versus

battle takes place in Blue Area of the Earth's Moon.. no powers for Storm, no weapons for Catwoman..

this is a battle of pure hand to hand fighting skill..

who do you guys think is the superior fighter? all comments are welcome.. XD

i know Storm is an extremely good hand to hand fighter, probably one of the best in the line of heroines.. i also remember Storm holding her own against two Dora Milaje, the deadliest and best warriors Wakanda can offer..

Storm even defeated Callisto who has peak human qualities and the Red Commando who was said also equal to Captain America. Not to mention defeating Wolverine in hand to hand combats and winning against Cyclops without using her powers.. not to mention the number of opponents she defeated such as warriors and demons.. not to mention breaking the bones of her husband Black Panther and participating in a battle arena as a gladiator..

so in defense of Catwoman, who i also think is a great fighter, can someone please show us her feats and the list of opponents she defeated in battle.. thanks..

Storm is pretty well versed in H2H fighting too. But just not yet on the same level as Catwoman.

how good is she anyways.. and who are the top tiers she fought and managed to defeat.. also, please kindly post scans if possible.. all i know is she stalemated Huntress before, but not sure about that too.. is she better than assassins and stuff like that?

@lord_oraculous016: Depends on what type of assassins we are talking about. Specified ones or those normal hitman ones? Also, I can't give you any specific names. But let us put in mind that Catwoman does fight Batman regularly and usually gives him a good fight IMO.

@wildcat: top tier ones.. like Batman and guys same league as him.. isn't Wolverine as good as Batman is H2H skills or close? is Callisto comparable or better than Catwoman?

Hmmm I'm still not sure....I've seen Storm fight people who are stronger, faster and more experienced fighters than her and Catwoman, and yet she still won....

This is what I am thinking as well but I am not sure. Batman is clearly superior to eveyone Storm has fought (except maybe BP) but I doubt Catwoman can go the distance in a fight with him (maybe landing blows but would likely lose). How does Huntress's h2h skills compare to Callisto or the Dora Milaje? Callisto and the Dora Milaje are probably the most skilled fighters Storm has fought and either held her own (did well against the Dora Milaje) or defeated (Callisto) but there also a decent list of enhanced or peak human opponents Storm has also fought and defeated (not to mention fighting and defeating multiple opponents simultaneously on her own).

My knowledge of Catwoman isn't the most exstensive, but I do know she was trained by and spars with Wildcat on a daily basis. She also was trained by Richard Dragon, unless this was retconned. She is a pretty good Hand 2 Hand fighter and has alot more training and experience than Storm in Hand to Hand combat. I'll look for feats, but I'm pretty sure Catwoman would win this one.

I'm open to Catwoman being a better h2h fighter but Storm has a long history of h2h training and experience that goes back when she was a child. Storm received h2h training from when she was a kid by Achmed El Gibar (already sufficient at that age to take out multiple opponents and even adults), plus she received extensive training from the Black Panther and Wolverine, both of whom are among Marvel's top tier fighters.

I disagree with this statement. There are a number of h2h feats for Storm that display that she is a skilled h2h fighter. If your stating that Catwoman's h2h feats trumps Storm, I am open to that but so far the only posts I've seen for Catwoman in this forum indicate she has fought Batman, with no details of the circumstances or how well she did, and I doubt she could take him anyway, and the fight with Huntress, who's h2h skill level I am not clear on, didn't sound like a fair fight.

@THUNDERBOLT30: Well from what I have read and have heard BAtman has beaten Catwoman, but she has done well. She also does well against wildcat and others in that category. She is easily just a step or 2 under Bruce IMO.

@Strafe Prower: Where are the feats to show this cause i just looked at that storm thread it's pretty impressive had I not i'd agree with you. People keep saying Catwoman was trained by so and so and has beaten so and so But I haven't seen her beat anyone on the level of the people storm have fought. If you can't give any scans give some good instances. Like a quote or something so we can have a better idea.

OK. If Selina is that close to Batman in h2h then she clearly has a very good shot to beat Storm but I still would like to see some of her feats. In Ororo's defense, she has consistently fought people who were superior to her in either h2h skill, strength, reflexes or all of the above, and has defeated them.
