Carnage vs General Grievous
Carnage gets destroyed
Carnage gets destroyed
nope
@those_eyes: Explain then please
Carnage wrecks he didn't do much in star wars apart from lose to obi wan
EU Grievous does a whole lot, the movie made him look like garbage.
@mije_101: yeah but the thing is EU is not canon so the only canon showing are the movies in which like you said he was garbage

Yea..this isn't true at all. Novelizations are canon just as much as the movies, and using his speed and reaction feats he would cream Cletus. Not to mention he's a WAY more skilled fighter on top of being faster and having weapons that just so happen to be his kryptonite.
@juiceboks: no their not Disney have said only the movies, clone wars and Star Wars rebels are canon nothing else counts all the novels have been listed as legends so they are not true
If we're using Legends feats - Grievous wins handily. If we're using purely canon feats then Carnage has a good shot of winning. It depends on what the OP wants to use for the thread.

Which Grievous? Cause bad*** Grievous is no longer cannon. Is this EU or not?
General Grievous stomps.
He is faster and more skilled. Strength doesn't matter since the sabers will cut Carnage in half with a touch.
Grievous isn't totally useless going just by canon feats. He can comfortably dodge blaster bolts and cleave through durasteel armor with his bare claws, going by the Son of Dathomir comics (which are canon), as well as TCW. The main thing that Grievous has a lack of in canon, like all superhuman beings in SW, is speed, but even then he's still probably fast enough for it not to make a huge difference against Carnage. His lightsabers are still just as useful against symbiotes, he's still a highly skilled and unpredictable swordsman, and he's still got pretty solid durability. It'd be a very hard fight going by canon, I would say.

Those are the "immovable" canon pieces of work but that doesn't mean Legends should be discarded entirely. Generally Legends feats are applicable in SW battles..unless stated otherwise.
@juiceboks: tbh if using legends it is a mismatch
No this isn't a mismatch even using Legend feats because Carnage has fought against high tiers before so why couldn't he do the same with Grievous? Even though Grievous is mostly machine, he still has vital organs, so one can argue that Carnage can do to him what he did to Silver Surfer, so this is no mismatch.... I don't know who wins but I know it is no mismatch though..
@darklord_apoc: Actually, if carnage is SS level (Which he isn't unless I missed something HUGE), this IS a mismatch.
That being said, Carnage's success totally depends on the version of GG.

No he isn't Surfer level but Carnage was fast enough to attach himself to Silver Surfer, who has FTL speeds, but as of raw power he is nowhere near Surfer... Carnage is really unpredictable when he fights...
