Mar-Vell, Ms. Marvel outclasses him in strength but I don't think its enough to make a difference. Not to mention she would have a fangirl attack and would find it hard to fight back lol
I actually think Ms. Marvel can win here. Carol herself has some good experience too under her belt these days to match up with Mar-Vell... and since she does physically outclasses him. She should be able to win here
Ms Marvel starts out stronger (like 2+ times), at least as durable if not more so, as fast in reaction time and flight speed and she can absorb Capt Mar-vell's energy blasts to empower herself even further. Ms Marvel is an expert hand to hand fighter, having not only been trained in the Air Force but for undercover spy ops as well. Whil Capt Mar-vell has been 'dead' for a goodly number of years, she has continued to use her powers, gaining a lot of combat experience in this time - that he did not. So overall I don't see him having any advatage here,.
But just out of curiosity, if Carol got her powers from Mar-Vell, why is he base strength so much higher?
Also, why not just keep CM, he's looks freaking great as a modern character, even in his stint (skrull form) in Secret Invasion. Instead there's Carol in a new suit. :\
