Captain America vs Captain America

How would comic cap stack up against movie cap. Both have shields. Movie cap has feats from all movies he has appeared in. In terms of nerfing I dont think they nerfed movie cap much at all compared to the other avengers in their cinematic versions. So this may be a fair match up. Pardon me if its been done before though I didnt see it when I searched.

Movie Cap is much stronger, but 616 Cap is probably more skilled. Although I think they will resemble each other closer to skill when "WinterSoldier" comes out just based off of the trailer alone.

I would argue 616 Cap wins at this point in time because of how much more skilled of a fighter he is. 616 Cap's more then capable of putting down people with better physicals then him.

@wolverine08: Guess I haven't watched the movie in a while, but I thought I remember him being similar to early Spider-Man levels when he jumped around 40 yards to get to Red Skull. I could be way over-exaggerating because I don't remember it right though.

I think Captain America wins, but Cap isn't going down without a fight against Cap. Cap could easily outfight Cap, but Cap's fighting skills are no laughing matter. Ultimately Captain America and Captain America will fight to the superior Cap beats the inferior Cap, but Cap will respect the hell out of Cap after the fight.

Ill go as far to say that movie wolverine surpasses his comic counterpart. His healing factor seems faster and he still retains the indestructibility of adimantium that the comic version does.

@those_eyes: Movie Wolverine isn't no where as fast as Comic Logan and his durability doesnt also come close. Jackman's version is good, but not as good

Comic Cap wins, not that i need to say it. On the whole comic book versions of characters are more powerful/impressive than their film counterparts. On the whole... Gives me an idea.

The comic versions are almost always superior. The movies water them down

@those_eyes: that film should be good yet personally I'm looking forward to when Thanos plays his part with the infinity gems but I have a feeling it's not going to be that great because thanos will probably be nerfed and if it was up to me I would make it the biggest film ever and it would include every Marvel character in the cinimatic universe every villain and then some we haven't seen before but I doubt this will happen so yeah…and back to captain America no 4-5 hours worth of films can capture 72 years worth of comics it just cannot be done but still hoping its a good movie

@those_eyes: He does look Good, and the film looks badass, but he hasn't done anything to compete with 616, I highly doubt he will to be honest.

Ill be happy if they do this half as good as you are pointing out. As long as they dont nerf thanos and since he is going to be one of the biggest threats marvel has encountered they will desperately need way more help than just the avengers. But I have a feeling they will only use the guardians of the galaxy and the avengers to put a stop to a nerfed thanos. One of my other theories I hope they possibly go with is that thanos will make his way to Asgard and take the terserac and get a hold of loki and tell him to give it to him and they will have a scuffle with thanos pimp slapping loki then thanos telling him he will destroy asgard later and just take the terserac. Then that will cause loki to help the avengers against thanos. But they will need way more help.
