If Steve Rogers was to replace Batman in the events occurring during the story of Arkham Origins, do you think he would make it through to the break of dawn and end the crisis?

Steve is given all of Batman's gadgets already available to him at the start of the story, and attains the rest as he progresses.

His knowledge of the many criminals and villains of the plot is equal to Batman's.

So it's just Steve Rogers replacing Bruce Wayne with access to all of Batman's resources?

Sure.

@hyperviper97: He can't replicate or attain any of Bruce's physicality or mentality no. He only has access to whatever Batman had access to during the story.

@hyperviper97: I wouldn't say Captain is a better fighter than Batman, Bruce has fone through longer and better training, he traveled the world for years mastering all kinds of fighting styles and he was trained in the top league, league of shadows.

Captain doesn't really have the same way of intelligence as Batman posses, nor the gadgets and knowledge on Gotham.

Cap's downfall is his lack of versatility compared to Batman, particularly when it comes to Bruce's diverse mental skills. Even with the gear, Captain America isn't a detective, meaning he won't be able to figure out his next move. Perhaps he can potentially just hang out until all the assassins come to him, then he can just defeat them all one at a time, but that won't stop Joker, and there will likely be many casualties.

Eh. Cap couldn't do it like Batman step by step. He'll get stuck with the detective type stuff. But he'll save the night if he rolls his own way for sure.

If this was just a matter of fights etc. then yes the Captain could do it.

But there was a lot of detective stuff involved and he would get stuck there

So Steve knows as much about the villains and area etc. as Bruce does? Yeah I'd say he wins, he won't go about it the same way as Bats would but he would make it through. Especially since this is comic Cap against game villains, he beats the brakes off them.

This. No way in hell any of the assassins can kill 616 Cap, but he's a battle strategist and tactician, not a detective. He would definitely survive the night without any significant injury, but there will be more civilian casualties because of the Joker.

Though on the other hand, he COULD just brute force his way through a lot of the traps that Batman struggled with.
