Captain America vs Jax

Marvel Super solider takes on the US Special Forces today as Captain America must fight Mortal Kombats Jax. Both are in character and have orders to subdue the other by any means necessary. Captain America has his standard costume and shield while Jax is his 2011 incarnation with the bionic arms and armed with an uzi with three magazines. Jax cannot use animality or any fatality not in 2011's MK so no growing giant or arm blades. Fight takes place in Time Square abandoned, broad daylight standing 30ft apart. Who Wins?

Jax's strength is more than likely beyond Steve's, but Steve has him in speed and possibly durability as well. And though Jax does have his special abilities to fall back on that give him options at range, I don't think they'll really do much in this fight as Cap's shield make Jax's projectile a non-issue, and the ground pound is limited only to the ground so Cap should be able to figure a way to deal with that.

I do think Jax has enough skill to hold his own for a bit though, but in the end the difference between Cap and Jax would become apparent pretty quickly. If Jax did get a hold of him though, there is that possiblity that he could rip a limb off or something, but I think the overall chances or that are pretty slim seeing how strong Cap is, and how experince he is.

IMO, Cap wins this 9/10.

I have to go with Captain America on this one. I don't see how Jax can stop him.

Captain America the guy is a Bad Ass and has Fought worse and knows way more Martial Arts

Jax stomps, he is far stronger and has energy projectiles.

You know what, since you are still here i am going to reply to your MK posts. Outside game mechanics Jax has never been stomped by fodders. If the ending of MK 9 is canon he destroyed a city by smashing his hands to the ground.

Cap wins. Jax could probably take Batman though.

@elderskaar: What? What I'm speaking of happened in a cutscene in the storymode, so I'm not understanding how this can be chalked up to gameplay mechanics. How can his ending be Canon when he was killed in Mortal Kombat 9?
