@_slim_: Um which pre-52 Aquaman? The pic is when he had his Aqua-hand is this the Aquaman who's up against Captain Britain?

Also list "standard" equipment, it varies depending on version of Aquaman. if it's with trident it's unfair toward Aquaman. If it's without trident and no water hand unfair toward Cap Britain.

Disregard the pic he doesn't have his water hand. This is the most recent version of Aquaman, post-Blackest Night I guess.

So if I gave Aquaman his trident it would be unfair to Aquaman. But if I take away his trident and his water hand it would be unfair to CB. Any way it goes it's going to end up being unfair to one of them. 
 
I guess I should say this version of Aquaman is post-Blackest Night? When I said pre-52 I thought everyone would just assume it's the most recent version of the character before the reboot. As for equipment what did Aquaman (post-BN pre-52) carry that would be considered standard equipment. I just thought he went into battle with his fist.

Does CB have some kind of TP protection? As far as i know CB is physically way superior to Aquaman. Magic used by Aquaman wouldn't work either since CB was shown to rip spells apart with his hands due to himself being magically powered. The only way i see Aquaman winning is with mindrape if CB has no TP protection.
