this is a hard choice i like both but i think id choose cap. britain.

I'd have to say Captain America. Captain Britain has Super Strength, but Captain America has beating plenty of super powered foes.

Britain also had Invlrenability, super speed, stamina, flight and force field abilities. so am going with Captain Britain for the win

Brian has superhuman strength in about the 90 ton range. All his senses, reflexes, speed, stamina and durability have been increased to superhuman levels. He can reach speeds of 770 mph and has a forcefield that adds to his durability.

And? Those are impressive, but Cap has repeatedly fought and beating characters with the same abilities.

i've got to go with Captain Britain...

he's packing a lot more power than America, not to mention his powers are magic based, stemming from Merlin himself....

i can see him taking the win but it would be a very tough fight

Really read up on Cap B.....

as for experiance if you go on ultimates then sure, but if you go with the Real Cap Brit then its over, he has fought armies on multi universes at once, He punched hulk once and made the big green lumux cry. This is a great fight but Cap B is just to over powerd for Cap A to deal with, Fan boys stand down your sounding like hulk fans:p. Also I hate Cap B its like they gave him all these powers to stop us brits from moaning about a hero for us.

Now Cap A vs Union Jack that would be a fight, but cap A would win that.

I know but how many brits get as much lime light as him, Union Jack, Jack Staff, Peter Wisdom, Banshee, Jenny Sparks, desolation Jones, Constantine and there are loads more. I just don't like Cap Brit and how much marvel put into him, when there is characters out there with a much better back story and story in general.

I think those scans are more for his cool factor. We know he can do that with his shield even in normal continuity.

So Cap can land hits on the Hulk and barely defeat Bane in a non-canon comic.

Britain still tears him in half. The power disparity here is enormous, and Captain Britain is no amateur.

Captain Britain can do pretty much whatever he believes now...he managed to pull a non corporeal being into another dimension because he wanted to.

His strength and speed are beyond Captain America. His invulnerability is too much for Captain America to dent. He has no chance.

As for Captain Britain getting the limelight...well he IS the CAPTAIN of BRITAIN. Be a bit cruddy if he was a sideline character like Captain America he needs to be the poster boy. It also helps make the others edgy and gritty i find...Cap Britain can be the bubble gum pop good lad who likes to be beside the seaside and the rest can get daaan and dirty smackin' some slaaagsz!!!

Cap deals with the Hulk for two reasons: he gets more than his fair share of PIS, and Hulk's weaknesses play to his strengths. Honestly I love Cap and feel he is underestimated quite a lot but there is NO way he could win against someone like captain Britain. he is on a completely different level. Its like say who would win cap or void sentry, its a no contest. Dont normally call it but its prob unintentional spite.
