@keithcolby1995: thast's because batman knew him and them for a long time. when batman fight is enemy, he doesn't go well the first time because batman doesn't know the bad guy. then when batman prepare for 2nd round, then batman wins. this is carnage and batman meeting for the first freaking time. batman doesn't anything about carnage. he will have to rely on spider man, because spiderman has experience battling carnage and knowing is weakness. its not left for spider man to tell batman about carnage weakness. then batman will prepare with spider man for just a day. then that is when batman will do the finishing and win.

@clownprinceofcrime1995: because doom is quite possibly one of the best prep users in the history of comics. Even thanos has said that dr doom is the only human who can perceive things like he can. Batman isn't anywhere close to dr doom.

Doom also gave the beyonder his power back because he couldn't handle that much power.

Thanos is a crappy Darkseid ripoff who batman has outsmarted on many occasions and actually killed. In DC Thanos would be a mid tier Superman villain not a high tier JLA villain.

New 52 batman could pull a win imo. He has a lot of new equipment like heat batarangs and heat knuckles he could use to punch carnage. That and explosives to soften him up for some pretty potent sonic weapons...

He might be able to do it if he finds out Carnage's weaknesses in an hour.

It's capability, Doom taking Beyonders power was pre-retcon so that's non canon now too. Also using kyrptonite he's beat superman every 3rd week.

I know it's a crossover but DS fought galactus and the source had to save G's ass from being erased. Darksied is above old gods in DC (Odin, Zeus etc) and is a universal threat not a galaxy buster like Odin. Also Thanos is only a universal level threat when he has the IG

@clownprinceofcrime1995: I didn't even mention Doom. And from my knowledge, Bruce has never beaten Clark in canon. I don't know what comic you're taking about, but it is more thank likely non canon as well. And Darkseid isn't a universal threat, he never has been. I never said Thanos was a universal threat, but he is for sure with the IG.

Prep won't help Batman unless he knows what to prep for. He has no intel on Carnage whatsoever.

I'd say his only chance is if he tries explosives on Carnage and he discovers his weakness to fire. Otherwise, Carnage's speed and aggressiveness would net him the win.

Darkseid is actually due to take on the universe munching AntiMoniter soon which puts him at least at universal level. Especially as antimoniter wants to eat more universes before fighting DS, so he's a substantial threat.

Carnage would kill him. 60 minutes is not enough time for Batman in this case. And once the battle begins, Carnage's speed and strength advantages end this before it even begins.

When is Darkseid supposed to take on the AntiMonitor by himself?

Batman isn't a "prep god." He's good with prep, but he won't be able to do enough to hurt Carnage in an hour.

OP doesn't give limits he says 1 hour prep so batman has his cave and the JLA armoury both of which are full of weapons capable of incapping or killing carnage. Batman being batman is bringing everything he is able to carry to battle

Carnage has been shown to be pretty vulnerable to sonics but one punch is enough to KO (or even kill) Batman. Cletus gets the majority seeing as his reflexes allow him to keep up with Spiderman and he can use civilians as distractions.

Whereas Batman fanboys (i.e. ones who think he can take Carnage) are nonexistent on this sight.
