What exactly is a true american?

Well since superman is an alien I'd say Cap. I'd even put wonder woman ahead of supes as far as patriotism (hell she has stars on her combat panties... America the beautiful)

Considering Cap is the one that's American and wears the flag, I'd say him. I personally think Superman considers himself more of the protector of Earth( at least Pre-52 Superman did).

Well I think the true American is the one that is an actual american and is wearing the American flag as a costume.

Superman wasn't even born in the United States. Steve wins on account of the fact that he was born here.

Also, didn't Superman renounce his American Citizenship? Someone told me he did. If so then Cap wins. Of course Cap already wins for you know, BEING an American
