Going to say Ozy here. Ozy was only supposed to be peak human but night owl, silk spectre, Rorc and even the comedian (punching holes in brick walls) were pulling off superhuman stunts in the movie and Ozy dominated them easily. In the movie Cap was still shown to be slightly superior to them physically but not by much, imo his fighting skills were lacking. I like the way he took charge at the end and enjoyed his character allot though.
Don't we see Captain America do a vertical leap of about 10 feet in The Avengers when he's sneaking around the SHIELD helicarrier? That seems pretty super human to me.
Ozy wins. Ozy is the smartest man in the watchmen universe while cap is a great leader he isn't as smart as Ozy. I'm not saying cap is stupid I'm just saying Ozy is smarter. Ozy can predict all of his moves before cap can even think of them and counter all of them with ease. If cap threw his shield at Ozy, there is a high chance of Ozy being able to catch it and use it to his advantage. Plus, I noticed from the movies that being peak human in the Watchmen movie is not similar to being peak-human in the Captain America movie. Ex. Rorschach being able to jump over rooftops even ones that are ridiculously far away from each other, Silk Spectre's and Nite Owl being able to break bones with their bare hands (even with lots of training that is hard thing to accomplish unless your opponent didn't drink enough milk growing up), and Ozy catching a bullet. So Ozymandias might as well be similar to Cap in terms of being peak-human and if that's the case Ozy wins.
Captain America outmatched Ozy in feats, except for intelligence only. Cap went H2H against Loki with his staff, The Red Skull, the one great feat Ozy had was attempting to outsmart Dr. Manhattan, other than that he managed to beat up a retired Niteowl II and Rorschach, and killed a retired Comedian by throwing him through a window, a feat that probably could have been repeated by Red Skull or even Cap himself. On paper, Ozy should have been a great match against someone like Cap. The instance of Ozy catching a bullet has been brought up, but it's not as if we actually saw it happen, whereas we did see Cap fend off Mjolnir with his shield.
Ozymandias is more agile, better in h2h and much more intelligent than Captain America. Cap is a little bit more durable and stronger than Ozy. Cap has a slight advantage because he carries his shield but overall Ozy should win this fight.
Cap from the movie is a class above. He ran with cars, swam and caught up to a sub, then punched through the canopy. That's not an average car window glass. That's thick glass(or plastic) that can withstand the pressure of the ocean depths. He also pryed open the steel door on the Helicarrier. Those feats are up there with Cap's comic feats.
The catching bullet feat is damn good. But I interpreted that as a technique and timing thing. He's gloves protected his hand as well. Also, Cap in the comics has stated on panel that he can "see" bullets. That's why he dodges them so well. I don't see the movie Cap as being far off from the comic Cap.
Cap can deflect the bullet with his shield, Ozy was prepared to catch the bullet so he already braced himself. (catching it unprepared is something entirely different)
The Captain should win here i mean ozy may have the intelligence side on him with a good overall of strength and stuff but i would say it is gonna be pretty even although after seeing winter soldier i would take captain his feats were awesome lol
Captain America should win this. More showings against better opponents utilizing more skill and equal if not better physicals. Add the shield and significantly better durability and i think it's case closed.
