Cap. Diana only masterd Greek combat, and fanboys seem to take that as being the greatest combatant ever. Hopefully no one posts the scan of her fighting Black Canary, for christ sakes Wonder Woman moves 100+ ton things with a cough or a fart and you expect me to believe that she could have held her punches so much that she didnt break BC skull is beyond me. Diana can only pull so much so she still went into that fight way super human than BC.

They have to hold back or they wouldn't be able to live in such a fragile world. In regards to this kind of stuff, 'holding back' is an excuse for them to be able to interact with regular people and open doors without tearing down the whole building.
Diana is a decent fighter but she isn't on Captain America's level.
haha soooo wrong! Diana has been training pretty much her whole life and most of her powers are because of her skill. Diana wrecks Cap. Cap is just a soilder with soilder training that was givin powers. Diana fought and became the best amazon. She out fights cap in terms of skill.
Bruce vs Diana in skill is a tough one. Bruce has got training from the best all over the world.

Captain America has trained in more the just soldier training. He's one of the best fighters in Marvel, and has been stated to be highly skilled in every known form of combat known to man. Even without the Super-Soldier Serum, he's proven to be a very dangerous fighter. He defeated Crossbones with skill alone when the Super Soldier Serum was nullified (and Crossbones normally gives Cap issues in battle when he has the serum). Not just that, there was another instance of Cap losing the Super-Soldier Serum, reducing him to his original, scrawny build. Despite that, he was still able to use his martial arts skills to defeat a handful of super-soldiers (and they were much larger than he was, as far as muscular build goes). On top of that, he also has an understanding of Chi, and has shown to train in the use of it on one occasion. Plus, Captain America has been sized up with several fighters in Marvel (Iron Fist, Daredevil, Wolverine, Lady Deathstrike, Batroc, all three Black Panthers [Azzari, T'Chaka, T'Challa], Winter Soldier, etc). There are even instance of Captain America using his martial arts skills to keep characters like Thunderstrike, the Hulk, and Starfox at bay, using his leverage and their own momentum against them. There are even instances of aikido holds and pressure point techniques.
On the part about Diana's powers, she has powers because they were given to her by Greek Gods. Her fighting skills are inconsequential of her superhuman abilities. As for Wonder Woman's skill, she was stated to be the best melee fighter in the world by Batman. But, I take to mean something only among beings within her class (Superman, Captain Marvel, Black Adam, etc). Even in her fights with Superman, she's clearly the better-skilled fighter, able to keep him on his toes. Yet, Superman always manages to fight her as if her combat skills mean nothing. In short, he makes it difficult for her to fight him, and his combat skills are average at best. Hell, she's even fought Captain Atom off-panel, trading blows with him, shaking the building they fought in. Yet, she wasn't able to beat him (the fight ended with the JLA breaking them up), and he managed with just his military combat training (which isn't much, I'm afraid). Then, there's Genocide, who has no fighting skills, and beat the crap out of Wonder Woman in their first fight.
Between the both of them, Captain America is normally shown to be better skilled, even when depowered.
@HumanNumber: Im saying that even in the Black Canary vs Wonder woman sparing scan Wonder woman even while holding back still had physical stats over BC. A haymaker from Black Canary isnt even equal to a cough by Wonder Woman

@cascadeking09: There is a difference. Shang Chi was train sense child hood. For CA even land a hit is impressive.
WonderWoman has also trained since childhood, so it seems like it's the same case. To me that's like Dinah hitting Diana in spar, that doesn't mean that Dinah could actually take her though.
@Thepowercosmic: Pretty sure that with powers, Diana would demolish Cap, just as easily as she demolished Batman when he tried to attack. She floored him in one punch.

haha so true. Its gets tiresome hearing how AMAZING Hercules and Ares are in H2H when all they do is throw punches and wrestle others.

Even with her powers, she was defeated and depowered by Clayface. Batman once beat Clayface with a single batarang.
Those are both pretty bad examples. Clayface consistently gives pretty much everybody a hard time. I'm sure it wasn't just a regular batarang (if you have a scan that proves it is, I'd be more than willing to concede that point) and she was obviously poisoned by the fight with Cheshire and Ivy. Neither of those are just skill alone, so I don't really see how they apply to this battle, which is hand to hand with no prep or gadgets.
