so many capt supporters but then again most of them have a marvel character avatar image or a marvel character in their username.
movie capt is full of PIS, they made him stand up to thor yet he had trouble with red skull. batman on the other hand was weighed down so the movie seemed more realistic.
PIS aside with both guys willing to kill Batman takes this.
...
Cap didn't "stand up to Thor" he just tanked his shot. He can do that because of the shield. The Red Skull is basically his equal during the First Avenger, both in stats and skill. That's why he had trouble.
As for the fight, there is absolutely nothing Batman can do to prevent Cap from stomping his brains out of his skull and grinding the bits into the ground. All the equipment is useless for Cap; he doesn't need it. And Bats has shown very little inclination to use gadgets in the movies, so they won't help him. Cap stomps 10/10, effortlessly.
um technically cap did "stand up to thor" when he told him to 'put the hammer down'. cap didn't tank the shot, his shield did, not to mention thor is supposed to be way stronger than cap. cap should stand no chance in holding the shield up against someone like thor striking on him because cap just doesn't have the strength to back it up.
what stats and skills r u talking about? there was technically little skill shown in the cap vs red skull fight, just brawling, wrestling, head butts, grappling type moves so I can see why cap would have trouble.
batman can do more than absolutely nothing and he can certainly prevent cap from stomping his brains out. cap not needing his shield is hilarious, he wouldn't survive the battlefield without it, he doesn't dodge, he just shields himself. bats doesn't always need to use gadgets, only when the opponent is too overpowered such as vampires, metahumans etc
cap doesn't stomp and definitely not 10/10 effortlessly.

If you watched the first movie, you would know that Cap's shield deflects energy, both kinetic and otherwise. It's not a matter of strength.

Cap in The Winter Soldier displayed insane amounts of skill. The directors in an interview explained that due to the serum, Cap developed an increased learning capacity that allows him to pick up skills at an alarming pace. In the two years following his unfreezing, he was trained by the best fighters around the world. In The Winter Soldier, we see him utilize moves from tae kwon do, muay thai (this seemed to be his specialty), krav maga, judo and brazilian jiu jitsu to devastating effect.
Stat wise, he's superhuman. He shrugged off falling thirty feet onto a car in Avengers, easily walked off falling hundreds of feet from the Triskelion onto concrete in TWS, walked away unscathed from being blown off a bridge into a bus by a grenade in TWS and much more. He was able to throw grown men fifteen feet into the air with his punches and kicks. He was able to throw his shield hard enough to slice through metal like butter and rip apart the armored exterior of a Quinn jet.

Cap dodged minigun fire from a Quinnjet in the Winter Soldier. He again dodged minigun fire after being blown off of a bridge. He was shown to be completely resistant to being electrocuted by the stun batons of ten shield agents (a slight touch was enough to knock a grown man out cold in an instant) and he was able to lift a three ton weight off of the Winter Soldier after being stabbed in the shoulder, shot once in the leg and then twice in the stomach. He was able to dodge a shield throw from the Winter Soldier, a throw that was so powerful it sliced through the door of a car.

For the last time, this is MOVIE Batman. He does not fight vampires or metahumans.
Batman in The Dark Knight was a human. Cap in TFA, Avengers and TWS is a SUPERHUMAN. There's really not much Batman can do, unless he can punch harder than a hundred foot fall onto concrete.
