Cato vs Finnick

This isn't exactly comics but I was curious about it anyways. If Cato and Finnick had been reaped into the same Hunger Games, who would come out on top if:

1. They fought 1v1 with no other tributes or variables around. Cato would have a sword and shield and Finnick would have a trident.

2. Survive longer in the Hunger Games in general if they never ran into each other unless they were the final tributes left alive.

Finnick's older, right? He should have both more experience and survival skills. Also, a trident is ideal against someone with a shield and sword.

@jack_: Cato's been training his whole life though...I don't know about Finnick

Finnick wins both rounds. He's older, more experienced and more importantly, actually won the Hunger Games and survived a second one. Finnick outclasses Cato in every way possible.
