to crack and break through steel mech but Roshi is able to endure through Goku`s enhanced ki punches and he counters back during the course of their fight. Roshi also was in his base form and not at maximum strength when he took on Goku he also was testing him as hinted throughout the battle and as evidently shown within his mindset if he were to go all out he would of probably took out Goku sooner although he fought more seriously since Goku didn`t pull his punches and this furthers my point about Roshi`s durability he was able to tank Goku`s punches, kicks and strikes in full force the same attacks Goku uses to destroy machines and knock back large missiles that are moving at high speeds. Roshi`s durability at max power would definitely skyrocket since his ki level would go up thanks to a massive power boost.

Roshi fights Tien on even grounds and Tien is a very skilled as well as disciplined fighter, Roshi parries, counters and dodges many of Tien`s attacks also even when he was hit directly by Tien`s Solar Flare he was able to keep going during the fight and his attacks also wear down Tien also he produces many after images during the fight in which he throws Tien off balance and Tien couldn`t predict many of his moves. Even with a third eye, Tien is not adaptive to the nature and dynamics of the fight as Roshi is and Roshi was even able to block as he also reflected Tien`s Kamehameha with his bare hands and the Kamehameha is raw energy, Roshi is able to perceive the attack in regards to movement and at that moment he reflected it with no real effort also he was able to sense Tien`s energy and he admitted that the sheer output of the attack could kill some of the audience which is many of the people who are surrounded as they are seated near the arena, Roshi can tell how powerful Tien`s destructive output was which is why he reflected the attack into the air. Roshi would probably be able to reflect and redirect Genkai`s attacks at the right moment due to his perception within combat and his resistance is really impressive as well. Tien put a lot of ki into that Kamehameha wave and the attack was moving at a considerable speed yet Roshi was able to block and repel the attack with no real effort and this was done by Roshi in base form rather than his truly powered form.

Roshi blocks a knife and holds Man Wolf in the air without no trouble as he is able to disarm the Man Wolf as well. Roshi accomplished with absolute ease and he did so with great focus as well as with great perceptibility this further shows that Roshi is an individual of great focus, patience and calmness this will help in his fight with Genkai.

Also due to being able to read minds he would have an edge over Genkai as he would be able to predict her movements and create strategies for them as well. Overall before his death and revival Roshi would be at the age of 430 and during his revival he was 774 he might also have the experience advantage over Genkai he has been training and fighting for many years. Roshi trained many during the many years and made them into exceptional fighters he is a fighting master just like Genkai but has the experience as well and the understandings of what makes a great fighter his vast knowledge will serve a meaningful purpose within the realm of battle when facing Genkai, Roshi would be pushed to his absolute limits and would use his more unique abilities with his telepathy he would be able to understand Genkai more and more in regards to her limitations, tactics and movements on top of that Roshi would be able to pinpoint as well as have the right timing to launch his Kamehameha attack.

@neongamewave:

Roshi Training is not has hard as Genkais. As Genkai Training is life and death.

Give Yuske the spirit Orb as the last test, proving he can hold the power of a small sun in his body.

This is also a great durability showing for Genkai as this is her power she holds in her body, it nearly kills Yuske.

Spirit Cuffs that made every life or death battle for Yuske a handicap.

The biggest advantage Roshi has over his opponents is speed. However Genkai can see and react to Mach 3 attacks easy as well Mach 3.5 Speeds (The Speed needed to appear not to move to a human eyes) easy.

She was able to track this Sniper Speed Eraser (Size of a pea) and where it was shot from by the human with powers called Sniper.

Also Genkai Skill in combat is more proven to me than Roshi who as I said relies on his clear speed advantage vs slower opponents.

Genkai Gauntlet!

At the end of the Dark Tourney Genkai gives up 4/5s of her power to Yuske. She then fights 3 matches Straight in a row in this weaken form.

1st match Vs Shishi!

not only can she move at Mach Speeds in her weakest form, she is able to drain power from attacks to restore hers as well redirect attacks via her Mirror Technique.

2nd match Vs Suzuki

Suzuki power alone is greater than Krillins and Yamcha combine. Genkai at her weakest tank these attacks, speed blitz him by grabbing his nose, and then pummels his face.

