Hmm....I think they are pretty much even. Darkseid is pretty much over-powerful, but didn't Marvel fight the Spectre once? (Though I dunno how it worked out lol)

Captain Marvel held is own in the battle, but Spectre did win and then after killed Shazam. That took place in "Days of Venegence" series.

We're talking Billy Batson is his current form?

He has all the powers formerly held by the Wizard Shazam AND the powers given to him by Shazam! I think Darkseid would be rather surprised by this curbstomp.

It seems like we are talking about Billy Baston here. If thats the case in his current form as Lord Marvel he would beat Darkseid. Lord Marvel would take at least 8 out of 10 fights.

Well, I consider Shazam to be around Darkseid level, and as stated, this is only Capt Marvel! So, Darkseid for the definate win!

This would be an interesting battle since they both are being of magic. I wonder if Cap could resist his Omega Beams. Because Cap is as strong, fast and durable as Superman, and since Supes has defeated him. My vote is for Cap Marvel.

Because I feel Darkseid would win Alpha. I think it would be a good fight though, don't get me wrong. I know Cap has given Supes a run at times and such, but then Supes has also taken out Cap Marvel and DS.....has Cap ever fought DS in the comics one on one? If so, please post a scan.

Cap can't resist the omega beams. Neither can Superman, but that' a different story.  On the subject, Darkseid has previously shown to be capable of manipulating Shazam's magic to his own ends, so I wouldn't put it past him if he simply depowered Captain Marvel and sent him on his way. "

Going with Darkseid on this one he is everybit as strong and durable as Superman, probably even more and only reason why Captain Marvel has beaten Superman is his magical weakness which Darkseid does not have...not even the Spectre could put Darkseid down and kill him when Spectre blasted him he reformed seconds later, how is Cap Marvel gonna put him down for good ? not happening. And then we have the Omega beams I am not sure if Marvel can resist them, and the deadly Omega Sanction
