First of all, Darth Maul is unable to use his force abilities. Just his lightsaber and natural athleticism.
Also, it is often debated whether or not Wolverine's adamantium claws can stop a lightsaber. In this thread, let's forget that debate altogether and just assume that metals like adamantium and vibranium can stop a lightsaber. So Cap's shield can too.
Before the fight, Captain America has 24 hours of prep time in which he can watch videos of Darth Maul in combat, and study his moves and fighting style. Darth Maul has no prep time. The fight starts in the same hangar bay where Maul fought Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. KO and incapacitation do not count for victory. Only death. Cap is not in character for this fight, and is perfectly willing to kill Darth Maul.
Captain America vs Darth Maul (read details)
Captain America will let Maul have it with the rules set up for this thread.Assuming Cap can block a lightsaber, he definitely has the skills to put Darth Maul away.
With no force abilities a giant chunk of Maul's agility and speed are gone. Shield toss to Maul's head-Maul knocked out-Cap wins.

What if Maul still had force abilities, but only for things like speed, agility, jumping, and reflexes? No telepathy, telekinesis or anything like that.
"If Maul doesn't have force abilities he'd probably chop himself in half with his lightsaber"Lol, that's a good point.
Does Maul even use the Force for anything other than making himself more athletic and stuff? He didn't use telekinesis or anything in the movie (And if he COULD use it, he would've just force pushed Obi-Wan down the bottomless pit thing instead of standing there grinning like an idiot.)
If he doesn't use them for anything other than improving his fighting ability, I think he should be allowed to use it in the fight.
But Steve would still win :P
"First of all, Darth Maul is unable to use his force abilities. Just his lightsaber and natural athleticism.Darth Maul doesn't rely on his force abilities very much, or at least not directly. When he uses it, he prefers to use it to enhance his natural skills instead of using it in the direct manner most Jedi and Sith Prefer.

In the books he was also known for using Force choke as well as cloaking.Does Maul even use the Force for anything other than making himself more athletic and stuff? But under these circumstances Cap wins no doubt in my mind.
