Is there anything on the roof that Batroc could use as a weapon? A 4-6 1/2 foot metal pole or some loose wire perhaps? Because Catman has those nasty spiked knuckles and I dont know if Batroc's suit has any Kevlar or a similar substance in it that would assist him in just blocking his (Catman's) attacks on reflex and/or muscle memory.
Question, mon ami: Is Batroc's suit lined in Kevlar or some similar bullet/slashing damage resistant material? I ask because while he does have the skill level to make this a very long night for Catman, if Catman can just cut through his costume while delivering blows, it would be no point in blocking his attacks as they would only inflict more damage (although Batroc is quick enough to dodge hits.. at least Spider-Man thought so....). Hmm...
Batroc would probably be as thrown off-guard by Catman's fighting "no-style" as Bronze Tiger was. I give advantage to Thomas here, though Batroc's no slouch.

Then Batroc has a very good chance to take this. Considering the fact that members of the French Foreign Leigon are excellent knife fighters, this would open up an opportunity for Batroc to inflict either superficial wounds (which could prove distracting, the very last thing you want to be against a Savateur, believe me), or life threatening wounds which would mean the end of Tom here. Being that this is a random encounter, Batroc wouldn't necessarilly be pressed for the kill shot, but he's more than capable of delivering one. Or seven. Especially if in this random encounter, the hinderance Catman would represent is keeping him from a well paying job. That would essentially be messing with Batroc's financial bottom line, and we all know how much he HATES that. The pipes would offer a chance for him to parry Catman's spiked knuckles via the use of Escrima, so that's another option open to him.