After these last 2 matches Genkai fights Toguro. Toguro who amps up to 80%. No small feat how long she survive this last match after fighting 2 matches before it and at 1/5 power from the get go. She was outclass and weaken in every way. She still puts up a fight and keeps from being Speed Blitz by Toguro who is mach 5 (by feats) in this form.

Poor Old Girl dies after the brutal Gauntlet at 1/5th power against a King Piccolo level Toguro.

I do not belive Roshi will read Genkai's mind. Another Mind Reader has tried this to no avail.

I do know Roshi will have a Hard Time dodging Genkais invisible Spirit Blast as she can refine her Aura to be invisible to those who can see Aura.

At the end of the day I would say Genkai is in fact faster and more skilled than Roshi.

Her Spirit Gun actually damage Toguro badly at 80%. A Being who tanks 30 ton punches without being faze to the face. Also Each spirit Gun is as fast a Genkai. Making it hard to dodge by Roshi.

Also using all those Martial Art Techniques and Abilities with her Spirit Wave make Roshi only form of attack, the Kamehameha Wave, redundant.

That is all I have for Genkai.

@cadencev2:

That is a good point but Roshi puts Goku and Krillin in danger by having them seek out the stone within the jungle. Also he gas Krillin and Goku work extremely hard under extreme conditions. Roshi has Krillin wake up early in the morning to do work within the fields and they barely get any rest also he has them swim within the lake as a shark comes after them he puts them in life and death situations, Genkai more so would have Yusuke tested brutally under pressure but Roshi`s methods and tactics aren`t so simple or softly tuned either. He puts Goku and Krillin under extreme conditions and he has them pressured to complete the tasks so they may eat and survive on top of that their very young, Goku is only a kid, Yusuke is more so a teen that was prepared and ready to face that moment unlike Goku who was forced and pushed at such an early stage. Also he has Krillin and Goku stung by many angry bees in which he cracks the Bee Hive also he is able to outrun the bees even after he cracks the hive instantly and the bees hurt Goku as well as Krillin.

That is impressive but Roshi was able to intercept and catch 9 bullets in his hand at the same time even under continuous fire also his back was turned. He also knocks back a huge soldier named Captain Dark with one blow to the stomach and this is Roshi not really going all out. He also is able to knock many armed henchmen who have firearms he does this instantly from multiple angles and right after he catches machine gun fire with no problem, Genkai is fast but Roshi is on par if not faster also he would be hypersonic+ at least beyond that of Dragon Ball.

Roshi knocks around Man-Wolf with ease and doges all of his strikes also he knocks him back so hard he crashes into a stone wall and it also cracks, Roshi is even able to paralyze Man Wolf with one simple strike or gesture and he is able to control him effortlessly he even uses hypnosis to turn him back into a human, Genkai has no answer for these types of techniques and on top of all those unique techniques is the ability to read minds so Roshi would be able to predict and understand her movements while undergoing his plans for battle.

Roshi at max power was aiming and concentrating his energy into firing at the exact location or area in which the fire is heavily present but in the process his attack also takes out the large mountain as well as castle and although he might take awhile when charging the attack he still would have good aim as well as timing in regards to where he would want to hit the target also Roshi could use it as a strategy and delay in which he could use his lesser Kamehameha which doesn`t take that much time to charge.

Roshi would win due to the many advantages he has in techniques, speed and striking strength also he can read minds which means he would be able to predict Genkai`s moves before she makes them and she wouldn`t expect it as well which gives Roshi the further edge in unpredictability she might be a more hardcore when it comes to fighting but Roshi is no slouch and he fights serious when the time calls for it. Also Roshi can block her Spirit Gun with a Kamehameha and with his mind reading ability he would figure it out also before it becomes a critical issue, Roshi doesn`t only have the Kamehameha he also has his lightning strike and kiai which he used against Yamcha this ability or form of energy is an invisible aura that can serve as an offensive maneuver when in the defensive mindset of combating the opposing threat and Roshi could use against Genkai which means it would work as a form of telekinesis he wouldn`t have to touch Genkai.

@neongamewave:

I still stand by Genkai's Training as alot harser. Bees and what not are cute, however Genkai allows 14 year old kids compete in Life or Death matches with train killers to see who would take over her mantle. She ven stood by as the Demon Rando was about to kill Yuske as she said whoever wins gets her training, evil or not. she is very cold and calculating person at times.

