The combatants start 100 metres apart, Cap has his shield and a pistol, Extremis soldier is unarmed.

Who wins?

I think Extremis has the upper hand with their regeneration, but I believe Cap has far superior skill and his shield gives him an edge.

Depends if Cap can knock out the Extremis soldier. But considering they were taking everything Iron Man was throwing at them and more I'd say Extremis ftw.

Cap gets his ass beat if we are talking about an extremis user who is Aldrich Killian level.

Aldrich was dodging repulsors after they were fired and he had insane speed/strength and he had better regen than even fox deadpool and couldnt be KOed.

If they are supposed to be weaker then i guess Cap still dies due to them melting his vibranium shield and killing him.
