dick wins
How and/or why?
He recently beat ra's al ghul and fought lady shiva to a draw
When did he stalemate lady shiva? And cass would probably wreck ras.
she doesn't stomp him she fought tim drake recently and tim almost stalemated her

@darktiger: I don't know about recent showings but she has in the in past contended with batman, lady shiva, or deathstroke. She usually beats or stalemates them. Thats out of nightwings league.
She never beat deathstroke that's not possible I believe stalemate though or she never beat batman probably stalemated him

@darktiger: Your right about not beating those 2 all though she actually did do quite well against slade in all there fights minus one where she may have been under the influence of a drug. And a stalemate against batman still puts her out of Graysons league.
I guess your right

@Esquire: That's shiva and cassandra dude
I think he may have been referencing the fact that while Dick fought Shiva to draw Cass outright beat her.

Exactly. Even if Dick has stalemated Shiva, Cassie has beaten her. Twice. She's also danced around Bruce the same way Bruce danced around Dick. She's faster and more skilled, and has movereading. Nightwing's agility, usually his greatest asset, won't help him against someone so much faster than he is.

Dick would embarass her he has lead the titans and was batmans sidekick the longest what could she possibly do? Dick is Stronger, more agile, Way smarter. This is a Fight with a grown man vs a teenage girl Grayson stomps
Anything to back this up?
She has better reaction feat, she was dodging bullets matrix style. She has better skill feats, she's beaten Shiva twice and the time she has lot against shiva there has always been context involved.
She nearly beat Supergirl (with red laser knife).
I dont know why people disrespect her, she was technically meant to be the perfect street level. Someone like deathstroke beating her, i can understand (although i do not remember him beating her though and Deathstroke for one though batman couldnt take her even in his beat day).
Also why does beating Batman's sidekick matter, when she had her power, they spar a couple of time, and Batman often found himself completely unable to tag her, like at all.
Mismatch
cassandra cain blindfolded and with an arm tied behind her back, would still one-shot nightwing...
P.S: i'm not trolling...it's just how bad she wins...
Cassandra, handily.
Nightwing wins by actually existing :)
LMAO!
I would really like to think that a grown man can beat a smaller, teenaged girl but Cass would probably win a small majority. Only because this is without gear though. Give nightwing his escrima sticks and I think he would win. He is stronger and fast enough to contend with her, although not as fast as her. His acrobatic style is a huge help too. But just hand to hand Cass wins.

The thing is, many writters revealed, that in April this year, many characters will be introduced, and some re-introduced into the DCnU continuity...and i belive cass will be among them, i mean theres no reason to think otherwise, there was a rumor that DC think that wally west, cassandra cain, stephnanie Brown, and other characters were toxic!...and i don't even know what that means...but since that, Stephanie has already been re-introduced, wally has been confirmed to appear in April, so way not cass to? DC didn't reveal when she will appear yet, by i think this year, she makes her comeback
Cassandra is the young version of David Cain and Lady Shiva combined, two of the best assassins in DC. Plus, she's been trained by Merlyn, Bronze Tiger, Alpha, etc. Note that when she became Batgirl, she wasn't trained by Nightwing, even though Tim Drake was. She was trained by Batman, Black Canary, and Lady Shiva. Cassandra wins even if they had gadgets.

No, Nightwing doesn't stand a chance! like at all...with escrima sticks or not...
just look at this scans:

he's total outclassed here, cass made him look like a joke, without having to raize a fist...and he even use weapons...
WOW! I had no idea the Nightwing fans were as stubborn as the Bat and Hulk fans. He doesn't stand a chance here. She's beaten Shiva twice and the second time was more towards the easy side. That alone makes her one of DC's best fighters. Can't really say anything that hasn't already been said. The feats are there. It's pretty stupid to just outright ignore them.
And to all the people attacking her move reading, Shiva has the same ability except she had to study and learn it versus being raised that way.
Cass takes a majority. But for those thinking she would stomp Bruce need to see how she had trouble with Joker. Bruce can and has improvised new techniques and styles. It took Cass a year to be able to fully read Shiva. Bruce could stalemate her from the start.
And Grayson is getting low balled. He finds something truly innovative and unpredictable, he could possibly win a couple. Not more than three.