Example are Yuske vs Kibano.

Here Kabino was ready to kill Yuske, Genkai made a match for everyone to fight in pitch black and rely on 6th sense, something Yuske lacks, putting him in mortal danger again.

Like Yuske Life or Death battle against a Jitsu Master and Killer Kaze.

Or Kurabara (another 14 year old) vs this Kendo Master.

She simply has a strict training and selection process. Everything is life and death with her.

To finish this Genaki is again the master Martial artist on earth and knows just about every technique and Spirit Power in the World.

She and Toguro won the Dark Tournament, the most deadly battle arena on earth, against city busting demons for a reason. They are the best.

As I am using pre depowered Genkai (Giving Yuske her Power) she will easily match Roshi best with the power of a small sun and her superior Martial Arts knowledge and skill.

I have nothing else in my collection for Genkai. I'm ready for Votes.

@cadencev2: Your points are very awesome and those are amazing scans, I agree Genkai can be pretty calculating and intelligently conniving however Roshi has his fair share of coldness, unpredictability and cleverly maniacal shenanigans. Now in full depth as shown along with the scans in its entirety you can see the training sessions that test the very nature of one`s survival instincts and well being. I too stand by my opinion, I believe Roshi to be the pusher while Genkai more so serves as an enforcer however their methods do not really differ one is unpredictably dangerous and cut throat while the other is manipulatively and cunningly cold.

Roshi`s Training Sessions

Roshi has Krillin and Goku pushes to their absolute limits in the most deceivingly and sugar coated way in which he even has a stone thrown in the middle of the jungle purposely and the jungle is filled with wild animals that almost kill Krillin also Goku had many problems as while in this jungle and he could of gotten killed as well. Also during the time of training while in the session of looking for the stone both Krillin and Goku become more brutally and less concerned when in a competitive mind state in which they pull off cheap and downgrading tactics on one another to retrieve the stone also during the first segment of their training, Roshi has Krillin and Goku purposely frightened as a way to belittle them in his own kind of way as he also pushes them beyond their limits and what they know in regards to the world that encompasses them.

Roshi wakes Krillin and Goku up 4:00 am in the morning just to begin training and these are young kids as well and he has them carry heavy boxes of milk as they also collect empty bottles and he planned to have this as a regular routine for 8 months also he put them both in danger when a dinosaur came along and try to eat them.

Also Roshi has Goku and Krillin dig up an entire field with their bare hands and although he gives them rest as well as food he still has them pushed the next day even more so to test them more so than benefit. He has them push a huge rock with their hands and he purposely also hits a bee hive to have them stung after all of the training they have endured through these are little kids not hardened teenagers who put themselves in certain types of dangers during the earlier courses of their life.

Roshi has Goku and Krillin swim in a lake that has a huge and deadly shark he also has them do this training exercise 10 times which means they had to swim in the same lake 10 times with the shark which could of ate and killed them also Roshi clearly did know there was a shark he was playing stupid the whole time like he does most of the training sessions there is a sense of unpredictability and carelessness. Roshi stood there as if nothing was happening and he waited for the results to come in even if they were not to survive. This also took place after they moved the giant rock which took quite the toll on both Krillin and Goku who are very young kids also they had to swim which requires the movement of the arms and the mechanics involving the muscles.

