Captain America vs Predator

ok Captain America is in the jungle on a mission from shield. They detected an alien ship, and Caps mission is to find, and capture this alien...one problem... it's a Predator, and he just chose Cap as his next prey. Can Cap defeat the Predator? or is he over his head?

Cap is screwed. The Predator is stronger and faster, has superior weaponry, and can cloak. Predator just turns invisible, and waste him long distance with a plasma blast. If Cap somehow manages to not get killed by the Predator's first attack, he might be able to leave some traps and outsmart it.

tea a Predator would destroy Cap although itd be cool to see em fight hand to hand if the pred didnt have so many blades

predator would kill him and hang his shield up as a trophy

If Arnold and Danny Glover can beat a predator, how could Cap lose? Batman had a crossover with a predator and I think he won, so I cant see Cap losing.

yeah and since the predator started in the movies before the comics i think that's what made the character. aside Batman beat the predator in their crossover.

The first one was a veteran, the second one was a younger one. In AVP at least a couple of them seemed to be veterans. Judging from the ones in the movies, Cap would have been able to handle any of those and he could certainly handle the one that Batman beat.

This isn't much of a fight. As cool as Preditor is, he sucks. He gets beat by normal people. Captain America could beat one with out too much trouble.

That was one. One good Predator tore through Aliens. With hardly any equipment. I'm not a big Predator fan, but how can Cap see him if he's invisible, hiding up in the trees?

OK he knows that he is going into the jungle to combat and take captive an alien and his tech, so he knows its coming and that its not going to be easy plus he will have prep on what he is going against unless shield is sending him in there with out any back ground on what he's up against (not likely shield is smarter than that). name one thing that the pred can do that capt hasn't fought against before. this is really a neutral ground for them since there both are adapt at fighting in the jungle. I Know the pred doesnt have prep on Capt. America unless they have been spotting him since WWII or after he was brought back by the avengers, so the pred could underestimate him in all around combat. The bolts of plasma that the pred shoots are slower than death so I'm pretty sure that Capt. can block them with his shield plus the pred is not a dirty fighter they have a lot of pride (which in the movies is always there down fall) they want to take there prey in close combat(example.. Danny Glover, Arnold swarchenegger, and the aliens they provoked them then tried to take them with close range combat).

Original Predator Movie - Arnold beast a Veteran RESEARCH Predator (not a warrior).

Predator 2 - Glover beats a Rookie Warrior.

Batman crossover - Batman beats a Veteran Warrior.

as for Cap - Only an Ancient Predator could stop him in a one on one fight.
