NEITHER Cap should be able to really harm Tombstone. It took Spider-Man a no-holds-barred punch with his hand in a webbing glove to KO Tombstone. Does anyone mean to tell me Cap can inflict 10 tons of damage with his shield in one strike? Tombstone has the speed, durability and strength to eventually drop both Caps.

What? ONE bad example of writing? (the sledgehammer) Tombstone's upgrade made him far too durable.
im not agreeing or condoning the scan... i am not even convinced tombstone durability is as high as so many ppl on this site think......
i dont know the physic science to make a proper argument of how strong a sledge hammer or shield bash would be in terms of blunt impact trauma... for all i know it could exponentially multiply the blows in the several ton range

The sledge hammer scan is PIS. It is Tombstone's lowest showing ever, and I only posted it as a joke.
Tombstone beating down Daredevil, deomnstrating speed and durability.

Steve is only peak human....He can only apply so much force behind the shield. I'd imagine a shield toss to the head would certainly knock over Tombstone, perhaps even stun him...But that's it.

its a vibe type shield...... i dont see why he cant slice lizard in half not that cap would do it but he can throw it hard enough to cause tombstone to get ko'ed from a massive head injury.... also when did tombstone actually get a speed upgrade he always says it but i want to know why he says if it is even a biological fact... for example olympic, peak enhanced speed on some kind of scan or file,...

HOW he received the upgrade, I do not know. But in the issue I posted the scan from, he boasts about how he's become stronger, faster and more durable than before. Which was certainly true, because previously Parker could hurt him with punches. Now, he only took him out by giving it ALL he had with his fist enhanced with a web glove. Both Spider-Man and Daredevil have commented on his speed. As for his actual attributes, I know he's at 6 tons with strength. Regarding speed, I'm not certain.

It's SUCH a good cartoon, too. I really hope they get the green light for season 3.

Cap still can't generate 10 tons of power behind a strike with that, due to his peak human strength. Unless of course, you have the science to support he could...Which I doubt, lol.