That is true and impressive but Roshi won many Budokai Tournaments as he is recognized as being the best as well as the first to master the Kamehameha Wave he taught many and he has the experience to back it up. Roshi is known throughout the world and he is respected by all throughout the world in regards to his contributions to fighting. Genkai may be very skilled and powerful but Roshi has the experience, skill and techniques to match her or surpass her even in his base form he still will be great a challenge he would be able to match her speed with his after images, reflexes and maneuverable cleverness and Roshi at full power might lose his speed but he surely won`t lose his power or durability he would be powerful enough to fire a Kamehameha that can destroy the moon itself in one concentrated blast also Roshi has shown that he can pinpoint this attack and harness it. Roshi also has hypnosis in which he would be able to hypnotize Genkai in which he would be able to control her and have her humiliated also another critical point is Roshi`s mind reading abilities in which he would be able to read Genkai`s mind and she wouldn`t know or expect it which means Roshi would be able to follow and counter her movements her Spirit Attacks wouldn`t be as effective or as useful due to the fact that Roshi would be able to predict her moves and dodges her incoming attacks that were launched at specific time as well as speed within combat. Roshi would dodge her attacks and he would also shock her as well as stun her with his lightning strike technique which he launches instantly and this attack is hotter than the surface of the sun I don`t believe Genkai has the necessary durability to be able to withstand this attack and at the same time this same attack entraps the individual who is being inflicted the pain which ultimately means Genkai would also be trapped within the technique while being shocked, Roshi could also harness the attack to make it hurt more or inflict greater pain. Genkai probably has the determination to win but Roshi has the technique, speed, power and etc to win. His speed is very great as he was able to catch machine gun fire while having his back turned and focused when fighting other armed individuals also Roshi`s strikes are very devastating he was able to launch Yamcha a superhuman out of the ring and Yamcha smashed straight through a stone wall due to the force of Roshi`s kiai which he would use against Genkai it would act as an invisible force to her attacks as well as methods, Roshi was able to take full force hits from Goku who has the strength to break through steel and hit back incoming missiles also Roshi even while being temporarily blinded by Tien`s Solar Flare he still was able to fight back and pursue the battle at hand, so even if Genkai attacks Roshi with everything she has it will only make Roshi want to fight with more and fight at maximum potential. Also if Roshi is knocked back he could always rebound or come back around with a Kamehameha which doesn`t really take long to charge only depicted when Roshi is using his maximum potential he could use this attack for multiple effects in regards to achievement he can propel himself backwards to avoid Genkai`s attacks he could do so to catch Genkai off guard and he can use it as a method of overpowering in which he would be able to launch the attack at high speeds while in the air in which it would serve as a further distraction for him to fight Genkai at another angle without her knowing it. Also Roshi doesn`t merely utilize his speed to overcome his opponents he also uses his patience, skill and perception to overcome that of his opponents` abilities and unique advantages, Tien who has a Third Eye which gives him further sight is unable to detect and intercept Roshi`s after image technique this further proves the point and idea that Genkai wouldn`t have the speed or element of surprise advantage Roshi would be at the top of his A game when he goes up against Genkai and his techniques will help him pull off a win due to the fact that Genkai wouldn`t have an exact or protective counter for them, Roshi on the other hand has Telepathy and has enough speed as well as raw power to contend or surpass Genkai in the many categories he might look or seem to be lacking, Roshi would turn his strengths into his weaknesses and through his skill, experience, speed, power and strength he would be granted a honorable win against Genkai but Genkai would push him beyond his limits.

I too have no more feats for Roshi, I`m ready for votes.

I didn't get into dragon ball until Goku was grown. by that time Roshi was into women not fighting. I have never seen Roshi do a blast or a kick.

@cadencev2: @neongamewave: I just read the opening segment on Roshi and had no idea he could do that stuff. Very good. i can't wait to read about Genkai. I have never even heard of her.

@pooty: Roshi is definitely something awesome and impressive in regards to his fighting abilities, and I`m very happy that you are enjoying the debate so far! Genkai is also awesomely powerful and she is extremely skilled, she`s no pushover.

Wow great debate guys(= both of you has done a great job debating for you character that being said I'm going with@neongamewave: here I think his points were better. Speaiking of challenge a Viner *remembers he has a Naruto vs Yusake thread with Candence* *goes to make his case*

@cadencev2: @neongamewave: I'm imagining both of them fighting using the info you guys gave. it could easily go either way. if they had 11 random fights I think:

Genkai wins 5. Roshi wins 6

Really really enjoyed this debate!!!

Wow what an awesome debate! This was quite a read needless to say. Both Cadence and neon made incredibly comprehensive points and analysis of why their characters would win over their opponents. It's almost too tough to call, both in terms of debating skills and how closely matched these characters are. However, the person who I feel made the most coherent points in this debate was @neongamewave: so I'll give my vote to him by a whisker. Great job to the both of you!

Belive It!

@pooty: Now you pop your Roshi Cherry lol.

@neongamewave: @cadencev2: Roshi is fast but i'm sure Genkai can keep up, Cadence gets the edge but i think Roshi can end it with kamehameha, it could go either way.

@neongamewave

Good job, bud. However, I must say this was a stalemate.
