Captain Wonder is extremely strong in the current modern timeline. I've only seen him in The Twelve, but at this moment I am hunting down issues of Kid Comics 1 and 2 to see if there are any feats. I don't know how many characters have actually carried an object of that mass, but if I recall he didn't show a great deal of strain. If this were only using traditional golden age powers, he'd stand no chance. However, with his re-emergence into the modern continuity, he may be able to match strength with Captain Wonder, that is if memoy serves right and he really didn't show much strain.
After all, carrying down the shuttle and setting it down would be extremely difficult, and I would have recalled if he strained while doing so.
