Captain America from the MCU vs Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2.

Captain America is armed with his shield and Mjolnir. But no weather manipulation.

Battle takes place in Times Square with lots of civilians.

Morals on.

Cap doesn't get Thor's powers (durability etc) outside of being able to wield Mjolnir.

We don't know if possession of Mjolnir would give Captain America Thor's strength and durability as well as having a pretty potent blunt whacking object. If it does, then I'd say Ock is in for a hurting.

You want me to put the hammer down?

Too bad I can't even pick up the hammer...

@darthdalek: You thought that the specific enchantment that says only the worthy can pick up the hammer being null and void in this fight goes without saying?

Riiiight.

Well, then obviously Cap stomps. Because if he can pick it up, he gets the powers of Thor. Even without weather manipulation he still wrecks.

@jmarshmallow: Well why the hell would I give Cap Mjolnir if he can't use it lol. And Cap is worthy in the comics and I guess the MCU as well. In the Age of Ultron comic Con teaser Cap was even shown to be able to move Mjolnir slightly.

And I should have been more specific about this in the OP but Cap doesn't bet Thor's powers in this fight. He only gets to use Mjolnir.

@darthdalek: So basically it's Doc Ock vs. Cap with his shield and an oversized hammer?

Doc Ock stomps.

@jmarshmallow: I'm pretty sure Mjolnir is a powerful weapon in its own right.

@darthdalek: In the comics, yes.

In the movies, it's only powers are weather manipulation, which you took away.
