I think Hal would win a rematch Atom has lost to Superman, but Superman is extremly fast and has strength to crumble the Moons so there's a chance the GLs would also lose to Superman Atom he also got beat by Firestorm, lost to Mary To be fair to Cap Atom, he does have some very impressive showings
but a re-match would be different, Hal has a lot more experience today and his feats have become more impressive
Regardless of who wins or loses it would be an interesting fight
Here's another... Posting the whole fight isn't neccesary, but lets say that he hit him so hard that he knocked his ass into a building, causing Ronnie and Martin to separate.

Cap has beaten Hal, Firestorm, Majestic. Stomping Mongul 2 isn't a big deal unless he had rings. Without them he nearly lost to Arkillo. Any attack that Hal did to Amazo could be absorbed by Atom so I doubt that will work either.

The lanterns are doomed to lose against the Superman type characters with their skillsets, the shields don't tend to hold up when the heavy hitters start pounding on them. One of the strongest lanterns (Ion) was called a Superman lite by SBP so what does that make Hal?

This is only regarding whether or not Amazo is actually more durable than Captain Atom (and I've seen nothing that would suggest that he is). Not just that, Captain Atom absorbs energy, an ability Amazo generally doesn't have without copying from someone else.

Amazo has the Durability of Superman, Wonder Women MM etc I think his durability is at least up to CA.

I know was just naming some of his feats and who he stomped I never posted a scan i was just sayinh he stomped some one who was Beating the hell out of Supes bats and WW at the same time in Ifinite Crisis.

Very wrong.
Their strongest lantern was described as a "Superman lite with a power ring"....so where does that put Hal? Prime pretty much wipes out half the GL corps everytime he fights and they are always being bailed out by Superman. There is a certain level of strength Superman level characters have that can bust through those shields. There were some scans posted a few days ago by another poster of Major Force breaking through green lantern shields, so it doesnt require SBP level strength at all. Captain Atom also beat Hal down already...so the comics clearly favor the Supermen.
@Baltoro: Sodam Yat is NOT the strongest Lantern. HE had the most potential at one point but he was ultimatley torn down by SPB even with the ION power. At this current moment Sodam Yat is a Green Lantern with the powers of Superman but with a big weaknesses. If his ring loses energy he dies within minutes. He also is no longer the host to ION. Only when he had those abilities was he considered the most powerful of the Green Lantern.
So following your loigc: Because SPB (one of the most powerful aliens in the DC Universe) beat Sodam Yat (an inexperienced Daxamite) and Captain Atom defeated Hal Jordan (once....YEARS ago)...all Supermen can beat any Green Lantern?

In the same book, after Amazo took out Superman with red-sun energy, Flash rammed an 800-lb. uranium rod through Amazo's shoulder at Mach 9. I'm willing to bet that if that were actually Superman, he would have withstood that attack.

Dang well with that feat I guessing that is not Superman durability Then Supes would have no Problem taking a rod threw the shoulder.

1. Sodam was a rookie lantern at the time.
2. He was a rookie Ion as well. He'd literally just gained the power.
3. He was a Superman lite because he was a daxamite. Has nothing to do with him being a lantern or Ion.
If both were bloodlusted I actually wouldn't be surprised to simply see Hal blow a whole through Atom and let him explode. Since they're not I do think Captain Atom probably wins. The showings of the lantern shields haven't really been all that great in the past few years. Is there anything to show Hal would be able to create a shield to stand up to Atom?
