Interesting. Don't know whether this has been done already or not but interesting nonetheless. Evidently both are among the best hand to hand combatants in their respective universes. Cap I would say has a physical advantage due to the super soldier serum increasing his abilities to peak human ability in all respects but Batman has a much more strategic mind. Not saying Steve doesn't use strategy just that Bruce is better in that respect. It would be incredibly close but for me, Bruce would find a way to come out on top against Steve. He'd eventually find a weakeness in Steve's fighting style before Steve finds Bruce's weak spot.
CAPTAIN AMERICA (No Shield) vs BATMAN (No Gadgets)
I dont know how that happened cause i clearly put it in the battle forum page. Oh well
If anything Captain America's stamina is what should make the difference. That and he should have the better stats.
Batman would have to be a ridiculously better fighter than Cap in order to compensate for super soldier serum. Don't see it happening in Bruce's favor.
Yea Cap wins this in a close fight. Batman is an Olympic Level Human. Cap is one level higher than that - Stronger, faster, quicker and more durable than Bats.
Retro TV Versions (Adam West vs Reb Brown) -Batman wins due to feats and PIS
Movie Versions 1 (Matt Salinger -1990 vs Michael Keaton) -Batman. He is just plain better and more badass
Movie Versions 2 (2011 Film vs Nolanverse) -Cap would punch Bats's head off his neck.
616 Cap vs New Earth Bats (not new 52, I don't know him yet) -Caps win 5.5/10 fights. The crossover may be quasi-canon but it does a great job in reflecting what will happen in a fight between a peak human fighter who's roamed the world learning martial arts from masters here and there against a slightly enhanced human fighter that has learned virtually all martial arts but most of them through "urbanized" masters.
Ultimate Cap vs New Earth Bats -Superhuman Cap would own.

Fight could go either way. Batman is definitely more skilled. Cap is definitely the more powerful physical specimen.
If I had a gun to my head, I guess I'd pick Cap.
Usually i say Batman in these "Cap vs Bat" battles..however the only real advantage Batman has over him is his gadgets...so i'm giving it to Steve on this one
Going with Cap mainly because of the endurance
But Batman does have feats that place him above "Olympic level"
Ok First off Bruce is peak human.Steve is also peak human but its pretty common knowledge that his stats are better than Bruces (Though not by a tremendous means)
Way i see it Steve has an physical edge here,Bruce has a skill edge.In my opinion skill beats stregth every time in comics so i give this to batman
I gotta go with Cap. Without his tech Bats would have a very very tough time overcoming Cap's physical advantage.
What's this supposed to prove?
Concievable,CONCIEVABLE.It's concievable that i will become the UN secretary general one day.
@stevenj201192 said:Why is the "conceivable" the word in question? I see more issue with the word "could". It just says Cap has the ability to beat Bats. That's a given. They're pretty much on the same level and people on the same level could beat one another. It does not say Cap "will" surely beat Bats.

This could go either way but I think Batman would pull through in the end. Either way both of them are going to be really sore after. :P

tough call. But cap wins by unanimous decision not a KO
There isn't a referee in the fight. Someone is going to get KO'ed eventually. LOL.

Pretty much this. I do think Batman could give him a hard time, but he'd still lose.

What if Batman had a gun to your head?
LOL yeah i know. but I'm just saying if there were a referee, he/she would record more punches from the cap corner@grimlock said:

I think Cap takes it in a fight that is more lopsided then you'd think. Not a stomp, but I think Cap quietly controls the fight from the start.

If Batman has a skill edge over Cap it is not by much at all. As such, I dont think the VERY slight edge in technique will compensate for the physical superiority that Cap has over bats, not to mention that Cap can fight for a hell of a lot longer than Bats.
Tough fight but I'm leaning towards Captain America. He's got the edge with his Supersoldier Serum-enhanced strength, speed, agility and reactions. Bruce is on par with olympic athletes, but Cap borders on superhuman. Won't be easy, but Cap will come on top imo.
