Carnage

VS

Gorilla Grodd

Win by any means except BFR.

Pre-New 52 version of Grodd

#2 Posted by SoA (4592 posts) - - Show Bio

if symbiotes aren't affected by tp , then carnage

#3 Posted by matchesmalone21 (7641 posts) - - Show Bio

@SoA: Grodd doesn't need to affect the Symbiote..he would use TP to read the mind of the user and get the info,about his weakness and the create a illusion,making him believe that it engulfed in flames, if it affects the user, the symbiote also be affected or just using his TK to split them

@matchesmalone21: Since when does Gorilla Grodd have TK?

#5 Posted by greenteaforme (1826 posts) - - Show Bio

Does the symbiote provide any source of protection against TP?

If not, it's an easy win.

@nickthedevil: Where is this implied? because of the picture? If OP doesn't implied,pre-flashpoint can be used

#13 Posted by nickthedevil (11089 posts) - - Show Bio

@matchesmalone21: Exactly. It isn't implied. Which, by the battle rules, says we use most current, ergo, New 52.

#14 Posted by Mr_Ingenuity (6360 posts) - - Show Bio

@matchesmalone21: By the rules status, no.

#15 Posted by matchesmalone21 (7641 posts) - - Show Bio

@nickthedevil: THe battle forum says to specified the rules,version,location....this thread lack of information. When the creator of this thread implied this,I will agreed

Alright bud. Whatever you say.

@matchesmalone21:

When these things are left out it’s generally assumed that characters are fighting to the best of their ability but still within the limits of their personality, using their standard gear, have no prep time, and are their current versions. Their starting distance is close and the setting is most often a city. Without any specifications to a battle, those are what we go by. It’s always best to give as much information about the fight in the first post.

Taken directly from the battle forum rules. Read 'em.

#19 Posted by matchesmalone21 (7641 posts) - - Show Bio

@nickthedevil: I will not discuss it, just ready and understood. when specified'll agree and that's all.

#31 Posted by SoA (4592 posts) - - Show Bio

@matchesmalone21: i always thought the symbiotes would protect their host mentally as well as physically , but since thats not the case yeah grodd takes it.

#32 Posted by matchesmalone21 (7641 posts) - - Show Bio

@SoA: No,the symbiotes only protects from firearms,some types of energy and phsycal attacks.... Symbiotes has array of weakness to explore

#33 Posted by SoA (4592 posts) - - Show Bio

@matchesmalone21: i only knew of sonics and fire

#34 Posted by matchesmalone21 (7641 posts) - - Show Bio

@SoA: It's because the Marvel's heroes, never thought to exploit this weakness,they always explored the more obvious..... and His physiology ins't like Clayface or Plastic Man,they aren't oragnic anymore,so they can't being mind controled and are capable to whistand extreme heat (depend of which version of Clayface)

#35 Posted by SoA (4592 posts) - - Show Bio

@matchesmalone21: interesting.
